I know it's been out for AGGGGGGGESS but I watched P.S. I Love You the other night with the luscious Gerard Butler in it...I lost my husband in 2013 and it just made me go all slushy inside...beautiful film.

About Time - the moral behind it is so poignant...how can anyone not cry???
Out of Africa - just the whole thing, and the way she loved him, the music, the scenery...
The Way We Were - first saw it when I was very young (about 10) and it affected me even then...
The Breakfast Club - "we're all pretty bizarre. Some of us are just better at hiding it, that's all." Teenage angst, and now the memories, always evekes tears
Love Actually - Emma Thompson crying to Jonie Mitchell and Andrew Lincoln's "To me you are perfect" to Keira Knightly - ahhhh the pain of unrequited love....

Titanic. Pre kids I used to blub at Jack drowning, now as a mum I absolutely howl at all the Dads being left behind instead as they get onto the lifeboats. Sad

The Color Purple
Armageddon Blush
The Green Mile
12 Years a Slave
Shawshank Redemption (Brooks leaving)
Sleepers
Terminator 2 when he self terminates BlushBlush

I know it's not a film but I watched the whole of Derek again this week. The episode where Lizzie's husband tells his story about visiting his wife every day and sometimes she doesn't know who he is. He then says he doesn't mind because who else gets to fall in love all over again every day of the year? Plus the little dog that Derek loves being put to sleep. Derek forgiving his dad... It's the anniversary of my dads death this week and I'm struggling physically and mentally. It felt good to have a big cry.

Lassie Come Home
When Harry Met Sally

The Impossible. Broke my heart watching that film. Just imagining not knowing what had happened to your children like that. Unbearable.

MrsHaitch · 29/02/2016 19:03

I recently watched pretty much every Nicholas Sparks adaptation in a week. I ran out of tears!!

fucketbanny · 29/02/2016 19:09

Amour, a French film showing a couple aging together made me blub uncontrollably!!!

Dizzybintess · 07/03/2016 22:47

"The way we were" is a real weepy!
"Life as a house"
And the film "me without you"

Dizzybintess · 07/03/2016 22:50

Also the biggest weepy of all time has to be my favourite film...Harold and Maude

I'm late to the party but Everybody's Baby: The Rescue of Jessica McClure. I watch it (quite by chance) every couple of years and it hits me right in the feels every time Confused

HappyGoLuckyGirl · 19/03/2016 10:45

Yy to The Impossible. Watched it alone, not too long after becoming a single mother and I fully sobbed, it actually broke my heart.

How has no one mentioned Precious? Harrowing film. Absolutely devastating.

CallousAndStrange · 22/03/2016 21:36

I sobbed at Les Miserables, though in my defence I was very pregnant and VERY hormonal at the time. I wasn't the only one though, a girl in front of me had made the huge mistake of wearing heavy eye makeup, which by the end was all over her face...
