No reading suggestions from me alas - I always bring a book of poetry with me, which has the advantage of being [usually] a Slim Volume of concentrated reading - you can read it over and over and get more and more out of it.
Not wool either - no yarn suggestions of any kind🙁
The Gosie episodes are getting more and more tense - is somebody going to be caught doing something bad? do the gerbils need 'an extraction plan' or can they just run away? has Fenella got sharp talons? will Errol show up, tower over Fenella threateningly and say 'no, these are talons...' while the gerbils make their escape?

It's been tough, hasn't it? I know the extreme heat has been a big problem for some Stockingers and their nearest and dearest for health reasons, but look, you were all strong enough to get through it, and now you can look forward to a nice cool Autumn and fog and floods and then ice and sner on the rerds
