Had a strange dream last night that that some heavies tried to force their way into the Bluey: two geezers by the names of Grimace and Grumble, apparently working for a Boss called Globular Gladstone. Sharp pinstripe suits and trilbys like something from the 1930. LOL

Is is chocolate or cheese that causes wacky dreams? Or just too much gin?

Supposed to be cheese, but I seem to get weird dreams when I don't eat cheese. Maybe I've built up a tolerance.

If I remember rightly, it was the offer of a delicate glass of creme de menthe or Tia Maria that sent them hurtling through the exit, screaming in terror.

Here in Mid-Wales we're being forecast heavy rain tomorrow morning over a period of several hours and again on Saturday morning. The Met Office weather map for our area tomorrow certainly foresees a wet morning. I will report back.

Happy times seeing Rocky Horror as a student. Brilliant film.

DH was a teenager when his parents had an unexpected gathering at their house.

A chap with a small diatonic accordion turned up. At one point, for some inexplicable reason he told DH "If you can get a tune out of that, you can keep it!"

DH played the moothie, was naturally musical and got a tune out of the box.

At the end of the night, the accordion player threw the box towards DH and said "You'd better keep that!"

Years later, he learned to play a chromatic button box plus the guitar.
