What are the goals of feminism?

I am interested to know what are the goals of feminism in 2023. I'm honestly curious as someone who doesn't know a whole lot about it.

It’s a small goal, but I’d like it if men didn’t expect women to do their heavy lifting for them and spoon feed them information

I’d also like it if women felt willing and able to tell men to fuck right off when behaving that way

Equality with men is a first step - but it is equality in a man's world. The challenge after that is to build a world which benefits women as much as men. We've barely started yet.

I'm genuinely curious to know more. We hear about feminism in the media and so forth but honestly I would like to hear from actual feminists, first hand. I am here with an open mind. Also since I started this thread, I think it wouldn't be good of me to start bandying around strong opinions here. I'll try to respectfully reply to anyone who might have a question for me. However I think this is a good place for actual feminists, be they men or women, to present their views as per the title of this thread - 'What are the goals of feminism'.

As far as I am aware, there is more than one school of thought when it comes to feminism in 2023. Presumably each individual who posts on this thread comes with their own conception of what feminism means to them. So perhaps it makes sense to address the question of 'goals' from the perspective of what feminism means to you as an individual.

I won't be using any aggressive or confrontational language here. I posted this thread, framing the question in neutral terms. I am not being disingenuous here. I come with an open mind.

Someone suggested I should start this thread. The question I pose here came up on another thread but wasn't really relevant to the topic under discussion. I took their advice and created this thread.

he doesn’t need to learn anything (obviously!) so probably won’t actually read anything anyone writes

but it would be nice for him to know that some women are bustling around obeying instructions
