have been staying away for reasons i earlier explained,
but after 6 months of dp being at home with us(made redundant) he starts working again tomorrow 6 days a week till 6pm every day.
am happy he's working again for his self esteem as much as the money but wondering what ill be like on my own with dd again?
still havent got new ad's as doc still on hol and although no its the best thing we could do, am a little worried.
i know i can do things my way again but its the seperation and loss of adult conversation each day. how will i manage?

had a very busy day, cleaning and pottering about with dd, she has been great all day, then as soon as dp came home... my mood changed!he moaned at dd cos she wanted his attention as she missed him and never spent any time with her, we even stayed upstairs after her bath having a cuddle to give him some time to chill out(laughable i know, ive been with her all day!) then as soon as we went down, she was still exited to see him and he winged about not watching x factor as it was too loud and busy for her and stomped off upstairs till i took her to bed!b***d

Hi there youngfifemum and welcome to MN. it's such a life change isn't it, from being out and about/with colleagues at work (okay you don't necessarily like them all but at least there is a bit of background distraction!), to being at home and it being such a faff to get out.

is your HV any good? If so she could be useful in knowing what's going on in the area. if you put a specific post about it then there might be other mumsnetters from your neck of the woods that want to meet up with other mums or know what's good/cheap to do with kids in the area . there is also a "Meet-up" topic on here - so have a look there to see if there are any local threads.

in terms of the tablets - are you still on those? has your GP referred you for counselling at all? would you want to be referred for counselling at all if not? bye for now x

hit and miss with me unfortunatly.
dp on day off today as has to work sat, we had massive row last night about dd spilling yogurt! which ended with me in tears, him being and arse and me going to be at 8pm. woke up this morning and couldnt be botherd carying on the row, so started talking but really dont know wether im on my a**e or my elbow! im either crying, angry, tense or thinking id be better off dead.then the next day, im fine? been on efexor for two weeks, but dont feel they're doing anything yet..or maybe i am asking too much?i dont know?

thankyou both, have had a lovely day today, just me and dd stayed in making snowflakes and paperchains and colouring them in! then putting them and more christmas lights and decorations up!
we did the same tuesday as all our other days are v.busy!
woke up this morning and dd stoked my face and smiled at me(only 19 months!) and said 'Enno!(hello), felt very privelidged and grateful being able to see that beautiful face every day.

she is! shes such a little charichter and she is now getting so much closer to dp! she used to cling to me something terrible, but since dp went back to work, she follows him round as soon as he gets home and even leaves me to go upstairs with him while he gets changed! its lovely seeing her 'bonding' with him as he isnt all that confident, so by dd being more loving/interested in him, has really brought thier relationship on, which gives me 5 mins to have a break now!!!
