I'm really worried

The voices keep telling me to do stuff, very scary. And CMHT have rung twice yesterday and today, which also scares me as it means they must be worried. I don't know what to do, I'm scared they might hurt me.

Thinking of you.

SnowyMouse · 07/01/2019 20:16

Thanks. I’m curled up in bed, texting with the Samaritans about every hour. Feeling anxious about tomorrow.

So go to A and E. X

SnowyMouse · 08/01/2019 13:52

I'm thinking about emailing the dr and asking if it's ok for me to take prn when things are particularly bad, sounds sensible?

PRN is for when things are bad. You don't need to ask them if you have a prescription. Also ring the CMHT, and tell them you need your antipsychotics increasing x

SnowyMouse · 08/01/2019 14:06

he did say someone else would be in contact, I wonder if he's going to leave like the last 2 - they're having major retention problems. It's been months since I've had a stable care coordinator. Not helped by the cost of living where I live, the new one is commuting from London.

What happened x

SnowyMouse · 11/01/2019 15:26

Well new care coordinator has left, that makes 6 in under a year.

So no care coordinator for now, but someone is phoning every couple of days, and I can ring crisis over the weekend if need be.

and I can take diazepam when things are particularly bad, not got much left though.

Just an update in case anyone's wondering, I've got daily contact for now.

Italiangreyhound · 15/01/2019 20:40

@snowymouse how are things going? Thanks for the update.

I'm feeling really run down by it all - feels like ground hog day, telling them no/later/go away, distracting, prn where necessary.

OP posts:
Italiangreyhound · 24/01/2019 20:48

What does this mean Snowy "telling them no/later/go away, distracting, prn where necessary."??

SnowyMouse · 24/01/2019 20:56

I mean I’m using my distraction techniques, and telling the voices no, talk to them later or go away. And I’m taking diazepam when things are particularly bad.

Keep going OP, it must be so hard and so exhausting, but you're doing it. Thanks

Italiangreyhound · 25/01/2019 09:03

Well done.

Keep those voices at bat.

We are rooting for you.

Are there any on line forums providing help.

Thanks.

Only mumsnet. I'm not really sure what other forums there are, other than mental health forum, which I haven't found very helpful.
