Currently in the grips of a panic attack and need talking down. Is anyone out there? Full of self loathing and have tried taking a few different tablets to calm me down and now nothing has worked panicking about the tablets. Is anyone able to hold my hand and help me calm down? Sorry to ask x

Those onions sound fab!

Vicky hows you today?
Weather here is a bit grey and so is my mood today. Strong coffee needed for me!

Hows the lovely lady OP today ♥️

Hello lovely new pals - so I had no sleep, zilch :( when it got to about 4am I decided to just do my work urgents for the day so they're done and I have some breathing space today.

I've already called my neurologist and said I need some help, and also did some research which has been handy as looks like periods can actually have a big effect on us epileptic sorts - I came on yesterday so perhaps connected.

You all saved me from going a bit over the edge last night I can't thank you enough.

What's everyone got planned for today? Any nice things I can use as inspiration for my day? x

Awwww information is power. Especially with new diagnosis or health issue. It's the neurologist appointment set up ok??

Im working tonight at 5 and was working yesterday so am recovering from yesterday's shift

Im crocheting a blanket for a friend's little girl and it's nearly finished so I hope to make a little progress on that. Mainly rest to preserve energy for tonight's long shift

Are you having me time today lovely??? 🤩 I do hope so, you need to spoil yourself a little xx

Luvly12 · 11/10/2018 18:45

I've had a shit day and am planning on going home to cry my bulbs out.

Dancer12345 · 11/10/2018 20:34

@Vicky you must be exhausted.

What happened @Luvly12? So sorry to hear you’re feeling rubbish.

ItsABeatifulDayNow · 11/10/2018 22:08

@Dancer12345 @Hippychick78 @MistyReturns thanks all so much saw doctor and have short course of zopiclone to get me back into a sleep routine (omg feels incredible knowing I'll sleep tonight - off in a min!) and a repeat of propranolol. All learnings and moving in right direction. This time last night I didn't want to wake up even if I did fall asleep. Today I've booked a cute little weekend away alone to do ALL the things I like xx

@Luvly12 oh no what's up love? Can we help at all? I owe you one after all xx

I'm so glad you are feeling better today, OP! I struggle with anxiety as well. I'm going to take some of the advice PP have given as well!

Luvly12 · 12/10/2018 09:44

Ah thanks... sorry im derailing your thread Vicky! I'm great today. Just a bad day yesterday with messy family stuff. Came home and went shopping and for coffee with my hubby so that helped my mood.
And all is great today Wink.

Did you sleep last night?

Dancer12345 · 12/10/2018 23:53

@Vicky Glad you’re feeling a bit better. Hope you sleep well tonight! Where’s your weekend away?

@Luvly12 Glad you’re better too!

Just knowing that anxiety can't hurt me no matter how much of a grip it has helps me.
