I am so tired, I have had my ESA assessment and they have declared me fit to work, I am appealing, Just got sent a form to say they want to assess me for PIP as well.

I can't go through this again, its the same damn fucking form.

I am too tired to fight the NHS, to fight this system. If I could work I fucking would be.

If I was a dog someone would of put my out my misery, I am the only person who can do this

Sorry I posted twice, I did not mean to. I'm on my phone. It must feel exhausting having to fill out all those forms and be assessed. I know a bit about it through my brother. Can you talk to your gp? Are they supportive?

It is all so money generated and so removed from what we as people need. I'm so sorry you are having to deal with this.

Is there someone who would fill out the form for you? I used to do my brothers ones when he was fed up of them. They did realise that he couldn't work after a while, it took a long time but I do know the system is just not fit for purpose really.
Where are you now?

I got you didn't mean to post twice, no need to apoligse.

I am not filling this second form (PIP) If it is anything like the ESA, I can do shit on some says so I must be able to work.

I love my partner and my son but this is not a life worth living.

Try not to think about the form now. How old is your son? What does he like doing? I have a son who is fast asleep next to me, he's 13 and shouldn't really be sleeping in my bed!!

He is 4 nearly 5. He loves Batman and is a smart arse.

Why shouldn't he be sleeping in your bed?

People get so engrossed in the fact a child should grow up, they forget that a child is under 18

He's been sleeping here for the passed month. Not sure who needs it more at the moment.
Mine was obsessed with power rangers at that age. Lovely age, tough though. What will he be doing tomorrow? School I guess?

Flowers I'm sorry you feel so bad. I was there just before Christmas, was done.
I'm glad you 'bottled it', please go to A&E or call 999 if you feel like you are about to do something to hurt yourself.

Well I can't sleep, maybe I'll give up now and let my dogs in for a cuddle!!!
I was quite glad that the power rangers thing ended but now of course I remember it fondly.
I'll never forget all the adverts, at 13 he can now look beyond marketing, although he spends a fortune on football boots, repeatedly, drives me mad!!

Still here.... are you doing the school run today? At that age my son used to wake up before 7 and eat tonnes of weetabix for breakfast, or shreddies, but only if I poured the milk over in the correct way and the cereal was the right anoint of soggy!!!

I've been where you are and it's horrendous. It's left me getting the shakes whenever a brown DWP envelope drops through the door.

I got help from a local charity to fill in esa and dla forms as I had no idea what to put or how to describe things and they were a huge help. I've got my pip reassessment coming up and it's making me ill, but I've asked them for help again. I wonder if there is someone like that in your area too?

My partner did the school run this morning, I couldn't face it.

A&E can't help me, unless I present there actually having done something. Struggling to get through the day and wanting to do something isn't enough.

I have had a look for someone to help me with the forms, and its the CAB, who are booked ages in advanced.

Your gp will help, you can get an emergency appointment. Can your partner go with you? Or another friend or family member?

I had the same problem when I got in touch with our CAB. I used a group locally called 'disability on line' which is a separate charity. The CAB may know some local groups like that who they could refer you too. Its tricky as I found out about my local service by word of mouth, rather than the internet.

A&E can help without you having to have done something, they can get you an assessment from psychiatric team because you want to do something. Our A&E has a psychiatric nurse attatched to it for this reason. DH has seen them a lot.

For PIP theres something in the wording about being able to do something to what would be considered an acceptable standard, you can score points if you need prompting to maintain this. This has to be the case for more than 6 months of the year or 50% of the time but it takes into account sometimes you can do it and sometimes you cant.

e.g DH works but scores for high rate PIP because he needs prompting to take meds, eat, wash himself, etc. We haven't actually tried claiming it yet though so don't know how things would go at assessment.
