I don't want to panic anyone but I am wondering at what stage you are classed as suicidal.

((hugs))

Do you feel like ending things? Have you tried? Are you planning it? xXx {{hugs}}

cantdothisanymore · 09/02/2007 18:41

Yes, sort of.
No, not recently.
Just thinking about it.

hugs - I was considered suicudal when, in the mid of my depression, I thought that everyone would be better off without me. , noone needs to feel like that its horrible.

lulumama · 09/02/2007 18:45

probably at the stage when you are thinking it is a preferable option

do you have a crisis team you can call, or out of hours doc?

Quootiepie · 09/02/2007 18:48

Are you under sort of care from your mental health team? if so, ring the crisis team. If not, ring your GP {{hugs}} Or even the samaritans?

cantdothisanymore · 09/02/2007 18:57

Ok. Thanks.

No, no-one to call. I'm ok.

Echo the samaratians - spent a couple of long bad hours on the phone to them

Go and find some really cheery cheesy music and stick it on whilst MNing. I always find that music can help my mood!

zilm · 09/02/2007 19:16

Just keep in mind that no matter how low you feel someone out there needs you around, even if at the moment you may not realise this

cantdothisanymore · 09/02/2007 19:28

Can't call anyone.

I know... things will get better, one day this will seem like a bad dream, people can help, someone needs me... I know. I really do. I don't need any help.

Thank you for your responses.

Yes, have tried before. In hindsight, it was a pathetic attempt and wasn't going to work.

I don't necessarily want to die but I want go to sleep and never wake up. I don't want to have to kill myself but if I died that wouldn't be a bad thing. I think there is a difference.

My dosage hasn't been changed. I have no plans for when DS is away. I just want to go to sleep.

lulumama · 09/02/2007 21:18

unless you mean that you don;t want to wake up?

Bugsy2 · 09/02/2007 21:47

Whereabouts are you in the UK cantdothisanymore? My kids are away this weekend, if you are in the London area, I'd be happy to drive to you now if it would help.

cantdothisanymore · 09/02/2007 21:52

That's so kind of you. Really, I'm very grateful for your offer. I'm not near London though.

Thank you. I have to go and sort some things out now.

My car could do with a de-coke! I can do further afield than London.
How old is your DS?
