I'm sorry to have to let you all know that Helen sadly passed away early this morning.

I know that she has posted on Mumsnet for over 10 years, under many different user names, and I'm not sure what they all might be, but this is the user name that is stored on her laptop.

I know that she was not in pain and she had her parents and myself with her.

Its difficult to put into words, but I know that she always loved posting and spending time on these boards, and I know she offered so much to your community, even when she was not at her best.

I hope that I have put this message in the correct section, and if not please move it to the most appropriate area.

With great sadness

Jon ( Helen's husband )

I'm just asking in case the knitters on MN (WoolyHugs) are around....they often knit a lovely blanket in honour of lost Mumsnetters for their children to have as a token of MN's love for the person who has passed.xxx

nochurniscream · 13/05/2015 23:27

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I knew Helen as FluffyDressingGown and she was a lovely person, I know she suffered a lot but her love for you always shone through.

Flowers for you and all who loved her.

AgentCooper · 13/05/2015 23:37

I am so sorry for your loss, Jon. I haven't been on the MH boards in a while but spent a lot of time here during the worst times in my life, under different names. I remember Helen as FluffyDressingGown and I just marvelled at her kindness and intelligence when she was going through hell. She will be remembered with great love Flowers

Wolfiefan · 13/05/2015 23:43

I recognise both MN names mentioned. I'm so sorry for your loss. Gone too soon. xx

zen1 · 13/05/2015 23:58

So very sorry to read this. I was only thinking about her yesterday and remember her as a warm and intelligent person. My thoughts are with you.

Jux · 14/05/2015 00:01

Jon, so sorry. RIP Helen.
Thanks

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 14/05/2015 03:38

Thanks for you Jon. I remember Helen as Fluffydressinggown too and am so sorry to hear the news. :(

Much love to you and your/her family - I hope you can get some comfort from these messages and as others have said, if you'd like to stay, you'd be welcome. There is a Bereavement board for more support if you ever feel like you need to chat - lots of people, sadly, in your position.

(((hugs)))

PeggyTeee · 14/05/2015 05:11

Jon, I am so sorry. So sorry.

Helen always struck me as a woman of the most incredible strength. She spoke, as others have said, so highly of you.

Barefeet · 14/05/2015 07:46

I'm so sorry, Jon. I spoke with Helen a lot in the past. She always came across as such a strong, intelligent woman & even in the depths of depression, spoke so openly. MH is awful. Such a waste. Helen will be missed. Thinking of you x

WanderingTrolley1 · 14/05/2015 09:15

BeccaMumsnet · 14/05/2015 09:44

We're very sorry to hear about your loss.
Much love to you and your family from MNHQ Flowers

windchimes23 · 14/05/2015 09:47

Helen was a very dear friend. Always there to chat with me despite her own problems. She helped me through some very dark times.

I will miss her so much. Her funny emails, letters and our daft ramblings on the phone.

My heart goes out to you and your family xx

UpOnDown · 14/05/2015 10:24

mummylin2495 · 14/05/2015 10:40

Deepest sympathy to you Jon, I too knew her as FluffyDressingGown and we have spoken on here , not often and not recently. I hope she is now at peace, I know for her life, was such a struggle.

Bassetfeet · 14/05/2015 14:51

So sorry to read this sad news. I have shared on some of Helens threads and
had huge admiration for her struggling so hard to have the life so many take for granted.
Helens love for you Jon shone from her words.

Thinking of you and Helens parents .
RIP lovely lady x

AFingerofFudge · 14/05/2015 15:11

Really sorry to read this news - I read some of her posts, and she was such an open and kind poster, despite her inner torment. RIP. and sending love xx

DaysAreWhereWeLive · 14/05/2015 16:16

I didn't know creamhearts at all, but looking at her posts she was so very generous with her story, her experience and her time, when others needed support. It seems she will be very missed around here.

So sorry for your loss, Jon.

Teladi · 14/05/2015 19:44

I was a lurker on some of Helen's threads and I know she was a kind and caring lady. I'll be thinking of you and of all your family. Lots of love xx
