belated Good luck Polly

and Flowers and Brew for all who want/need

Just walked home in the rain. I Have a cup of cocoa made wth nice healthy water in front of me, and a can of squirty cream. The more cocoa I drink, the more room there is for cream topups.

Ennn · 19/02/2015 16:10

Oh and I have coffee too. Tesco fake gold blend. Grin

Instant coffee doesn't get cupboard space in my house. I'm umbilically attached to my nespresso machine. I have one at home and one in my office.

Ennn · 19/02/2015 16:48

It didn't in my house either until I got a taste for it in hospital Blush

Have to put a shitload of milk and swetener in it tho.

Ennn · 19/02/2015 16:48

Was amazed by how expensive it is tho.

PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 16:49

don't have milk with coffee, no, although would be very polite and drink it anyway

according to gp am never drinking coffee again anyway since my thyroid randomly and suddenly almost quadrupled (fo real) its hormone production

on the plus side my resting heart rate is that of a living person, on the not plus side I have a goitre I hadn't even noticed and ever since she asked hadn't I noticed this am horribly conscious of it

hopefully the scan will say it is all lithium's fault

PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 16:50

nespresso is nothing like actual coffee, and it will never come close

why do I have to give up coffee? do I really have to?

HellinaHandbasket · 19/02/2015 16:50

It is likely to be the lithium Polly. What a bastard.

Ennn · 19/02/2015 16:50

Eek; no wonder you felt a bit off.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 19/02/2015 16:54

I blame the lithium.

Did you get more of it though, at the same time?

UpOnDown · 19/02/2015 16:54

(((( polly )))) I hope that they manage to sort things out for you.

CBT person agrees I seem improved, I know recovery isn't a straight line graph though, so I may feel crap(per) tomorrow.

I know right, I told you I was ill!

gp said endocrinologist said might not be lithium (am sorry WAS the only adult woman in my family not to have some kind of hyperthyroidism) we will see if the scan says it is something worse

better if it is my beloved lithi-yum though, really

PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 17:00

encouraging that others have noticed improvement up

I was on a much higher dose back in 1999 or whenever I started it caulk so it won't be the recent increase - it was only put back up because I was trying to gradually wean myself off it (usually I just stop it without any thought whatsoever)

is probably a bit soon to be worrying about the lack of any alternatives to lithium isn't

PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 17:01

oh right what you mean

yes came home with a carrier bag full of lithium and propranolol and antithyroids

PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 17:02

is not me missing out words it's my underactive computer

Ennn · 19/02/2015 17:06

But of a shock for you Polly Flowers

Ennn · 19/02/2015 17:09

*bit

PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 17:21

thank you :)

for a hypochondriac I have a mortal fear of and reluctance to attend any doctor type things, although was v good today, but she said it was Well Important

Ennn · 19/02/2015 17:26

Well done for getting in to see the doctor Pol.

Was walking thru town earlier and have seen that the police have shut down my local head shop under some new antisocial behaviour law Shock this country is getting sinister
