CaulkheadUpNorth · 19/02/2015 17:56

Or pizza. I always did pizza or stir fry for hordes. Or toad in the hole.

Ennn · 19/02/2015 17:57

Boil hotdogs, add smash and beanz. Result Grin

Ennn · 19/02/2015 17:57

I LOVE toad-in-the-hole

Ennn · 19/02/2015 18:00

I actually find things like stirfry really hard to scale up - everything heats up more slowly and seems to release more liquid and it ends up as a stir-stew.

HellinaHandbasket · 19/02/2015 18:01

Darkhan and Roma are my favourites Chap. I always have decaf as well as I don't drink caffeine after 3pm.

Ennn · 19/02/2015 18:03

Do you find that helps Hell? I tried it for a bit but it didn't seem to have any effect.

Millie2013 · 19/02/2015 18:06

I'm cooking the parents blue cheese, pear and chorizo risotto. What a concoction!
What a bum, Polly, I hope you're ok
And Up, I'm pleased you are feeling a bit brighter. Baby steps (are what I'm aiming for)

CaulkheadUpNorth · 19/02/2015 18:08

That sounds great. I love risotto.

Am having a thai green curry thing with squid and scallops in it. The sachet of curry paste was from the imported asian foods aisle rather than the curries developed for british people aisle so is tongue-blastingly hot

Angry
HellinaHandbasket · 19/02/2015 18:13

Darkhan is an 11 so quite strong Chap.

I don't really know if it helps Ennn but it's a habit now and it's one less sleep-related worry for me to obsess over.

Didn't notice the time, I'm off home, talk later.

Ennn · 19/02/2015 18:16

I gave up in the end because tea, coffee, and diet coke are the only reliably-available non-water sugar-free non-alcoholic drinks. Too much hassle Grin

Ennn · 19/02/2015 18:17

Seriously, pretty much all drinks contain at least one of sugar, caffeine, or alcohol Hmm

UpOnDown · 19/02/2015 18:44

Definitely baby steps. I'm feeling hungry at all the mention of delicious food.

why should I stop having coffee in the morning? what difference will it make?

although in recent weeks have drifted from normal espresso to making gloop with sachets Blush because I thought it was making me jittery

I know this is unhealthy and not especially helpful but can't stop asking self: why haven't I lost more weight if I really have hyperthyroidism?

PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 18:58

most teas don't have caffeine or sugar or alcohol unless you add them?

Ennn · 19/02/2015 18:59

Yeah but try sitting with mates in the pub and ordering a camomile tea.

PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 19:06

Grin I just have sparkling water - am the life and soul (I am actually Confused)

#3 is making The Omelette and then 'slutty brownies' which should be interesting

UpOnDown · 19/02/2015 19:06

Good news: the crisis team are coming every other day now. Feels less intrusive.

I drink too much diet coke, and tea (I do drink some squash too).

UpOnDown · 19/02/2015 19:07

What are slutty brownies?

OP posts:
PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 19:08

your guess is as good as mine!

I can tell you they involve oreos, brownie mix and choc chip cookie dough

UpOnDown · 19/02/2015 19:10

They sound yummy (and decedent) Grin
