I cannot deal with them, I'm weirdly competitive about weight in a way I'm not about anything else. So if someone on there drops 5lbs then I have to as well.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 19/02/2015 12:28

It will now have lots of money thrown at it though, I guess.

My lovely runner academic housemate is In your county. I told her to wave when she drove past your bit and past horses. She is going to a little village near Ipswich to write science stuff.

PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 12:30

I have dreams like that! I can't balance on my horse and gradually it becomes apparent that it's because of my extreme obesity and massive folds of fatty skin, or I'm standing on the scales and they say something thrilling but incompatible with life, like 25kg, but my naked reflection on the shiny surface of the scales is a horribly unflattering view of my rolls and rolls and rolls of lard from below.

I dream about eating creamy cheesy pasta a lot too and wake up feeling a bit panicked for a few moments until I go over the day before.

PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 12:31

what village? TELL ME

Ennn · 19/02/2015 12:43

Dental appointment went well, relief Smile

CaulkheadUpNorth · 19/02/2015 12:44

Hurrah! Great news.

Ennn · 19/02/2015 12:48

Yay Smile

Ennn · 19/02/2015 12:49

Also have achieved five hours sleep last night and the floor has stopped crawling. So results all round.

UpOnDown · 19/02/2015 13:02

That's good to hear Ennn Smile

I'm tired, not sure if I'll see someone from stepup today.

Is it a bit like you're walking round in a dream?

PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 13:58

sounds like depersonalisation/derealisation (dissociation?) type things ? I forget what they all are, that whole disconnection stuff?

my mood nosedived last night (following an unpleasant conversation, not spontaneously and for no reason) and I still feel a bit too rubbish to cope with anything much today - such as Leaving The House and I have to buy cat and dog food and persuade the pharmacist to give me some vitamin L

PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 14:03

tiredness will do mad things won't it

but 'There is honestly nothing wrong - no money worries, good job, nice house etc etc' - why do you keep saying that?

PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 14:14

not that problems with those things won't worsen someone's mental health, we know they do, but those kind of material concerns are not a prerequisite for mental distress - it feels like you are giving yourself an even worse time just for being fed, clothed, housed etc

PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 14:17

anyway, a hug

it is true what they say about money allowing you to be miserable in comfort

PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 14:46

ugh how on earth can you use 'nice' and 'posh' in relation to nespresso Grin

I HAVE to go out, apart from anything else the only way out of this horrible lethargy is to take some kind of action

but I want someone to come with me because I'm having a day of being truly pathetic Blush

PollyPooic · 19/02/2015 14:57

argh my GP just called and wants me to go and see her within the hour Shock

what monstrously bad thing has my last blood test revealed?

UpOnDown · 19/02/2015 15:21

Good luck polly
