Hang on, have just seen there's a noncommercial user option. Hurrah etc.

BNF says Capsules, doxepin (as hydrochloride) 25 mg (blue/red), net price 28-cap pack = £3.77; 50 mg (blue), 28-cap pack = £5.71.

Confused

(I am still alive and wallowing in self pity like a mutant hippo but with both back legs hurting)

Millie2013 · 11/02/2015 08:43

Do you need a lameness work up?

HellinaHandbasket · 11/02/2015 09:16

Both back legs? Has the leg injury spread?

I'm at home waiting for my CPN. Have to go to work this afternoon.

PollyPooic · 11/02/2015 10:26

I spent too much time bouncing around on the good leg (which is the old bad leg, the one that had the soleus strain that took forever to heal) while experimenting with 'running on one leg' technique on my walk last night I think - on plus side can do 25 virtually painless seated calf raises on the other leg already

please don't trot me up, or do that nerve blocking thing, I can point to the hurting bit, am much more helpful (and cheap) than a horse!

Millie2013 · 11/02/2015 10:31

Box rest and bute, in that case

PollyPooic · 11/02/2015 10:32

hope you have nice time with CPN hell, are you getting to know one another a bit now?

I don't know what I'm meant to be doing today, feel utterly adrift, it's taking all morning to wake up and get some focus (plus I am 400g 'overweight', a whole kg heavier than I've been for the past few days Confused) have spent about six hours on the phone talking shit and trying to find out why the spectrum (SURELY WE ARE MOVING BEYOND THIS SORT OF THING NOW, I HATE SPECTRUMS) isn't a used or useful concept in personality disorders if it can apply to just about everything else

PollyPooic · 11/02/2015 10:35

can I have danilon instead please?

and whatever is the new ACPs, sedalin or whatever (was basically chlorpromazine wasn't it? I made an ex snort crushed ACPs once with lithium and it paralysed his face for hours)

am better at being on box rest than brown horse, who had an abscess in a diagonal pair of feet and could only bear weight on the other pair and still manage to escape at high speed and disappear for hours Hmm

Millie2013 · 11/02/2015 11:06

Yes, you can have danilon. And I'll chuck in a lickit and treat ball to keep you occupied!

Ennn · 11/02/2015 11:07

Ugh. Slept 11 hrs and still feel tired. Everything aches. Can the universe fuck off and come back tomorrow?

Could you be anaemic?

Ennn · 11/02/2015 11:10

I assume someones tested iron at some point; I keep having blood tests done and none ever tells me what was in them.

I'm supposed to submit that 300wd thing to apply for that college course by Friday but have read over what I wrote a few days ago and it's no good.

OP posts:
Ennn · 11/02/2015 11:17

Why do medical types not tell patients the results of medical tests?

OP posts:
HellinaHandbasket · 11/02/2015 11:26

Generally if you don't hear anything it's because everything is ok. There are some weird types who hoard lab results. I don't understand those people.

Ennn · 11/02/2015 11:35

I don't hoard results but itd be nice to know. You can have normal, say, cholesterol, and it still be trending up from test to test.

OP posts:
PollyPooic · 11/02/2015 11:42

I think I'm one of those people, I hoard running data - all exercise data actually, even swim metrics, the more detailed the better so with running I know my stride length, cadence as well as pace and distance and elevation gain (or loss)

and today I was very excited to finally receive my registration pack after about 9 months for the TDM thing so could log on and admire my lithium levels and renal function and all those things but the fuckers missed off my registration ID so I have to wait a few more days

HellinaHandbasket · 11/02/2015 12:15

I meant doctors who hoard data. You're free to hoard all the bits and bobs you want to.

I'm off to work. Talk later.

Ennn · 11/02/2015 12:44

Apparently i have a low total alkaline phosphatase Hmm who knew? Hba1c is 33 though so I don't get more met Sad

OP posts:
Ennn · 11/02/2015 12:44

Why would doctors hoard data? Weirdos.
