I know this is a Bad Thing to say but the person we sort of know in common Caulk has made the funniest, coolest and breathtakingly poshest suicide attempts ever

it's put me off even trying tbh

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 22:16

we have a lower idea of toxic in the UK than many other places

well I don't about 'many' but the US anyway

Ennn · 08/02/2015 22:20

Posh suicide attempts?

Surfeit of lampreys?

Throwing yourself in front of the king's horse?

OP posts:
CaulkheadUpNorth · 08/02/2015 22:22

Yes! I had forgotten that. Maybe that's what I should do. Or go to the castle and throw myself off the turrets.
(Obviously will not do that, nor should anyone else)

Millie2013 · 08/02/2015 22:23

That's not good, Enn :(

Millie2013 · 08/02/2015 22:25

I'm curious (although not in an experimental way) as to posh means of suicide
Caulk, castle, is there a local castle somewhere local that has castle in its name? Or is it a ruin? I've often (occasionally) wondered

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 22:26

I can't really say can I

they were all along the lines of 'and then I took Daddy's aircraft and piloted it singlehandedly in adverse weather over a remote mountain range' type thing

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 22:28

we're obviously all incredibly shit at killing ourselves

let's work on our other skills and natural altitudes instead

Ennn · 08/02/2015 22:29

Nope, it's not good - that's why I won't take lithium. Too scared. Couldn't do that to my mum either.

So do all of you know each other then?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 08/02/2015 22:29

Millie, it's the ruins of an old moated Manor House. Friend it (or whatever you so these days) on fb and see all the stuff that goes on. It's brilliant, we use it all the time, much bigger than you realise and sososo good.

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 22:30

APTITUDE not altitude

although my Garmin is also an altimeter apparently so could be helpful if I was allowed to skydive

CaulkheadUpNorth · 08/02/2015 22:31

Yeah we have a secret club.
millie lives about five miles from me, we were at the same university at the same time and polly and I have sort of friends in common from the iow.

Millie2013 · 08/02/2015 22:31

I'm assuming that posh person survived though? And given that so few of us have access to Daddy's plane, I think that's one method we can discount
I'm very shit at actually killing myself, so have diverted my attention to keeping myself alive. Apparently this involves reaching out for help. Who knew

Millie2013 · 08/02/2015 22:32

I shall check it out, thank you!

CaulkheadUpNorth · 08/02/2015 22:33

I can fly a plane so I would be shit at doing it that way as I might not crash it.

Ennn · 08/02/2015 22:34

SadWink

I know Chap lives vaguely near me.

OP posts:
PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 22:36

as far as I know she never used a plane

but all her 'toss it to the fates' type attempts involved things only the super rich have access to

not many of my bipolar friends are dead yet :) which is nice!

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 22:37

you know my postcode and my calf measurements

Ennn · 08/02/2015 22:39

I don't know your postcode; I deregged in a fit of paranoia and don't have access to the account with those PMs any more.

OP posts:
Ennn · 08/02/2015 22:42

So look on the bright side; I'm now far less likely to turn up at your door demanding omelettes and horserides not that anyone's going to let someone who's eleven stone with a seat like a sack of wriggly bricks sit on their horse Grin

OP posts:
PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 22:45

well you have my calf measurements

I just checked them again in case the obesity epidemic had struck there in the meantime and they're still up to date measurements

my calf feels so comfortable now the physio will think I am malingering, they might not have seen factitious calf injuries before

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 22:47

you could ride either of the ponies

you could have ridden the horse in his younger days but he is a bit past it now

Ennn · 08/02/2015 22:49

Poor horse Sad

Calf.still swollen then?

OP posts:
PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 22:51

it might be swollen or it might be a very localised outbreak of obesity

Ennn · 08/02/2015 22:51

Horses seem to know I have no idea what I'm doing and take the opportunity to crop grass while I sit there gradually becoming furiously redfaced.
