What am I looking forward to today?

A hot bath, ASAP. Grateful the hot water is working.

Millie2013 · 05/02/2015 09:04

Yes, I suppose Mumsnet is quite popular with the search engines

I'm going to the Spring Fair at the NEC today, with mother outlaw
Can't really be arsed, in all honesty and I'm tea deficient :/
Hugs to all in need

happyyonisleepyyoni · 05/02/2015 09:20

Morning all.
I'm looking forward to reading a bit more of Bringing up the Bodies. Finally managed to start it last night (bought it when it came out) and enjoying so far.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 05/02/2015 10:04

It's a great book happy, at least I loved it.

Am at work today, don't know if that's a good or bad idea.

brightandbreezyNot · 05/02/2015 10:08

Take it easy at work mp

Mentalpsychiatrist · 05/02/2015 10:15

Only have afternoon clinic today so I should be fine. Am quite happy sitting here dictating letters.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 05/02/2015 10:16

My psychiatrist dictates letters whilst I'm there. You're missing a trick Wink

Mentalpsychiatrist · 05/02/2015 10:27

I'd rather give my patients as much of my attention as possible so I scribble notes during the appointment and write up or dictate later.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 05/02/2015 12:09

Please could you be/teach Freud to be like that. I now just find it humorous that he never looks at me, but it would be nice sometimes to know what was happening to me without having figure it out from the letters he is dictating to other people.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 05/02/2015 12:44

It sounds like Freud is just rude.

SnowyMouse · 05/02/2015 12:57

Well I have contacted CPN Sad. I hope work goes ok, mp

CaulkheadUpNorth · 05/02/2015 13:08

Well done snowy.

Freud is very very odd. He wears suits where the jackets are full of notebooks so they are falling out and his hair is thick and wavy and grey and his glasses have jewels on the side.

He does however follow through with whatever he promises, and so I am very very thankful for him.

Mitchy1nge · 05/02/2015 13:38

good job snowy :) Freud certainly sounds characterful

have had unexpectedly productive day, started watching Marathon Man but there was no marathon, only lots of stressful tense bits and torture so I did some tidying up Shock

then once again egglessness was the mother of an alternative lunch: 100g boneless skinless chicken breast cut into strips (134 cals) 185g of the frozen stir fry mix (46 cals) some ginger, lemongrass, coriander and garlic spice mix (let's say 20 cals for a nice round number) all seemed to cook nicely without any oil

is delicious :)

SnowyMouse · 05/02/2015 13:44

That chicken stir fry sounds nice. I've got lamb rogan josh (no rice) again. Well done on the tidying.

Mitchy1nge · 05/02/2015 13:49

it's great BUT elsewhere on the internet the calorie count for 100g of chicken breast is much higher

these are Waitrose mini chicken breast fillets, the packaging and MFP agree on calorie count

but everywhere else says says skinless chicken breast is higher

this sort of thing makes life feel less like a precious gift and more like a long and unjust punishment

Things have Ben fucking weird lately, had to deregister and block MN on my router so haven't been able to get into old accoint for several days and hide various activities. I'm sorry to disappear, wish I didn't have to and can't explain, everything's fine with me but can't get this FUCKING music out of my FUCKING HEAD Grin I hope everyone is doing okay

Mitchy1nge · 05/02/2015 13:52

yay you found your way back to us

thank goodness you are ok, we had some theories

OP posts:
Ennn · 05/02/2015 13:53

Freud does sound slightly odd but mostly in a fairly copeable way, far preferable to some of the ways he could be odd, but I agree its a little rude never to look at the pt but on the other hand, I sometimes quite like it when they dictate letters about me in my presence because its more transparent and also if there are any inaccuracies I can mention them so they don't accidentally get passed on and become Lore.

Ennn · 05/02/2015 13:56

Sorry hate this drama shit, didn't mean to but got a lot drunk/high/confused and got posting to explain/deregging and blocking on router the wrong way round which was problematic.

Ennn · 05/02/2015 13:56

How is everyone today?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 05/02/2015 13:58

Hooray you're back. There is a regular poster called LaQueen who has just deregistered. Maybe you are also her?

Yes. It means I know what the doctors or other people know about me which is nice, and I'm used to him doing it which helps too.

Ennn · 05/02/2015 14:01

God forbid, no, I'm not laQueen lovely though she and her house undoubtedly are

Mitchy1nge · 05/02/2015 14:02

have never had that before, dictating stuff while I'm there

but I never get copied in on letters either despite asking about once a million times

If you scroll back through you will find the theories we had on why you weren't here. We didn't suggest you might be Katie Hopkins but apart from that pretty much everything we covered.

Ennn · 05/02/2015 14:07

I know someone said they PMd me but I don't have access to that acct any more, am not ignoring anyone, am just a bit of a thick twat mixing up orders of events. On plus side have been xrayed by a soldier, sent appt with new psych (have been allocated to the consultant for some reason), achieved NHS dentist, blood test, diabetes check, knee appt, contact lens check, many other things.
