I don't mind most of the doctors - it's really everything else about the practice I don't like
Glad to see it's a common issue (well, I'm not glad you all have to struggle with the same bureaucratic shit, but I'm relieved it's not just me being useless).
If I'd only been registered with a GP in my home county in the first place, I would've been able to avoid this piffle. It's just a hassle changing CMHTs and then there's this ASD referral thing (which I suspect I've been lucky to get in the first place, though I have my doubts as to whether anything will come of it). When this is all over and I'm discharged from the CMHT, I'll probably switch GPs.
I just went in to my surgery to get an appointment - any afternoon in the next month, please, any doctor - if Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday, in the branch in town, if Tuesday or Friday, at my local branch. Which she interpreted the opposite way round, somehow - "I'm in town on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday" is obviously very ambiguous
Somehow this has translated into my getting an appointment this Monday with the GP who accused me of being manic and grassed me up to the psychiatrist. Pfffd.
