You're more than welcome to cook here any time mitchy.

Enpoid · 22/01/2015 18:21

I only have skillets, is that okay?

SnowyMouse · 22/01/2015 18:21

Likewise Grin

NiamhNext · 22/01/2015 18:23

Oh dear goddess mitchy, come and cook my omelette! Grin I have mushrooms and spinach. Just not the will to chop up the onions. This could be the day I have an omelette with no onion. Shock

Mentalpsychiatrist · 22/01/2015 18:29

I'm a bit lacking in will too Niamh but hunger is focussing the mind a little.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 22/01/2015 18:32

I was waiting with the hope one of the housemates would cook dinner and share it with me but she won't cook as her dp is in the pub. Hmpt.

Will have to sort my own dinner.

Enpoid · 22/01/2015 18:35

Kangaroo stirfry for me for dinner. Lots of soy sauce in it. Living dangerously Grin

Mentalpsychiatrist · 22/01/2015 18:56

I've never had kangaroo, what's it like?

Enpoid · 22/01/2015 18:57

Sometimes a bit chewy. Quite lean. It's ages since I last had any, though, so I'll let you know what this batch is like Grin

Enpoid · 22/01/2015 19:16

Turns out the reason I don't strongly remember the flavour is that the flavour isn't very strong - it's lean like horse or venison steak but milder in flavour than beef.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 22/01/2015 19:20

I'm so pleased you said that, because that's how I think of it, but I sort of assumed I was weird and didn't get its subtle delicacies or something.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 22/01/2015 19:21

Sounds interesting, I must buy it next time I see it. For some reason I always shy away from non-traditional meats.

My sleep is still mentally abnormal but I feel fine. Wonder what's going on.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 22/01/2015 19:23

That isn't good. Or at least it doesn't sound good.

Try crocodile if you can. Reindeer and something else I've forgotten are sold a lot here.

SnowyMouse · 22/01/2015 19:27

Are the meds helping?

Enpoid · 22/01/2015 19:30

I can't remember if I've had crocodile. It might have been alligator Confused I'm glad you noticed the same thing about kangaroo too Caulk Grin

I like reindeer but too often with unusual meats you just get an anonymous slab of meat with no indication of the cut and no attention paid during butchery to the direcrion of the grain. I've had some reindeer, sold as leg steaks, that really should've been stewed for hours.

Enpoid · 22/01/2015 19:31

Hope it gets sorted soon Mental.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 22/01/2015 19:32

Zolpidem is helping me get off to sleep but I'm still waking around 4 and can't nod off again. Best not to worry about it for now Confused.

Enpoid · 22/01/2015 19:40

Odd. I've had that and it's a PITA. Poor you Sad

SnowyMouse · 22/01/2015 19:49

I hope your sleep gets back to normal soon.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 22/01/2015 20:05

How are you doing today snowy? Feeling any better?

SnowyMouse · 22/01/2015 20:09

Maybe lifted a little, hope it continues.
