I vote for egg fried rice and stir fried vegetables too. Pork tenderloin stuffed with prunes here this evening. Should be somewhat 'loosening'.

Enpoid · 21/01/2015 18:40

How are the prunes carbwise? I haven't eaten dried fruit since going low GI.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 21/01/2015 18:42

Prunes are probably not great but if I pick holes in the cooking I'll be left to fend for myself.

How was singing group? Is it a choir type thing?

SnowyMouse · 21/01/2015 18:47

Pork tenderloin sounds yummy.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 21/01/2015 18:48

Hi snowy, feeling any better today or still in the horrors?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 21/01/2015 18:49

I am very jealous of all your dinners. Well, no. Just MPs acually. We have a house full of coleslaw and not much else.

Enpoid · 21/01/2015 18:52

Singing group is sitting round a table with lyrics printouts, listening to a compilation CD selected by somebody with questionable taste, and attempting to sing along, for an hour and a half Grin

I'm having a curry for dinner, just something out of a jar as it's a gym day. But I'm not doing that until I get back from this talk I'm going to this evening. Just for now I'm having some cashews and a cup of tea (too late for my poor whingeing body but I thought some carbs might fend off this headache).

Mentalpsychiatrist · 21/01/2015 18:53

What talk are you going to Enpo?

SnowyMouse · 21/01/2015 18:54

I'm feeling pretty awful still.

I like the sound of egg-fried rice and stir fry too.

Enpoid · 21/01/2015 18:55

Do you cook at all, Mp, apart from magnificent Beef Wellingta, of course?

Enpoid · 21/01/2015 18:55

It's a talk at a local church on mental health by the diocesan wellbeing person.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 21/01/2015 18:58

I do cook but not as much as DP. She works in the village so is home before me and she enjoys it more than I do. I did make The Omelette last night though.

Enpoid · 21/01/2015 19:05

I tell myself DP enjoys cooking more than I do too Wink

Wondered if headache and weirdness-feeling was down to a tyramine-related slip-up, but no, BP is normal Confused

Anybody else looking forward to Wolf Hall on BBC1 tonight? I loved the books so I hope it does them justice.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 21/01/2015 20:00

Yes but Im watching it tomorrow when more awake

SnowyMouse · 21/01/2015 20:03

What's it about?

SnowyMouse · 21/01/2015 20:13

I'm distracting with blackadder

Mentalpsychiatrist · 21/01/2015 20:15

It's about Thomas Cromwell and the court of Henry VIII.

SnowyMouse · 21/01/2015 20:15

Thanks :)

Mentalpsychiatrist · 21/01/2015 20:16

1330 calories today, missed my 1200 target. I think the cashews at lunch were my downfall.

SnowyMouse · 21/01/2015 20:18

Still close though, I always find that it takes a few days adjustment to get used to less calories. I did 1166, but hot chocolate later will make it 1206.

Mitchy1nge · 21/01/2015 21:20

bit late back from 6th form thing, unexpectedly emotionally charged event - #2 went there, although she missed over a whole year and kept up as well as she could in hospital, and all her teachers were still there, she's still in touch with them all on FB, and so I had hugs with some of them and was not the only one with tears in my eyes Blush those were really really really dark days (I need to have a long cry when I get to bed)

they were extra lovely to #3, is first time she has set foot in a mainstream school for a very long time, she liked it a lot, they are willing to take her based on her KS2 stuff (given how little formal education she has had the gcses are quite likely to be poor) so that's fantastic

if I eat the personal sized four veggie pizza, crusts and all, on the way from dominos plus a twix I can close MFP on 1469 cals

if not it will be 663

I would really like to go to bed and cry but am running tomorrow, quite far and quite fast

plus being Mentally Normal is made up of all these little choices isn't it, every day, deciding to do the Mentally Normal thing

Sending lots of hugs.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 21/01/2015 21:41

How about eating half the pizza mitchy?
