I told her she was too grumpy on Saturday. That's pretty much what we're arguing about!

You're right Caulk, I need to move on. If the weather weren't rubbish and DD weren't grumpy, I'd go out
I'm not even showered yet tho

SnowyMouse · 21/01/2015 12:57

MFP is great. I've had smarties as a morning snack Blush On the positive side, that meant I went to the corner shop, haven't been out for a week. No snow here. I'm still feeling really low, wish everything would go away. Adding sugar to highlights is a good idea, I have highlights last thing at night with a splash of skimmed milk.

Millie2013 · 21/01/2015 13:22

Snowy. I want smarties now!

CaulkheadUpNorth · 21/01/2015 13:23

Millie come and join me for a cold walk around town. It's what the cool kids are doing (honestly, you're v welcome).

Everyone you can come too, but only if you teleport or something because I'm probably too far away.

On the flip side of that, it's vvvvvvv cold, I don't recommend people spend too long outside.

SnowyMouse · 21/01/2015 13:24

Cold here too. I was thankful for my thick wool coat and socks.

Millie2013 · 21/01/2015 13:33

I would if I didn't have a teething baby Caulk, we ought to do coffee one day soon tho

Is town bham?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 21/01/2015 14:16

Yes. I should really say Birmingham but I grew up with only one proper town so it's just stuck.

Millie2013 · 21/01/2015 14:17

I call it town too :)

SnowyMouse · 21/01/2015 14:25

Just had lamb rogan josh (no rice, 450 kcal).

Mitchy1nge · 21/01/2015 14:37

I don't add the sugar to the drink, I just eat it separately.

Was the rogan josh good?

SnowyMouse · 21/01/2015 14:41

Ah right.

Yes, it was lovely. Just wish I didn't feel so desperate.

Mitchy1nge · 21/01/2015 14:45

:( is today any better or worse than yesterday?

OP posts:
CaulkheadUpNorth · 21/01/2015 14:45

On your care plan (or similar) what it is that you need to do when you feel this way? Is there someone you can contact?

SnowyMouse · 21/01/2015 15:06

About the same as yesterday. I don't think contacting anyone would help.

Mitchy1nge · 21/01/2015 15:10

I just saw my surname in the credits for a film, it gave me a real jolt as have rarely seen it anywhere. My actual surname, not one of the three I had growing up (things were odd) before marrying someone and using their more glamorous family name. Which happens to suit me, obviously.

Anyway that was weird.

OP posts:
CaulkheadUpNorth · 21/01/2015 15:16

Ooooh, that's cool. I have three surnames, but use the one I hate most so as to placify the mother. Plus it's on my adoption certificate and I think that over rides by birth certificate. Dunno.
But yay, I get the excitement.

I'm in costa knitting baby hats and reading (hooray for kindle stand) and trying to think of what to talk to the r counsellor about.

Snowy do you ever text the samaritians? I find it a really helpful way to contact them.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 21/01/2015 15:17

I mean I hate it most not I use it most.

SnowyMouse · 21/01/2015 15:49

I didn't know you could text them, their website doesn't list a number?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 21/01/2015 15:52

It does, but it's quite hidden away as it's not something they advertise hugely. It's 07925 909090

SnowyMouse · 21/01/2015 15:54

Thanks for that caulk Smile

Mitchy1nge · 21/01/2015 16:39

that's such a good idea, the text thing

have achieved A BATH

and 3 giant marshmallows (307 cals)

because I have such a diverse and captivating range of interests I am mainly preoccupied with what to make for my supper out of microwave sachet brown rice, the frozen stir fry mix and possibly one or two eggs for actual protein

OP posts:
SnowyMouse · 21/01/2015 16:47

two-egg omelette with rice?

They must be massive marshmallows.

Mitchy1nge · 21/01/2015 17:00

yeah 93g each, perfect for toasting on the fire!

I wondered if a stir fry would work, crack the eggs into it and kind of scramble them in?

am late for meeting Confused what are you having later? Are you feeling full on 1200 cals? It's not much food by the sounds of things

OP posts:
SnowyMouse · 21/01/2015 17:10

I'm having a yoghurt and a creme caramel. And some veg. I'm not feeling full, but exercise is very difficult for me.

Stir fry could work.

Enpoid · 21/01/2015 18:10

I'm sitting on a chair at reception at the gym waiting for DP to finish, having mysteriously failed to achieve cardio workout despite feeling fizzed up with excess energy and having spent most of the day bouncing about. Seems to be a case of brain says yes, body says "wah, I've got a stitch and a headache from headbanging during singing group and moving muscles is hard work and why haven't you fed me any caaaaaarbs or let me sleep, whinge moan complain".

I would do egg fried rice and stir-fry the veg separately.
