I'm listening to Harry Potter. Mmm, pork chops! Smile

Enpoid · 15/01/2015 19:11

DP refuses to schnitzel my chop Sad

Which book Snowy?

Mentalpsychiatrist · 15/01/2015 19:14

Beans are the most perfect accompaniment to pork chops. The challenge is to avoid them going cold.

Enpoid · 15/01/2015 19:15

Eat 'em fast Grin

CaulkheadUpNorth · 15/01/2015 19:15

Nooooooooooooooooo.

When I rule the world beans will be banned.

Enpoid · 15/01/2015 19:17
Angry

Then you shall never rule the world for as long as I draw breath, by the hair on the Virgin Mary's chest!

SnowyMouse · 15/01/2015 19:17

Chamber of secrets. I love beans, has anyone tried the mixed ones from heinz? here

CaulkheadUpNorth · 15/01/2015 19:18

Whatever.

I'm on the CofE payroll. I have a direct link to Mary or whoever makes decisions. Probably the queen.

I will rule the world and I will ban them.

Enpoid · 15/01/2015 19:19

Chamber of Secrets is one of the best ones IMO - nice length, and more settled into the characters than the first one. It was the first one I read IIRC too, when I was a kid and the HP books were almost never on the shelf in the school library.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 15/01/2015 19:19

(And I'll spit in your beans)

Enpoid · 15/01/2015 19:20

Quick, everyone, we've been infiltrated by the C of E's crack spies Shock

CaulkheadUpNorth · 15/01/2015 19:21

Not crack spies. Beans spies.

Enpoid · 15/01/2015 19:23

Whatever.

SnowyMouse · 15/01/2015 19:25

I'm watching New Zealand masterchef at the moment.

Grin caulk, I think you're outnumbered.

Enpoid · 15/01/2015 19:39

Is that like old format Masterchef, or is it Goes Large-style?

And has Jack Daniel's always had a screw top? I was expecting a cork Hmm

SnowyMouse · 15/01/2015 19:44

It's with them competing in pairs, more like goes large I think.

I don't know about Jack Daniels.

Mitchy1nge · 15/01/2015 19:45

oh my god how can anyone not like beans? also for some reason I thought protestants didn't believe in Mary Confused

have had a nice walk (not exactly strictly true, is a bit swirly out there) and am considering my evening meal options

OP posts:
Enpoid · 15/01/2015 19:46

I see. But no John and Gregg? Shock

Enpoid · 15/01/2015 19:48

I think Protestants believe in the Virgin Birth but not in the Immaculate Conception? Also wasn't she raised bodily to heaven in Catholicism? Which I don't think Protestants believe. But I'm not and have never been any kind of Christian so I may have the wrong end of the stick.

Millie2013 · 15/01/2015 19:49

Caulk, there used to be someone around there who used to tie a Shetland to a lamppost to graze. I once stopped the car to check it over.
Has the house got a stable, horsebox and overgrown "paddock"'at the side?, if so, it's likely the same one

Mitchy1nge · 15/01/2015 19:53

how could she have been the mother of god if she was just normal though? you can't really have the virgin birth without the immaculate conception can you

she would be the same as anyone else Confused

OP posts:
Enpoid · 15/01/2015 19:56

I see what you mean. Maybe they have the Immaculate Conception, but they just don't talk about it as much as Catholics do? Wink

CaulkheadUpNorth · 15/01/2015 19:57

"My people" low Anglicans don't make a big deal of Mary, no sending her up to heaven or anything. My church does though as it's Anglo-catholic so lots of praying and lighting candles by Mary statues but no praying to Mary and asking her to intercede and pass prayers onto god- that's the Catholics.

Still think you are all wrong and beans are the work of the devil. Anytjing in that sauce.

On other news, I have used a mentally abnormal behaviour and made my throat/oesophagus/something bleed. Idiot. Sad

SnowyMouse · 15/01/2015 19:57

No, no John and Gregg.

I'm not clear on the differences between RC and CofE either,

Mitchy1nge · 15/01/2015 19:58

I don't understand why they took so many bits out but left so much the same

why not start a whole new movement?
