It was because I was worried about depression and went to get help - I know when I get happy and energetic there's a depression coming. They got the wrong end of the stick, bunged me under the home treatment team and tried to treat the high instead Hmm

How long does this new school setting last - is it all day?

Mitchy1nge · 07/01/2015 14:15

equally though sorry if am irritating

Mmm, omelette Grin

Enpoid · 07/01/2015 14:17

You're not irritating at all. At least, not to me - I can't speak for the rest of the world Grin

I have to go to a tai chi session now and have only just recovered from gentle bimblings at the gym. I hate colds Angry

Mitchy1nge · 07/01/2015 14:19

it is a whole day of school, yes!

fucking bliss - and there is a taxi to ferry her there and back although much trauma this morning because nobody can ever ever ever find the tiny lane we live in and even fewer are prepared to drive down it (2 way, about the width of a small car although I can reverse a land rover of any size the whole way [smug]) but she got there and who knows when she will be back? my life will be revolutionised if she can keep it up!

enjoy tai chi! always makes me think of last admission, they were obsessed with everyone doing it every day Hmm

am going to eat The Omelette while pulling faces at creepy dr Christian and his new dodgier than ever show

Enjoy the omelette. I've just watched that program, not surprised by the 'winner'.

Enpoid · 07/01/2015 15:45

The instructor didn't turn up - maybe he forgot, or is ill. He's a volunteer so it would be churlish to be upset Smile and I enjoyed it anyway; chatted to some people I know from hospital, and other people who, it turns out, know Mavis (a slightly unusual friend of mine, for anyone unfamiliar with her). Lots of people seem to find her really hard work, which she is, but she's lovely, really she is.

I saw the listings for that programme but didn't watch it - I prefer Dr Christian on Twitter Grin

How can I attempt to be Mentally Normally and hold down a job when today's post bought MORE referrals and letters of appointments so much so that I think I spend more time talking about myself than actually being myself. Ffs.

Enpoid · 07/01/2015 17:59

Feels like a fulltime occupation, sometimes, Caulk. ConfusedHmm

Enpoid · 07/01/2015 18:02

Accidentally bought new shoes in town. Well, sort of bought. More, realised I'd left my debit card out of my wallet and got DP to pay for them for me Blush

They're fluffy inside.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 07/01/2015 18:02

Yep. Problem is I HAVE a full time occupation already which thankfully I can do flexibly but it is too tiring to do both and therefore I become more abnormal. Here.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 07/01/2015 18:03

New shoes are much more exciting than referral to new services. Grin

Enpoid · 07/01/2015 18:04

Trouble is, they've got this spotting on the toebox that I thought was a design feature, but when I looked them up online the Internet is full of people complaining about them spotting in the rain and getting refunds. So I might have bought someone else's damaged returns Shock

CaulkheadUpNorth · 07/01/2015 18:06

So you like the spotting? Because if you do then it's fine.

Enpoid · 07/01/2015 18:07

This time last year I had two pairs of shoes that I could leave the house in, and one of those was for exercise. Now I have loads. Mental abnormality has been good for my shoe collection, if nothing else Grin

Good luck getting all your appointments sorted. I had a letter today telling me to make one for retinopathy screening - I thought I'd just had one Hmm

Enpoid · 07/01/2015 18:09

Yeah, I think spotty is okay. I'm just hoping nobody else is going to be looking at my feet and thinking, "What's she wearing those for? They're wrecked!" Grin

CaulkheadUpNorth · 07/01/2015 18:09

Swap retinopathy for eating disorders?

Enpoid · 07/01/2015 18:19

Nah, you're alright, thanks, but you can have ASD if you like?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 07/01/2015 18:20

Ok. Want to talk to the rape counsellor? Tbf she talks a lot so you just have to agree with her.

Enpoid · 07/01/2015 18:22

Am actually surprised I haven't been diagnosed with an eating disorder after the inpatient debacle Hmm

Enpoid · 07/01/2015 18:23

Hmm, rape counsellor sounds difficult, you can keep that one SadFlowers

CaulkheadUpNorth · 07/01/2015 18:23

It's taken 15 years for me to have a referral. Just wait in line and they'll contact you in due course.

Enpoid · 07/01/2015 18:24

For ED, you mean?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 07/01/2015 18:25

Yes. Although I've lived in three counties during that time, so maybe my letter just got lost in the post...
