Remind me never to go missing again.

Mitchy1nge · 12/11/2014 12:27

I am having lunch in a minute, I bought bread and am making cheese on toast - exciting times, literally

you need to find the paediatric one, it says 'choose your POO!' in happy lettering and the poos are all food except type 1, rabbit droppings

their chav poo is called 'porridge' which is a bit off-putting as I like lots of cinnamon in mine

I may never use gravy again.

They missed a trick there with type 1. Clearly that's Maltesers.

Mitchy1nge · 12/11/2014 12:34

yay!

well those are both on my keyring now thanks to 'the prince of diarrhoea' as he was once known in Barnet and Chase Farm hospitals

Mitchy1nge · 12/11/2014 12:38

nah, not maltesers, maltesers are big

mad cancerous friend does rabbit droppings during pesach thanks to weird jewish dietary laws and think they are tiny, more like cocopops

I didn't sleep that badly, considering. I tend to wake up a lot, but I don't remember being up too much, or for too long.

I did wake up with a really bad dizziness, though, and a fuzzy-head. It's not usually a symptom of mine like that.

That "Choose your POO!" thing is hilarious. Although I may never be able to eat any of those foods again...

Mitchy1nge · 12/11/2014 12:53

do you think the key fob versions would make good stocking fillers? I'd love to get some more, they are made by Norgine and are double sided so one side just has big pics of poo and the other has descriptions and dose guidance

InfinitySeven · 12/11/2014 14:27

I love my shower. It's set up to the perfect temperature and everything...I don't think I'd survive without it! Is yours fixable, Mitchy?

I didn't do a shop this week. I usually sort it on Sunday, and it comes on Monday. I'm not sure why I didn't. It just didn't work. Now we are almost out of food. I meant to order it last night, but I couldn't do it. Today I need to go and get some milk and things for DP. He could go when he gets home, but it'll be 8/9pm by then, and I'd rather spend the time with him, anyway.

Worried about leaving little reptile, and the vet hasn't called back yet. But I guess I should just go. It's only 20 minutes away, the walk will probably do me good.

EnpoTree · 12/11/2014 15:38

Ah, sweet coffee shop WiFi.

I don't have a shower at all. The doctor DP saw for his ?psoriasis was not impressed.

Psychiatrist still refuses to be drawn on what exactly is wrong with me, but they did say they I'll probably only be with CMHT for a short time. Then they said that a short time meant "only" six months Sad I'm not even that unwell.

I'm sure your gecko will be okay for twenty minutes while you nip out, Infinity

EnpoTree · 12/11/2014 15:41

I also dropped the liquorice root I was chewing on the consulting room floor and accidentally snapped, "Don't touch that!" to the poor psych when he picked it up - was trying to save him from nasty chewed stick which he thought was a pencil but may have presented as bossy and possessive Sad

Mentalpsychiatrist · 12/11/2014 15:43

Get any good meds?

EnpoTree · 12/11/2014 15:49

More pregabalin Sad

No uppers, no downers, and definitely no sidewaysers.

And four tubes of blood out of my arm.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 12/11/2014 16:04

At least you didn't have to go to the hospital for bloods. I have to and it's a frigging nightmare.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 12/11/2014 16:04

I am officially on holiday Smile

EnpoTree · 12/11/2014 16:04

No, just down the corridor.

EnpoTree · 12/11/2014 16:05

Hooray! New York, here you come Smile

Mentalpsychiatrist · 12/11/2014 16:06

Packing to be done first. Have an early start tomorrow to get to Heathrow.

InfinitySeven · 12/11/2014 16:10

Wahey, enjoy New York, MP.

The duty psychiatrist called. She was nice. She said I have an appointment on 1st Dec, and that my psychiatrist has been changed, but is nicer. She asked if there was anything they could do. I couldn't speak. She said she'd see me on the 1st.

Didn't go out, it rained. Now gecko is unhappy. Called the new recommended vet, but he can't call me back until 5pm. It's probably too far away to get to before closing after that. Called his vet, they told me to take him in as an emergency, but they didn't seem to know what might be wrong, and I can't get there without DP and the car. Taxis won't move live animals. DP is in London, so it'll be a good few hours before he's home.

Trying to stay calm and focused. I am okay.

Enpo What's the pregabalin for? I used to take that.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 12/11/2014 16:24

Sorry to hear about your unhappy gecko Infinity but good news that you got a psych appointment.

EnpoTree · 12/11/2014 17:45

I've been given the pregabalin for anxiety, Infy - apparently I seemed very anxious last week and for some reason they decided on pregabalin. And the anxiety has subsided a bit, but TBH I'm not convinced it's the pregabalin doing it - I think it's a combination of it getting better by itself and some sort of placebo effect, cause I've only been taking it for a few days.

It sounds like you're really a bit stuck with your situation with your poor poorly gecko Sad Transport issues are such a massive PITA. Given the time now I'm guessing this is into OOH vets which can get very expensive. Perhaps you can sort something out tomorrow, and plan some sort of transport? I didn't know taxis wouldn't take live animals though, what a nuisance.

Glad you've sorted out the psych situation - massive kudos for getting through the phone conversation. I know you said you couldn't speak but it's an achievement staying on the phone when you're experiencing that level of stress. Three cheers for Infinity Smile

EnpoTree · 12/11/2014 17:52

How was the PT, Mitch? And did you ever get your cheese on toast?!
