I think that covers us all?

I just have a mental disorder of starving myself being an idiot

Also shoot for sub-1350kcal net intake (accounting for exercise) - I should be staying below 500kcal to attempt to reverse fatty liver and diabetes but I can't function below 1200kcal because of migraines.

My diabetes nurse thinks I'm bonkers but she can't quibble with my results though she does look askance at my logs, spreadsheets and graphs.

Mitchy1nge · 11/11/2014 20:57

that diet sounds very challenging

am glad I looked at stats, although the net cal thing is misleading - it synchronises with garmin and am not sure if it alters the calories used up in runs or sticks with what garmin says (prob more accurate)

OP posts:
Mitchy1nge · 11/11/2014 20:58

I have lived on under 500 cals a day

it's not something would wish on worst enemy for any length of time

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 20:59

I've been a mess in the last two weeks due to smoking - 500kcal a day over goal and a grand total of 28% Shock calories from carbs Blush

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 21:00

Starving yourself sounds hard.

Mitchy1nge · 11/11/2014 21:01

it's hard to get out of

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 21:02

Mine imports from Strava and accepts Strava's calorie estimate, but I always reinput the minutes so it uses its own algorithm which is a lower calorie burn.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 21:03

Yes, I should probably shut up about food as it's likely to be unhelpful to you. I have to be rigid about food because of the physical stuff but I shouldn't inflict it on others. I'm sorry.

Mitchy1nge · 11/11/2014 21:07

is ok, I looooove this stuff

I use the weight loss chat as a sort of pro-ana inspirational read but that's not healthy (seriously, I don't get the need for special thinspo/proana sites when MFP and mainstream dieting boards give you everything you need to keep your bad behaviours alive Grin)

am sorting self out, am well past worst of last blip, running is my saviour because the more I eat the more and better I can run

I find this person hugely inspiring, is a friend of my ultra-running friend, and used running to overcome either anorexia (purging type I think) or bulimia

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 21:08

Still thinking of you Infinity, if you're reading.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 21:10

Thanks for the link Mitch. She looks like an amazing person.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 11/11/2014 21:13

I have absolutely no idea what my calorie intake is although today the bull of my calories probably came from malted milks.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 21:14

I'm horribly fat and tend to overeat when depressed, so thinspo never worked for me except when I fancied some hopeless self-loathing and subsequent falling-into-a-bag-of-Doritos.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 21:15

Please tell me they had little pictures of cows on them?

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 21:16

My diabetes nurse talks to me about carb counting with actual rich tea biscuits hanging out of her mouth Grin I suspect she is a sadist.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 11/11/2014 21:16

They did!

Mitchy1nge · 11/11/2014 21:24

quick emergency poll

are these worth the £££ and anyway which colour?

they glow in the dark!

my v similar striped ones seem insupportably drab in comparison

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 21:25

Hooray. The mini cows are the best thing about malted milks.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 21:25

Gosh. If you have the legs and the money, go for it.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 11/11/2014 21:26

Yes, I'd go for the black or grey (because I fear colour)

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 21:26

And purple. Always purple.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 21:28

I get jealous of people who say they look like parsnips in skinny jeans, as I look more like celeriac, so I certainly won't be buying running tights that scream "look at my legs!" any time soon, but as you said you have fantastic legs, then why not?

Mitchy1nge · 11/11/2014 21:31

I've got horrible short legs! my limbs always look boxy, was just a trick of the light in the glossy gym door reflection that ONE TIME

but am sure they will always look like that whether am under or over or healthy weight, is nothing that can be done about it

am thinking space blue or purple

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 21:33

Your reflection caught you unawares and was able to bypass your "Mitchy has terrible legs" distortion field.

Definitely purple. Everything that can be purple should be purple.
