Here, have a baby Nembutal ad.

purple would be good with my orange jacket and our club colours (yellow and black)

but then so would the blue

but mp also makes good point about the classic black

is lucky I can't really afford them or this indecision could be stressful and exacerbate my manic depression

Mitchy1nge · 11/11/2014 21:38

heh I LOVE the old ads

especially chlorpromazine (thorazine) they remind me a lot of the many many uses quetiapine has found for itself

is not a distorted perception thing, my inside leg measurement is barely 29" yet am practically 5'4 (1.6m) so have weird short limbs and long torso

I'm going to have to go to bed again. It's not normal to be this tired.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 21:42

My mum is shaped like that. I'm five inches taller than she is but we're the same height seated. The difference is all in the lower leg. Try East Asian clothing brands; I think that body shape is more common in that part of the world. Clothes aren't cut well for the long of back and are unflattering - it's not that your shape is bad, it's that your clothes are cut wrong.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 21:43

Goodnight Mp - hope you shake the tiredness before your holiday.

Mitchy1nge · 11/11/2014 21:43

:( hope is a refreshing sleep mp, maybe your trip will revive you?

will be in bed soon too

Dunno why it capitalised East.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 22:08

I think 29" is normal for 5'4" though? I'm just over 5'6" and only 30" inside leg at a push, and as I said I'm much longer in the leg and shorter in the back than my mum.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 22:12

I'm doing that by actual measurement with a tape measure, though - a lot of people wear jeans with a much longer stated inseam, partly I suspect because of vanity sizing, and partly because if you wear high heels you need a longer inseam than your actual inside leg. So women's jeans are always ridiculously long on me because I only wear flat shoes and they're cut expecting a heel.

Sorry, didn't mean to disappear. Got my reptile out for his meds. He's getting worse. I think he's dying and if I'm honest, I don't know what I'll do without him. He is everything.

I'll get him to a vet again tomorrow, somehow, but so far they've been clueless.

Sweet dreams MP

I have no idea what my inside leg measurement is...

Mitchy1nge · 11/11/2014 22:16

ah is that true?

am not really 5'4, am 160cm which comes up a bit shorter but 5'4 sounds right to me

physio measured from hip to foot and legs were 85cm (checking for any discrepancy that might account for why I tend to run using mainly one leg)

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 22:18

Hi Infinity Smile Been hoping you were feeling okay.

What's wrong with your reptile? Sad What type is he? I hope he's okay.

Mitchy1nge · 11/11/2014 22:18

:( sorry your reptile isn't getting better infinity Flowers it is so painful to lose a pet xxx

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 22:20

This clothes manufacturer seems to think 29" is an average inside leg for someone 5'2" to 5'4" (and 30" for 5'5"-5'7", which is me).

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 22:24

That size chart does just say "adult", though, so I suppose it includes men, too, who have shorter legs than women, I think? So maybe we are both short-legged Grin

Mitchy1nge · 11/11/2014 22:35

have always believed am a mutant

this is a revelation!

why are sleeves and legs always so LONG then? I like long sleeves but am always standing in a puddle of excess fabric Confused

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 22:41

Fuck only knows. I used to assume that the leg thing was because I never wear heels, but here's a pic I took of me in a shirt I bought online a few weeks ago as part of a campaign to buy one of every manufacturer's version of a long-sleeved ladies' t-shirt.

You can't even see my fingertips.

Perhaps clothing manufacturers are under the impression their customer base is primarily orangutans?

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 22:43

Least flattering photo ever.

Mitchy1nge · 11/11/2014 22:44

that's such a lovely colour

so it's not me at all, it's the clothes

hooray for my limbs!

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 22:45

Bright red is one of my favourites too Grin

Mitchy1nge · 11/11/2014 22:48

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 22:50

I am fat. 5'6, currently 11 stone 2 and a half, stark naked, first thing in the morning, and post-wee Grin
