I think that covers us all?

Ankle is walkable on, but hot and painful, especially if I don't have it in quite the right position. How incredibly irritating.

New York - super exciting Grin I hope it's brilliant. Well, I know it's probably not super exciting if you've been before, though, but it sounds like it'll be a real complete break from the day-to-day stuff here.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 11/11/2014 18:50

Sounds like a nasty injury, keep it up.

I'm very excited about NYC being a complete break. We have agreed that there'll be no talk of psychiatry (unless the time change sends me mad) or teeth for the duration. I've already booked us a couple if restaurants and we're staying in a v nice hotel. Woot.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 18:51

Woot indeed.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 18:53

I've just found out they've bunged another letter on ICE RICE - apparently I'm now out of date and you're supposed to do PRICE - Protect, Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation. Sigh.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 18:55

Teeth talk can be interesting. But perhaps not on holiday.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 11/11/2014 18:57

Much as I love DP the threshold for how much teeth talk I can take is very, very low.

I didn't know about the P. It's true, you do learn something new every day.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 19:01

They do say you learn something new every day, that's true. They never promise that you'll learn something interesting every day, though.

I don't know why people ever fuck with a good mnemonic.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 19:04

At least teeth are more interesting than software engineering.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 11/11/2014 19:07

That's true. I am gleefully free of any knowledge of software engineering.

Can't be arsed to cook this evening and it's like mother hubbard's cupboard anyway so chippy it is.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 19:10

We were going to have a curry but I've buggered that up by injuring myself, so we're having pakora instead.

What are you getting at the chippy? If it's anything other than haddock, chips, mushy peas and a floury breadcake, you're doing it wrong.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 11/11/2014 19:12

Cod, chips, onion rings, picked onions. I am clearly a wronger.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 19:17

Hmm... you may have swayed me. Everything except the pickled onions. Horrible little acidballs.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 19:17

Hang on, onion rings and pickled onions?

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 19:18

Hope it's good anyway.

I'm hoping DP has made some raita to go with the pakora.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 11/11/2014 19:25

I like onions

I won the argument, DP has gone out in the rain to get it.

What type of pakoras are you having?

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 19:28

Onion Grin

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 19:32

Suppose I should call them bhajji, really, if they're onion ones.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 11/11/2014 19:33

Call them what you like, I bet they'll be lovely.

Why am I so bloody tired? Had 9 hours sleep last night and am exhausted again.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 19:36

Could be the pitiful lack of natural light at this time of year?

Mentalpsychiatrist · 11/11/2014 19:38

Perhaps. I should try and take a lunch break to get some air and light. My office is very badly lit and most of the consulting rooms are gloomy too.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 19:53

It can't hurt, I suppose, if you can manage a lunch break.

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 19:54

Are you still about, Infinity? Hoping you're doing okay and will sleep well tonight.

Mitchy1nge · 11/11/2014 19:56

have returned from running club and the aubergines, courgettes, red onions and cherry tomatoes are baking in the oven with bits of nasty fat-reduced pretend feta

because my watch said had achieved fastest mile this year (8:10) went fucking mental and sprayed 4 blasts of olive oil on the concoction but have uploaded activity and watch was lying

WHY?

HURRY UP FOOD anyway

Sounds good Mitch.

Have just troughed my way through half a dozen large onion bhajjis and a load of carrot and mint raita Blush

EnpoTree · 11/11/2014 20:01

I've just realised; it's probably the bloody pregabalin that made me slip. I've been clumsy since I started taking it.
