I think that covers us all?

I actually don't know anything about cats. I'm basically thinking of rats and scaling it up.

EnpoTree · 10/11/2014 20:10

I know they're obligate carnivores, but I also know they used to eat grass and vomit on my patio.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 10/11/2014 20:10

My Gladys is a fussy little minx who'd definitely turn her nose up at stir fry. She's a Purina girl.

Mitchy1nge · 10/11/2014 20:13

James Wellbeloved: Fish

they will sometimes help themselves to other things but not stuff like this with ginger and star anise and plum and shit

(am giving up!)

I trust you made a valiant effort which is all that counts.

Mitchy1nge · 10/11/2014 20:15

it went cold really quickly

how was lasagne? What are you having enpo?

OP posts:
Mentalpsychiatrist · 10/11/2014 20:16

The lasagne was lovely. DP makes a great bolognaise sauce with plenty of red wine in it. I'm stuffed.

EnpoTree · 10/11/2014 20:16

Apparently, the veal mince has become pie and not burgers. And he forgot the salt. I am trying not to be disappointed.

EnpoTree · 10/11/2014 20:18

I once ate a bolognese I thought was safe while on phenelzine. I think there was half a bottle of red wine in my bowl. That was an interesting evening Grin

Mitchy1nge · 10/11/2014 20:20

I bet you are a nice psychiatrist, better attitude than have come to expect - effort IS what counts.

OP posts:
Mentalpsychiatrist · 10/11/2014 20:23

I think I'm quite nice although I'm sure some of my patients think I 'm the devil incarnate Confused

EnpoTree · 10/11/2014 20:24

Isn't that a bit dispiriting?

EnpoTree · 10/11/2014 20:25

Ah, veal pie ahoy.

Mitchy1nge · 10/11/2014 20:27

would you welcome a system in which patients were invited to evaluate your professionalism (as happens to Some People in other parts of the world)?

is a bit unfair if they are just drug seeking, I would rate mine very critically if I asked for something reasonable and was refused

OP posts:
Mentalpsychiatrist · 10/11/2014 20:27

It was a bit dispiriting when I started out but not any more. I'm not always there to be liked. Sometimes I have to make hard decisions in the best interest of my patient.

Mitchy1nge · 10/11/2014 20:28

nobody seems to know what is even meant by professionalism so is hilarious really

Mentalpsychiatrist · 10/11/2014 20:28

Patients do evaluate my performance. I went through that exercise organised by the trust earlier this year. The results were very interesting.

Mitchy1nge · 10/11/2014 20:31

I would put something like 2/10 would not bang (if offered olanzapine)

or 10/10 have callous on clitoris from merely thinking about him (the wonderful short lived joy of reboxetine)

EnpoTree · 10/11/2014 20:32

I wonder what my chances of getting modafinil are.

Mitchy1nge · 10/11/2014 20:33

is it too early to go to bed?

am addicted to going to bed

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 10/11/2014 20:33

Or phenelzine. Or both.

EnpoTree · 10/11/2014 20:34

It seems a tad early but I suppose it depends what you plan to do in there.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 10/11/2014 20:34

Phenolzine much more likely than modafinil I would imagine.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 10/11/2014 20:35

Phenelzine, sorry for typo.

EnpoTree · 10/11/2014 20:35

Ten points for anyone who guesses the vegetable DP had chosen to serve with hot filo-pastry-covered veal mince pie.
