Basically I have to take bloody diazepam three times a day and be visited by HTT every day and even then the nurse reckons it's 50/50 if I'll need to go into hospital or not. This has gone too far. I'm absobloodylutely sodding fine and visited the drop-in as I was worried I was going to become not-fine and wanted to know how to stop DP worrying unnecessarily after having spoken to CMHT as I was referred from GP as I wanted to avoid becoming depressed and how to maintain my current good humour and general sparkling and effervescent nature. The lesson apparently being that being responsible and proactive with your mental health gets you accused of poor insight and told to take drugs on pain of hospital admission.

She's really fucking scared me. I will not go into hospital. So to avoid it I have to swallow pills that make me slow and stupid and sleepy even though I am totally happy with the way I am now and it's everyone else who doesn't like it. Maybe its everyone else who needs bloody medicating.

I hate this so much. I know its a bad idea to get involved in MH services. So why do I ever go back?

yeah I can, there is a meet at least once right where we are so that helps (I don't have transport of my own)

I can borrow one so steady and sedate it is possible to get bored even while hunting. Weirdly though he doesn't jump ditches, I don't know why but he slides down into them and scrambles up the other side Grin

I had a birthday recently and didn't much like the age I turned Sad

Mitchy1nge · 02/11/2014 19:03

I genuinely AM ancient and decrepit but happy that I will always have immaturity on my side for that youthful glow

Mentalpsychiatrist · 02/11/2014 19:03

No, I wouldn't push the very lovely Charlotte out of me bed.

EnpoTree · 02/11/2014 19:05

Oh I'm not some kind of vegan hunt saboteur. Fine with shooting and fishing. It's just hunting with hounds, hare coursing, badger baiting, rabbitting with ferrets, bullfighting, feeding pet snakes live mice, that kind of thing that makes me queasy. The "Let's all ride on a mad dash through the countryside" part seems fun tho Grin

OP posts:
Mitchy1nge · 02/11/2014 19:06

well obviously we hunt with hounds

would be a bit shit without them!

Mitchy1nge · 02/11/2014 19:07

but it's just pretend hunting really, a fake scent, you know the sort of thing

Mentalpsychiatrist · 02/11/2014 19:09

I wish all the fireworks would stop. This time of year is rather worrying for those us that live in thatched housesConfused

EnpoTree · 02/11/2014 19:10

Yeah drag hunting?

I didn't mean its the hounds specifically I have a problem with; it's hunting actual animals with hounds that bothers me. Buy also NOMB I guess.

(but last night the public display fireworks on acid were SO NICE to look at, actually the moon was amazing by itself, it was possibly a mistake to be out and in contact with the wider world in that state, not ideal)

Mitchy1nge · 02/11/2014 19:13

you wouldn't be if you met me and my chaos, I promise!

Mentalpsychiatrist · 02/11/2014 19:13

I do love fireworks to look at, just far away from my house.

EnpoTree · 02/11/2014 19:14

I need to find out how to get hold of LSD. It would be a great 60th birthday present for my parents.

EnpoTree · 02/11/2014 19:25

Now that they're retired it's actually totally feasible and would probably be great for our relationship. DP would be happy to stay sober for safety's sake. Fuck yes. I need to do this!

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 02/11/2014 19:27

Well, I mean if we all took it together. I suppose they might prefer to take it without me.

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 02/11/2014 19:31

I hope it's not too expensive.

OP posts:
EnpoTree · 02/11/2014 19:32

I love chaotic people.

EnpoTree · 02/11/2014 19:33

Wow, this thread is almost full and it's mostly me. I had no idea I was so verbose.

You'd love my house then. Two scatty, chaotic people making a big mess together.

The cold Wellington was excellent by the way.
