time to get back into fasting and ignore it’s the summer holidays!

Hello again. Wow @Bubbles44 i don’t know how u fast so long amazing!!!!!! It’s a great way to stop those pesky snack calories getting in in the day!!! I literally would eat my hand off I get so hangry now I’m past 40. I used to manage 900 cals before but now 1200 is the best I can do!

so luckily we staying with family . I do have. A lot of fun plans though some involve eating and drinks etc. coffee/cake. I can’t eat what I want all week and not get seriously fat!!!! So my plan is

  • lots of gym. I should manage nearly every day tbh. Minimum 5 sessions
  • 10000 steps this will be easy as in a city and lots to walk about weather good
  • only drinking sunday (only 1/2) , Wednesday and sat (heavier night). These nights I have dinners etc planned . I may allow a cocktail on Friday with friends
  • just really strict in day - no mindless eating so I can enjoy the dinner : drinks : cafe,
  • log in here daily!!!!
  • don’t go into f it mode. But enjoy mindfully !

Braved the scale
im 9.13. Kinda expected that after my weekend. Not been back at 9.10 in so long.

anyways I have 3 days before I go . I need to see 9.11.5 - 9.12. Think it’s possible as prob still have some bloat on me. Will try push carbs down! And doing extra cardio!

Sounds a great plan @Smartmove I think exercise is key as it helps mindset and sounds like you'll do lots of that.

My main plan is to fast until lunch and stop as soon as I've had dinner. Sweet treats will be my downfall but will not go crazy as I can't stand coming home a dealing with how rubbish I feel. Really going to try and think about my future self!

I never usually close as early as I did yesterday but could feel hunger so stopped eating and went to the gym. No hunger when I came home.

Yes @Bubbles44 sept/oct is operation get back to 9.10 I felt good there and far enough away from ten stone where I feel bloated !

I feel like over had a bit much. Although not loads just some crackers so feel bad. But will go the gym this evening and try work it off!

nesrly gave it tonight but stayed strong and still fasting. I’ve gone over my cals today so really couldn’t afford to. I’m just hoping the run burned some off to take me below maintence!

hi girls
prob looking at another 1500/1600 today . So another maintence day! It’s AF time and I’m hungry but trying hard to fight it with a few extra cals that I would like. But suppose it’s better than a a hinge!

I should work out today as don’t no steps but really not feeling like doing it!!!!

Can I join in please? I’ve had a mad summer lots of eating and even more drinking has seen me hit 11 stone 12 🤦‍♀️ last time I was that size was 17 years ago overdue with my fifth child 🤣🤣

anyway. Since last week I have been doing 16:8 (ish) also cut out beer chocolate and crisps. Today I am 11 stone 8 so getting there slowly.

@WorthySloth pleaee join! I got to goal 9.10 and then this summer has seen me drink and eat too much too! I’m currently hovering about 9.13 and trying to back down but suspect it will sept to it as again away next week!

Well done for the initial loss! Do u excercise too? Are u new to fasting?

I fasted before ages ago and got decent results tbh just got out of the habit. Today I accidentally did a 21 hour fast 🤣🤣 won’t eat again now until tomorrow after lunch I expect.

it’s easy to fast when I’m at work because I don’t have time to eat. At home temptation is in my way 🤣🤣 but I’m ignoring biscuits sweet stuff in general and I’ve cut down my crisp habit. I tend to drink either water or green tea apart from when I’m out when it’s generally guiness 🤣🤣

need to get back in to exercise but one thing at a time I think 😊 would like to be closer to 10 stone than 11 but tbh as long as I can lose a bit and not put more on I’ll be ok

Hello @WorthySloth 👋 sounds like you are on a good run at the moment well done! What sort of exercise are you thinking about getting into? Im like you, At work can fast all day although days at home I struggle to get past 11.
My low seems to be 9.9, so always striving to get there, but always seem to bounce around 9.12/10 at the moment.Determined to get back down in September!

I tend to run 30 mins in the week @Smartmove and longer at the weekend if I have time. My favourite thing is running with a friend. Meeting really early, chatting and gentle run. Sets you up for the day and doesn't feel hard!

My day hasn't been great. I've been stress eating biscuits. I have been to the gym and for a run and didn't go crazy so not a total disaster but feel bloated and not what I'd have wanted the day before holiday!

Probably won't weigh tomorrow as don't want to see the number!!

I was a runner. Very slow and sociable 😁 got out of routine and really need to get back to it. I have a treadmill so absolutely no excuses. Also have an exercise bike and weights at home but I need to get into a decent routine and it’s been hard with work

@WorthySloth i would start slow and maybe just two 2 days a week u can make 20 mins for urself. And then build it up. I’ve never exercised before but this is the first time in my life I’ve kept it up . I do CG on YouTube and have seen muscles pop up over the year I didn’t know I had! I also have a treadmill and a pelaton at home so throw those into the mix. I’m not some ultra fit person though but I’m better than I was last year!

im 9.12.2 today. So by tmrw I will see 9.12 or below. I have an ultra low carb day planned will weigh tmrw as crabs been high in lead to af which has now arrived

@Bubbles44 im sorry. It’s ok just go away and enjoy. The odd pound is just in our head I’m sure u look fab! When r u back

I was 11 7 this morning. At work and going to try to get one of the clients to do a walk with me today 😊 if not at least I won’t be eating much 🤣🤣

migh restart c25k on the treadmill on my days off.

Got a decent walk in sitting by the sea and just had a Coke Zero. Not classing that as breaking my fast because it has zero calories. I know it’s not ideal but I usually drink water or green tea and I really fancied a coke

im also thinking of aiming to 5k - I did 4 yest but I got bored if I go faster I think I could do 5 will attempt next week.

workout done
should end on 1300 and 50g carbs which is lower than 100g I’ve had this week but I was aiming for even lower but couldn’t resit some choc and kids icecream post lunch! I did 15 hours fast

Just broken my fast at 21 ish hours. Eating lunch then will start again. Tomorrow will be totally different as I am off work 😁

Hello ladies and welcome @WorthySloth

I am around the 11 stone mark and want to get to 10:9 as a starter and push from there but honestly that gap between 11 stone (or a bit over) and 10:9 just feels massive at the moment.

I have my gym membership but haven’t been using it consistently for months. I had been running a couple of times per week but that has also fallen off. My plan is to run 2-3 times per week until the end of September and then revert to the gym when the weather and darkness starts setting in.

Food is all over the place which is why I am not currently losing and putting on, albeit not too much.

Once the summer holidays are over I’ll try to just have lunch and dinner in an 8 hour eating window. Roll on the next two weeks and hopefully I won’t do too much more damage between now and then!

I weigh the same! I shouldn’t have weighed yest as I ended up 1700 thinking I was doing ok! I would have dropped a mini bit otherwise

anyways going to enjoy the week mindfully lots of steps etc will weigh myself every few days I know it’s going to go up!

@Bubbles44 have a good time. We can both hit sept with a new energy. I need to get back to 9.10 by end of Sept then maintain that!

Biccies isn’t a problem. Going out on the beer this afternoon will be 🤣🤣

wont go too mad. And I know the pub will be rammed… bank holiday weekend on the coast in North Devon. So getting to the bar will be challenging which will cut down what I’m drinking naturally.
