Ended up having a bit of a shit day at work with a visit to a&e with a badly cut hand just to finish things off nicely. So I had a cup of tea and a toffee crisp when I got home and now I’ve taken myself to bed.

other than that I’ve been doing ok so I don’t think it will be too bad.

Weighed in this morning and lost again. In six weeks I’ve lost 9.5lb so I’m happy with my progress. Heading towards 10’s on the scale which is my initial aim.

Well done @WorthySlothHow far away are you from the 10’s? What does a day of food look like for you?

I weighed yesterday 11:0:3 so the aim is to be in the 10’s by Friday. Doesn’t sound hard but it really has been for me lately!

I am having a rest week with exercise this week. My body is tired so recovery for me and then start back at the gym early October.

Back up this morning but not too bad. Currently at 11.4 seem to be averaging 1/2lb a week loss which works for me.

away next week so it’ll go up again although I might keep off the guiness. Probably won’t tho 🤣🤣

im ok i had a terrible weekend again! Af came and I just ate a whole tub of icecream and some cake! Terribly bloated this week but feeling a bit better this am. I’ll take a maintain if that happens on Friday weigh in - I was 9.12 last 2 weeks ago and wanted to be 9.10 but that seems impossible !!!

9:12 is great and 9:10 would be fabulous. You’ve done so well at maintenance since getting into the 9’s.

11:0:3 this morning - I may weigh every day this week. I’m a sucker for a regular weigh!!!

This morning I was 11:2.6 so I’m happy with that. Working today which restricts what I eat naturally then again tomorrow so hopefully that will mitigate my weekend that’s coming up 🤣🤣

Hello, all ok here. Staying around 9.13 at the moment but having excessive weekends which I'm working on. Work is pretty stressful at the moment and definitely feeling like I need a sweet treat at the weekend to relax!!

Well done on your consistent loses @WorthySloth great work! What's keeping you motivated?

@Smartmove weekend are impossible aren't they! How long have you gone without weighing yourself? Does it help at all?

@hollyblueivy really hope you see a 10 tomorrow or Friday. Are you doing the clean fast now?

I’ve not weighed in 12 days. I switch when I weigh daily I say to mysrlf

no no I shouldn’t do it this often I end up self sabotaging if things go down or give up if they static

then I take a break from weighing and worry I’m eating too much and I’ll get a nasty surprise tmrw!

Just weighed in at 11:1.6 😁 I’ve lost just over 11lb since I started. TBH my brother is down so we will be going out for food today and tomorrow and I’m possibly out Sunday as well so it’ll go back up 🤷‍♀️ then I’m working Monday Tuesday Wednesday next week which will bring it down again and then I’m away for 3 nights 🤣🤣

I’m going to be up and down the next couple of weeks but I’m grateful that the weight has come off so that I’m not starting at my heaviest if that makes sense? Keep telling myself it’s a marathon not a sprint and that I definitely feel better for losing a bit of chub.

hopefully starting some regular exercise after my nights away which will help.

im a bit with this up and down too! I’m just glad that my summer weight is falling off rather than staying on! I bounced to over 10 at one point but feeling much better now.
still got one more to go to my lowest but think I can do it in next 2 weeks.

makes me have some leeway: clothes fit and bmi is 22 once I hit 9.10 which feels like a nice bmi I’ve no idea why! I’m Asian so need it under 23 for health as opposed to 25! I’m also much more muscled than last year due to my weight training so that’s good too

for today. I feel good :)
ask me tmrw !!!

That's great @Smartmove well done for not weighing and sticking at it and getting the loss. I need to do that I think to change things up!
I think being more or less at target is so hard as it's constantly trying to balance out treats and being sensible!
Enjoy your weekend @WorthySloth, you're so consistent with your loses, you'll be straight back to it Monday!
Run done, gym done. Got the new Jamie Oliver cook book so going to try a few new things this weekend. Need to make my dinner more exciting than a pile of roasted veg!

Tbh if I hadn’t started this I would have been well over 12 stone before long. I didn’t even hit that at 41 weeks pregnant! I don’t care if I am up and down as long as the trend is mostly down.

I’m 56 so weight doesn’t come off as easy as it did but I am feeling better for getting rid of some and my clothes are fitting better again which is a win.

@Smartmove That’s is a fab BMI. Mine is currently 27.3 and it says I need to get to 25 to be in the normal range. I was 11:0:3 yesterday I don’t know why I’m finding it so hard to get back into the 10’s!!!! I may have to calorie count. I hate counting but I think I need the awareness.

@Bubbles44 Oooh let us know if you have any winning recipes in the book!

@Bubbles44 the chicken mushroom hot pot was a winner in our house! Dunno if it’s in the book but was easy and I just had it without the gnocchi and enjoyed it! My kids loved it too.

I also totally agree it’s very hard knowing what maintence is. Some weeks I go crazy. Then I feel awful and then I’m good for a few it’s constant up and down. I don’t know how some people don’t even thinking about what they eating and just stay steady? I suspect it’s a lifetime of this causing the issue! But finally after meant years I have got to a weight I’m ok with it. I have a lot of flab and 2 kids later and being peri is not helping though!

I’ve put a fair bit on this weekend… too much food and alcohol. 3 days at work which will get rid of some of that then away Thursday to Sunday which will be a gain again. Oh well it’s a bit up and down but that’s better than being all up isn’t it?

Morning!

post weekend weigh is 11:1:2 so that’s a gain. I had my half marathon this weekend so have been heavy on the carbs, then celebrated with beers and a takeaway after. No regrets whatsoever.

Now the running is out the way, which was also making me hungry, I am hoping to get back into the gym and focus on lifting weights and getting my diet back on track.

Aim to be in the 10’s by Friday.

I’ve up 4 pounds!!! Oops :/ hoping mostly water weight. On plan for a good 2 weeks. I need to find moderation in my weekends!!!

Yay thats great @hollyblueivy well done! Did it all go to plan? Fab achievement! When I did my half marathon a few years back I put weight on. So hard having to eat carbs and plan food. Wrongly assumed weight would drop off. But it's definitely one of my proudest achievements! Well done!

I haven't weighed for a week or so. I reckon I'll be about 10ish. Just really all in or all out at the moment. Good week planned though so keep going!

Have you had a good day back on plan @Smartmove? Hope not too hard!
