This is the new thread to discuss us using fasting to get to our goal weight. Believe it or not but this is the third thread with the first from around 18 months ago!

No I am not at goal yet. I dare not look at what I weighed then as there is a good chance I'm about the same weight now having recently put back on!

Anyway. Now is the time to keep going. To allow for a bit on over Christmas and get a head start for the New Year. 2025 I WILL get to goal!

Anyone else is wearing to join.

My starting weight was probably 12:9 at heaviest. I'm just over 11 stone now and my goal is around 10:3.

I go away Friday to Sunday :/

so far today been good. I’ve got into my workout clothes so as soon as DH walks in I’m gonna go to my workout which I hadn’t planned and I should end on 900-1000. Need to stay strong!

9.11 again!!! Got a week to get to 9.9 not sure it will happen. Need to be strict. Think calories are sneaking in without me realising! Run done, fast until 4 and gym tonight!

9.11 too! So put on that half coz of the weekend despite being semi good Sunday Monday and really good yest Tuesday!

right really want to drop just another half a pound before I go away but this is such hard work

off to do workout!

looks like I’ll spend most of June getting to 10.10!

You’re both doing really well and you’re not too far away from the losses you want to achieve.

@SmartmoveYou are away this weekend aren’t you? Will that be a messy one, or will you be active too?

@Bubbles44 You are so close! If you can keep to roughly where you are for the next week or lose a tiny bit more, that will be a pre holiday win!

Still only walking at the moment but we have the bank
hokiday weekend coming up so I will carve out some time for myself time either run or gym. It needs to happen this weekend and going into June the plan will be to just do one workout per week.

10:10:8 today. I don’t think I’m going to get anywhere near 10:9 by Friday as I can feel that I’m not putting in the effort needed to get there. That’s ok though.

Yes even maintaining when going through all the stess is a win @hollyblueivy well done for not having all the chocolate. Hope you're ok and manage some gentle movement over the next few days!

@Smartmove I'm sure you'll be back down to 9.10 Friday morning. Honestly can't believe we are talking June. Only just about feel like I've got over the Christmas indulgence!

About 1100 cals . Wouuld have been less but I just had some choc!!! Carbs on lower end. But not low low.

9.9!!!! Honestly couldn't believe my eyes this morning. Crazy busy day yesterday which has definitely helped!
Got to keep going until next Wednesday which will be hard as finish work tomorrow so need to not go into holiday mode early!

I’m so pleased for you both, must be the long term consistency and not completely overdoing the treats. Well don’t you both deserve it and just in time too!

Im 10:10:6 today which is almost the same as yesterday but that had me confused as I went out for a two course meal and a pint yesterday so was expecting to be up. I hadn’t eaten much throughout the day so guess it must have evened out.

anyway I’m not complaining!

That's great @Smartmove well done! Is this the lowest you've been? Maintenance now? Always comes when a nice weekend planned!! Enjoy it though and know that you'll get back there.

Well done @hollyblueivy for remaining so consistent even when things are tough. Hope your week is going ok.

I haven't seen 9.9 since last May. Lowest ever is 9.7 about 2 years ago. Go on holiday next Wednesday so hope I can maintain 9.9. Not much on so need to keep going. Plan for holiday is maybe long fast a couple of days whilst there. Will skip breakfast apart from first day and daily runs and try go the gym a couple of times. I know I'll gain and I'm definitely going to enjoy lots of desserts!

10:10:6 - Next goal for me is 10:9 and I’d like to get there next week or the week after. Bank holiday this weekend so things are likely to go a bit wonky but will see what I can do.

Yes I am officially entering maintence. Will continue to tone and I’m giving myself a 9.10 to 9.13 leeway and always below 10. If I go fwd 9.13 will do a more careful week.

I’ll prob have a gain this week as away till Monday night . No gym where we staying but hopefully steps (but also wine and food!) . But life is for living :) will be mindful as aware how hard it was to get here but also enjoy!

Mums treatment starts next week. It feels like the last week of normality as when the treatment starts we are into unknown territory. Trying not to think too far ahead.

Right,now the hard work starts as not in work for 2 weeks. Just want to stay around here until Wednesday and then enjoy holidays!

im back later today. Managed steps but no work out. Skipped brekkie but had a lot to drink and eat for other meals. Feeling bloated. Not even bothered to weigh myself as I know I’ll be up and it will stress me out! This week will be difficult as kids off but hoping that I’m back to 9.10 again for end of next week. I’m now entering maintence !

All going well here. Although I ate quite a lot yesterday. Was in packing all day and hunger caught up with me. Go tomorrow, excited to enjoy it and not have to weigh every day.

sorry been a bit awol! Holidays throw we off routine and the weekend away def did. I’ve not had best week food wise and as had 2 kids at home there’s been a lot of food trips out and less time to gym.

@Smartmove Good to hear from you, going away and half terms really mess with the usual structure and routine doesn’t it! Much easier for me ti just stick to a habit consistently but as soon as the habit is broken getting back into it is much harder. I hope you had a lovely time away anyway and had fun with your little ones this week. Back to school for us on Monday so some sense of routine is nearly here.

I haven’t made it to the gym. Ive had to go easy on myself and now I’ve ended up with a cold these last few days. I think the stress must have lowered my immune system as I am usually quite healthy and rarely pick up colds. Hopefully next week!

@Bubbles44Yay well done getting to 9:9 you did a good long consistent slog to get there ans it paid off. Do you feel much different being those couple or few pounds lighter? I hope you’re having a good balance of everything on your holiday and the sun is shining for you.

I haven’t been weighing much lately which is actually quite good not being so obsessed. I will try to weigh this morning though and will report back later.

I can’t imagine my food and drink will be too bad this weekend as I can’t taste anything anyway! (Famous last words!)

Having a good day today after a week. Quite enjoying eating nourishing healthy food and not having a drink! Going to do another 4 weeks of no alcohol and then it’s my bday weekend so have some nice dinners etc planned

ended yest on maintence with a work out. Usually after a week of eating and a trip away I try go down very low and I think that over restriction leads to issues
I’m glad I haven’t weighed yet either . Am still feeling bloated!

weigh tmrw as been 10 days wince I weighed then and need to have a vague idea where I am!
