This is the new thread to discuss us using fasting to get to our goal weight. Believe it or not but this is the third thread with the first from around 18 months ago!

No I am not at goal yet. I dare not look at what I weighed then as there is a good chance I'm about the same weight now having recently put back on!

Anyway. Now is the time to keep going. To allow for a bit on over Christmas and get a head start for the New Year. 2025 I WILL get to goal!

Anyone else is wearing to join.

My starting weight was probably 12:9 at heaviest. I'm just over 11 stone now and my goal is around 10:3.

Let's go!

my weekend is super chilled boring and just how I fancy it atm! Still have no desire to drink after the holiday!

@hollyblueivy yes that's great. You've done great at keeping at the new weight. Im sure you'll get the pound off in the next week.

Not loads going on. Will gym and run and kids stuff mainly.

1400 today and over ten thousand steps . I find I need lower to loose but for the start of the weekend I’ll take that
had yoghurt almonds passion fruit
half a sandwhich and avacado
chicken tray bake
some choc!!

now have an imrptou family meal tmrw so may be more cals again. will do a good workout

would love to weigh 9.11 for next Friday though

Totally off plan day yesterday. Didn't even exercise. Ate out and had quite a few sweet treats throughout the day. It was nice to have a day off but feel a bit gross today. as long as I'm back on it today should hopefully be ok when I next weigh on Tuesday.? Have done a long run and will go to the gym this afternoon!

Hope you're both having a nice weekend and it's including a few treats!

I’ll join you both with the weekend bank holiday vibes. I had a take away last night and a breakfast roll this morning. Might be popping to the pub later. Ooops.

10:11:5 and want 1lb off by next Friday. I think I could still do that if I draw a line tomorrow.

low cal healthy 3 meals but I cake at DD friend bday.

may weigh tmrw but am scared! But maybe need that!

tmrw will be low cal.
@Bubbles44 fibd after a day of having as I please it takes 2 to loose the water weight so u should be fine for Tuesday and back to 9.11

not sure I’ll make 9.11 given my weekend it’s not been tragic but also not great. I think prob weighing tmrw is needed to help me pull back in the week suspect I’m up 1/2 pounds.

@SmartmoveThats not too bad for a bank holiday weekend. Is that 2lb that you want to lose by Saturday now? How will you plan your days to get that loss?

I will weigh shortly but I can feel that I don’t think I have got all the bank holiday treats out my system. Alcohol was done yesterday so no more of that, but maybe an ice cream out or a pudding to round the weekend off. Maybe my weigh this morning will depend on it considering I want to lose a pound by Friday.

@hollyblueivy it will be 2 off but actually one of them is def just water from the carbs eaten this weekend . I had a good amount choc last night!!!

So I’m hoping that’s off by Wednesday and then I’ve got 3 days to get a bit more off - a full pound is maybe a bit ambitious but if it evens starts 9.11 something that will do!

10:11:7 today - I’ve been hovering around that the last 5 days give or take. I have a feeling the weekend may catch up with me tomorrow.

Im going to have my last final treats today then that gives me Tues-Fri to drop a pound. Should give me the oomph to have a good few days.

I haven’t worked out properly in a couple of weeks. I know I need to get back to the gym but have a bit of a mental block at the moment. Will go for a walk today and hopefully pick up either gym or light jog tomorrow.

Good couple of days. Run, gym and walking. Food all good. Although I'm noticing I'm nibbling a bit extra whilst preparing food etc. need to stop that as it adds up! Need to focus now as holiday in 3 weeks. Last year was 9.9 so would love to get there but not going to pressure myself!

Sounds like a lovely bank holiday @hollyblueivy and well deserved! Hope some movement this week works out and you feel better for it!

Great plans @Smartmove hope you get to 9.11 asap. So hard sticking to really low cals over the weekend. Hopefully the routine will help. Although can't believe it's so soon until the next bank/school holiday!

Slight increase as expected 10:12:1 - I hope that’s the last of the gains from the weekend.

That means I’m now looking at 1.5lb off to get to 10:10:5 so may need to extend the goal to Saturday, but I am going to try by Friday just to keep me on track this week.

Loose plan is coffee for breakfast, soup for lunch with protein and salad or veg for dinner, easing on the carbs as much as possible. Also aim for 1.5L water per day.

At least a walk each day but want to build back in some strength and running soon.

what are your goals and plans for this week?

9.11 today, so managed to maintain after a crazy day Saturday. Birthday in the house over the weekend so need to plan some treats around that so I need a very good week to keep losing!

Will weigh tmrw! Yest was ok day but I did have an icecream which pushed cals to 1400. I find it very hard being totally angelic on the weekends/bh!

today should be 1200 cal day and I did pelaton. Did a long fast and managed 15 hours

really need to do this all week and weigh in sat am to see a new low weight. Fingers crossed

well done @hollyblueivy thats not a gain really and I’m sure u can get that off and more this week.

Prob about 1400 today with workout and 6000 steps . I did eat some choc . A bit annoyed at self I don’t really loose unless I’m nearer the 1200 mark.

let’s see what tmrw shows on scale!

9.11 Good day yesterday no work out or run though. I've done my run for today and aiming for gym tonight. Will fast until 4!

9.12 so stayed the same. Going to drop cals now to 1200 and hope I budge a little!

I really don’t want to workout today. May skip it :/ was up last night some reason and am zonked. If I do sat and Sunday I’ll have done my 3 a week at least

1400 and no workout
coming down with a cold
seem to be struggling to get much below this cal and means weight loss will be snail pace! I’m having 150 cals of choc a day which is the issue! Rest of day is nice clean home made food but can’t shake the sweet tooth!

I’ll try lower tmrw!!!

9.10 today! Chuffed with that! Although it was a busy day yesterday with about a 30 minute eating window which probably explains it. A bit nervous about the weekend but will plan treats into Saturday as I know I will have cake!
Fast until 4. No run or work out but should get a good few steps!

@Bubbles44That is absolutely fantastic well done, you’ll have loads of wiggle room on holiday. Consistency really is the key isn’t it.

10:10:8 Going in the right direction.

My recent worries were realised yesterday and my mum has been diagnosed with cancer. She is on her own so I am her main support although we have wider family. As you can imagine I am all over the place at the moment. Doing this and weighing everyday gives me a certain sense of control so will continue as much as I can.
