This is the new thread to discuss us using fasting to get to our goal weight. Believe it or not but this is the third thread with the first from around 18 months ago!

No I am not at goal yet. I dare not look at what I weighed then as there is a good chance I'm about the same weight now having recently put back on!

Anyway. Now is the time to keep going. To allow for a bit on over Christmas and get a head start for the New Year. 2025 I WILL get to goal!

Anyone else is wearing to join.

My starting weight was probably 12:9 at heaviest. I'm just over 11 stone now and my goal is around 10:3.

Let's go!

9.13.8 today
will move to weekly weigh in now
hoping 9.12 by next Friday which is pre holiday weight

got a few things on this weekend but looking fwd to a alcohol free one!

@SmartmoveConsidering you had a long holiday, you’ve done exceptionally well at coming home getting straight back on it and very nearly already back to where you were. You must be so pleased.

I haven’t weighed today. No movement and food has been a bit all over the place.

I’ll try to weigh in the morning.

@hollyblueivy i didn’t feel swimming costume great when away so I’m very conscious I want to get back to my weight and then drop some more! The Esg lady always says it’s no the holiday it’s what happens after which counts / matters/ can affect things so I have that loudly in my head!!!
will be pleased when back to 9.12!

Hi both, hope you’re doing well. I’ve had some not diet and fitness stuff going on so haven’t been that focussed on this side of things. Hopefully get a bit more normality next week. Managed to weigh today. 10:12:8.

No real goals at the moment aside from trying to keep a check on weighing so I know where I am and checking in on here.

Great to be back in the 9's @Smartmove how has the weekend been? So true, holidays are for enjoying, it's the rest of the year that counts!

9.13 today. Happy with that. 2 pounds on over Easter and a holiday which is to be expected. Back into routine tomorrow. New routine with gym etc but looking forward to making it all work! Might weight next on Wednesday!

I had an average weekend. I had 2 meals out so it’s always harder to stay under calories but I chose well and didn’t drink. I prob ate too much left over choc over the weekend though. I did 2 very good workouts .

ive done about 1600 all weekend and today which is my maintence so I’m not sure where I am on scale will weigh tmrw so I know I’m headed right direction.

Good day here. Sad to be back in routine but definitely easier fasting whilst in work. Going to go to the gym this evening. Hope it's not too busy.

Not sure about weighing might tomorrow. See how it goes!

I was 9.11 today. I had a crazy busy day yesterday and didn't get chance to eat as much so was hoping for a drop. Not quite so active today although with fast until 6.

So sadly 10 stone. This last 2 pounds is being harder as I expected
1500-1600 is clearly ok for me to maintain but I need more like 100-1200 to loose which is hard work.

but let’s go! No plans this weekend. No chocolate till sat then I can have a little treat of Easter egg still left. Of course no alcohol.

yes I’m still working out hard ! I love the CG videos on you tube and I’m stronger and more defined but still so much flab everywhere!

10:10:6 today - this isn’t through any particular effort I’ve put in, more to do with less appetite when things are going on. I may try to get a walk in later, more for the mind than the body.

@SmartmoveYour weight loss is going exactly as you planned, not too much on over holiday, lose most of it quickly and then work a bit harder for the last couple of pounds. You’re doing everything right, keep going.

@Bubbles44Thats a great weight loss after Easter and time away. Are you trying to maintain at the moment or drop to 9:9?

Good day here. Was so hungry all day! Managed to fast and have healthy food. I did have one biscuit. Managed to stop after that. Will probably weight daily I think?!

@Bubbles44 surpringly I was ok yest. I think it’s in the mind isn’t it! The weigh in of ten spurred me on. Just having my yoghurt melon and flax seed
greek salad for lunch
done my 35 min very intense workout of weights
will weigh next on Sunday I think to keep me focussed over the weekend

That's great @Smartmove well done. You must be tempted to weigh or do you think you can hold out until Sunday?

I weighed the same today 9.11. Good day today. Run, long fast and gym. One biscuit again . Definitely feels a win having one and not the packet. I do feel bloated though although definitely burnt more than I have eaten feels like I might get a gain. We'll see!

@Bubbles44 I’m so good at self sabotaging I know I’ll be lower and then eat more! And 2 days of low cals won’t even be real weight loss I need to sustain it
suspect by Friday I may be tempted but then it’s the weekend

i had 3 chocs and ending at 1200!

You are both on a roll. Great awareness about potential for sabotage if you weigh. I am the same but don’t understand the psychology behind it.

Appetite is back and rather than eat healthy foods it’s been pasta, burgers etc so 10:11:5 today. I need to rein it in before I get closer to 11. Especially with a bank holiday on the horizon.

Not back into planning meals yet so don’t know what I’ll eat today but will try to be good.

tmrw will be lots of steps and similar cals. Find 1200 manageable tbh. May weigh tmrw lets see!

I got out for a walk today. The most movement I’ve done in a while. It felt good. I’ll try to get back into a bit of walking as it really is good for the body and mind.

Egg on toast for lunch. Not sure about dinner yet but should be an ok day.

9.11 again today. I'm good with this weight, although I've got lots of busy weekends coming up in May and an all inclusive holiday at the end of May so might try and push down as much as I can so I can remain under 10. Good day, although I had a little bit of Easter chocolate. Quite an active weekend planned so hope all should be good!

Glad you're feeling a little better @hollyblueivy sounds like the movement has done you good! I'm sure the healthy food will follow. Take it easy though and look after yourself.

@Smartmove what a great week you have had. Can you feel it in your clothes? Well done for sticking to your plan. I'm
sure it will be reflected on the scales!

@Bubbles44You are on the right track and the moment and trying to lose another pound before your holiday will hopefully keep you on focus before you go. All inclusive is both a blessing and a curse!

10:11:5 today. I think I’d like to set a goal of losing a pound over the next week and see how I go. I’ve got into the habit of having a sweet treat after dinner so that has to go. Not sure what the bank holiday weekend will bring but if I think that I want to see a loss next Friday it may help make some good choices.

Are you up to much this weekend?

9.12 today yay back to pre holiday weight feeling better
not much on this weekend so aim is 9.11 next Friday and won’t weigh till then. I have a weekend away at end of month so aware I’ll be having wine and food etc so need to behave till then too!
will manage my steps today but will workout sat and Sunday but prob not today
