This is the new thread to discuss us using fasting to get to our goal weight. Believe it or not but this is the third thread with the first from around 18 months ago!

No I am not at goal yet. I dare not look at what I weighed then as there is a good chance I'm about the same weight now having recently put back on!

Anyway. Now is the time to keep going. To allow for a bit on over Christmas and get a head start for the New Year. 2025 I WILL get to goal!

Anyone else is wearing to join.

My starting weight was probably 12:9 at heaviest. I'm just over 11 stone now and my goal is around 10:3.

Let's go!

Well done on a good day @Bubbles44 - you must clock up a decent weekly mileage. Are you entering any races this year?

Food hasn't been the best today, but all eaten at home, not out or take away and definitely no alcohol.

Hoping to get myself up and out early for a run tomorrow. Hardly moved today.

Well instead I totally crazy yest! Choc crossiant Nutella from jar and 2 drinks! And didn’t work out. And had some chocolate and icecream too! wtf?!

anyways I’m planning a week of low cals 1300 a day ow I’m going to gain! Work out today

feeling very bloated
its like I proved to myself I could do it on Friday and so instead went crazy yest.

Ah I have this problem so much @Smartmove have an event, Impress myself with being really good and the next day sabotage myself as I feel I've missed out I guess. So frustrating. Hope it's been better today!

Did you get out for your run @hollyblueivy? So lovely out there today!
I've not got any races planned. Maybe I should. Not enjoying running as much at the moment. I'm going to view a gym today as really want to increase my strength. Listening to the latest diary of a ceo it's about ageing and how important lifting heavy is.

Anyway good day so far, on 18K steps. Broke fast just now, need to stay in control now!

@Bubbles44 for me I think it’s coz I showed myself I can do it. So then well done to me - open the floodgates! Really very annoying.

yes ok so far. Went for lunch for cousins bday chose well and light I had a slice of cake but put it in my cals.

am on maintence cals today 1600 - which really need to be lower given the last few days of 1800-2200!!!! I did a workout though

easier in the week to stick to cals so hopefully lower them in week and will weigh mid week to check I’m not crazy high weight!

Hardly surprising I've jumped up to 11:3:2 today after not going completely overboard, but definitely allowing more treats (and drinks) than I would have during the week. I just cannot do fully good weekends. I need something!

I feel very tired today so exercise at most will be a walk.

I've got the food shopping in but haven't food planned what I'm eating each day so will review that later.

3.5lb needs to be gone. I want this be in the 10's, this is getting boring now.

I’m feeling bloated and yncomfy from the carbs on sat - why do I eat them when they don’t make me feel good?

no work out today but 3 meals and an apple . No sugar! Quite looking fwd to it weirdly!

Ok so I’m sadly 10 again!!!! Am actually 10.04!!! So that’s 2.2 more than last Friday
Freaking out. I have 3 days to get over 2 off :/ is it possible?
not sure I like being so close to the edge

not got much on this weekend no one over and no dinners so would like to stay closer to my 9.12 all weekend and weekend

You are only a small amount over and if you can drop half a pound by tomorrow you'll be back in the 9's. Not having any plans over the weekend will be a good chance for you to have a decent run of good days even allowing for the odd treat.

You got this, keep going! Maybe also a bit of a test for your maintenance to work out just how much you can get away with, without going too far above your ideal range.

I had a short workout yesterday and only plan a short one today.

i think eating spoons of Nutella out of the jar probably not ideal!
workout and 1200 cal day planned today. Really need to stick to it

not sure I’ll get back to 9.12 in 3 days but def can get very close if I behave . Yesterday was a good day at 1500 and healthy food so I prob lost some of the weekend bloat already which is depressing

Try not to panic @Smartmove sure you'll be back in the 9's tomorrow. It's a nightmare hovering around a stone mark. I've heard people say you should start weighing in KG as less emotional connection to those numbers!

So close @hollyblueivy this is the week!

Good couple of days here. Lots of exercise. Will weigh Friday!

Feeling calmer thanks girls! Not sure why I weighed mid week I know it’s going to be up. Anyways it is helping keeping my focussed.
should end on 1200 with a 8000 walk and started a new Caroline series so will do the first one of them today looks like some good heavy lifting.
I prob won’t weigh till Friday but really hope I’m 9.12 again! I think it’s important I keep weigh in on a Friday / Sat and keep my weight below 10. I’m actually noticing the extra bloat this week and I don’t like it

today I’ve had/going to have
yoghurt passion fruit flax seeds
prawn salad
roast chicken with a huge avacado salad
milk for 3 coffees
apple for snack and 4 almonds I’m munching now :)

Ended on 1200-1300 as forgot to weigh avacado and measure milk!
8000 steps
unsure if workout will happen as currently have snotty toddler on me!
was hungry I find under 1400 difficult but just neeed to do that a few days to make up for the weekend x

No workout but ten thousand steps (mostly pushing a pram I’m sure that’s more cals burned)
a little peckish but feeling pleased I had no choc and lots of protein
dissapointed I didn’t work out but I will on wed sat and Sunday so get 3 in this week

11:1:6 today.

Need to keep going today and tomorrow after eating a little heavier yesterday to avoid tipping the scales in the wrong direction.

This is such a slow and painful process!

Don't take this long to put it on.

Workout ✔️ was a good one

I was good all day but then I was starving at tea time and had a few slices of kids pizza. Which is annoying so ended up on 1600 cals which is prob my maintenance and actually I need to be less given my weekend.

ill just have to make sure I behave very well over weekend with minimal treats and hope I’m back to 9.12 sometime next week. Pretty sure I’ll be up on Friday :(

tmrw will be a normal day no over restriction ow it ends in a disaster!

No exercise today.

Lunch included bread and dinner included pasta so won't be a surprise if a gain tomorrow.

Haven't snacked today though. Just tea, coffee and squash.

Thinking about fasting until dinner tomorrow and skipping lunch but will see.

Having a slight stress! Wobble whatever we wish to call it!

firstly the pizza . Feeling ever so bad I did well and then ate 500 cals off pizza. That’s fine if I hadn’t indulged all weekend, it actually meant I ended on maintence cals but I needed to lower given my weekend.

secondly I ordered some new clothes as some holiday ones r now too big. But my tummy looked half pregnant in them :(

thirdly I’m worried this is going to be an ongoing stress and 10.10 is to difficult to maintain but the other option is just getting fat again!!!!!

I think I need my weekends to be slightly less crazy so over the week I can just be normal

i I wish I didn’t have to obsess and think about it all so much but I don’t trust I can “intuitively” eat . Feeling pre menstrual! But I’m mid way though cycle!

So if tmrw is an average low day of 1200 which I can manage . I end the week now on 1750 which is over my maintenance cals by 150 sigh! I think 1600 is what I need to maintain my weight.

this weekend apart from meeting my friend for one drink I have zero plans. Thank god!

Hope you're ok @Smartmove try not to panic. Remember we should aim for a range not a number. Some weeks we can just find it easy and some so hard for no reason! Hope you have a good day today. Like you say don't deprive too much today.

Thanks @Bubbles44 i was just in a terrible mood yest. Feeling better today and u r right about the range. Just finding it harder than I thought. I have a lot of food noise and love eating! Wish I could switch it off!!!!
