I've over indulged this weekend - no fruit or veg and feeling bloated and heavy. Will see out the bank holiday weekend and weigh early next week - getting back on track.

Need to work on getting to goal to focus on maintenance.

@Serialcatmum little by little! It’s not easy just take ur time and as long as u do it and get to where your happy that’s all that matters

i wasn’t great today. Bloddy self sabtogae!!!! Wish I hadn’t weighed but wasn’t expecting to be 10.4!

@Smartmove Hope your day wasn't too bad. Draw a line and go again, it's what we do!

I've counted calories again today and had 1118 with 90.7 protein and 22.8 fibre.

It's been a good few days and I got an hours workout in too.

Don't think I'll fast tomorrow as if I can stay in control of calories, I'd rather eat. Also have energy for a workout.

@hollyblueivy it was about 1600 so not terrible prob my maintence cals but not the 900 !! And about 500 of them were chocolate!!!

tmrw is 900 cal day . I can do it!!!!

@Serialcatmum just set mini targets so it doesn’t seem too much of a task. Bit by bit you’ll get where you need to be. It can be daunting but keep going. I’ve definitely found the accountability of this group great. Especially when going away/hols etc knowing I have to report back.

then not weighing but just sticking to plan of 900 cals - if I do that there’s no point weighing as I will loose weight!

@Smartmove your plan sounds like a good one, how long are you going to 900 cals for?

I'm annoyed with myself that I weighed this morning, was 10:11:9. I will weigh tomorrow and then try not to weigh for a whole week until next Friday - maybe I'll put the scales out the way somewhere.

I've had a coffee and some avocado toast this morning as I was hungry. Wondering whether to still have lunch and dinner or skip lunch and just have an early dinner. That's my preference so will try for that and to get a workout in later.

I find weighing myself super stressful. Sometimes I won’t do it for a month and then once it’s in my head i absolutely have to do it there and then! I couldn’t do it everyday. So stressful!

im doing 900 cals until next sat! Then I’m away for a very foodie trip for my special wedding anniversary :) I weighed ten stone 15 years ago when I got married ! I won’t be there but not far off. Must say my body shape so diff I don’t look close tbh!

@Bubbles44 wow well done! Usually takes me 2 weeks after a big holiday to get back to weight!! Did u skip brekkie remind me how u did it!

Should close on 800 today. Not having hungry day (prob all that choc yest!). No excercise though.

not weighing tmrw @hollyblueivy are you joining me?? I think in my head thinking I’m 10.5 still will push me to goal. Ow I’ll keep eating more cals when I drop! I won’t weigh least 4/5 days but will try go 9 days!!!

tmrw will do 1000 cals as have my PT

@hollyblueivy not sure what I’ll do going forward. I guess keep doing what I’m doing as I feel good fasting, limiting sugar. Probably wouldn’t want to go too much lower. But still feel I could lose some weight around thighs/hips.

So weird how I didn’t put loads of weight on holiday and it’s come off so fast! Worrying me a little- it’s so unlike my body!

Good luck with getting to 10 or close for your anniversary @Smartmove . You’re doing so well with the low calorie days! Hope you get your results.

I’m undecided about when to weigh! It’s hard isn’t it. Quite like not daily weighing. I might just choose the odd day to do it but I think I’m not going to do every day!

Failed today

Breakfast lunch dinner and two lots of unhealthy snacks - feel full and bloated.

No exercise and now not wanting to weigh tomorrow as I know it will be an increase.

So I'm with you @Smartmove on the non weighing plan.

I'm going to set Saturday 22 as the next time I weigh.

My aim is to 10.3 that morning which is achievable as 10.4 yest and means I have myself 10 days to loose 1 pound.

I ended on 800 (with hardly any steps today ) staying strong and tmrw be 1000 and my PT.

Been more carbs this week. DS has been poorly so I've been shattered today! Found myself cooking chicken and edamame beans whilst spooning biscoff spread from the jar.

Hk all,

Weighed myself today- my BMI has gone from 38.9 end of March to 34 today. I know it’s not the best way/ only way to indicate health but I’m pleased.

Think not weighing today sounds like a sound plan @hollyblueivy if it’s not going to motivate don’t do it.

im back to 1600 cals for this weekend and im going away. I’ve planned ahead and know at least today will be within cals and have a bit of a plan to limit damage tomorrow.

@Serialcatmum That's a fab win, non scale victory! Well done and keep going.

Not weighing now until 22 June and really hope it makes a difference to my mindset.

I've been counting calories this week which I haven't previously done and that's been quite interesting to see how many I'm having and tracking protein and fibre.

I added up the day yesterday and averaged it over the four days I had been counting and it came in just under 1400 per day so overall not too bad.

I've planned 4 teas / coffees today with a cheese and tomato omelette for lunch and dinner is steak and mash with peas and carrots. That's around 1200 calories so will try to stop there as tomorrow is going to be off plan.

I hope to have a workout later today too.

@Smartmove how did PT go?

I’ve woken up so hungry today. I think 4 days of one meal has got me today. Had breakfast at 7am. The kids couldn’t believe what they were seeing 😂. I’m

Just wondered if you guys had ever tried using the ketones strips to see if you had Ketones in your urine??

im new to them but it seems to say I have 1.5 mmol present after 19 hours fasting so will be interesting to monitor throughout the day!

@Smartmove I don’t know my goal tbh. Maybe 9.6 lowest. Never been that low. Are you guys basing yours on bmi or weight? Never really paid attention to bmi but a good gauge I guess.

@Serialcatmum I’ve never bothered measuring ketones. So not sure sorry.

Predictably I’ve had the awful day I knew I’d have when I started eating at 7am. Dread to think how much I’ve eaten. Out of my system and now I should have a good stretch until Wednesday weigh in. No big eating plans over weekend so all in my control. I’ll do 10K both mornings and keep as active as possible.
How are all of your weekends looking?

At 10.3 my goal my bmi is 23. But it’s also my goal as I was 10 at wedding and I like how I looked in pics! 15 years on though my body so different I look much bigger due to mum tum !!! so I may cruise for a while then drop lower once I hit goal. I do feel hugely better now and my clothes fit . People are commenting on how much I’ve lost more than before strangely

I have a super quiet weekend and intend to stick totally to plan 😇

@Serialcatmum I haven't done the ketone thing as I don't think I fast long enough and often it's not a clean fast for me as I sometimes have milk in my coffee.

@Bubbles44 My goal is around 10:3 but that's based on just wanting to fit into a comfortable size clothes and allow for a few pounds on when I have a blowout / break etc without feeling too big. Whereas at the moment if I go up, it send me into the 11's and clothes feel tight. So I guess just a bit smaller with a buffer.

My calories ended higher than planned yesterday and I had a couple of drinks. I have an off plan day today for a social but thinking spirit and mixer is probably my best option. As higher calories yesterday I have no desire to weigh thankfully.

I didn't get my workout in yesterday either so would like to get an early one done today then that is my minimum of three in the week.

Tomorrow is pure rest so should be able to get back into the zone tomorrow and have a clear week to really focus.
