I've over indulged this weekend - no fruit or veg and feeling bloated and heavy. Will see out the bank holiday weekend and weigh early next week - getting back on track.

Need to work on getting to goal to focus on maintenance.

Hope your weekends are going well.

If you find them @hollyblueivy stock up. There seems to be issues with stock at the moment. Really annoying! Sometimes struggle to get it.

Maybe you closed your window too early @Smartmove ? Going into the hard part of your fast when still awake. If I ever try and close before 5 it goes wrong and I end up snacking.

9.13 today. Run done. Will fast until 6ish.

Hope it’s a good day for everyone!

hollyblueivy · 23/07/2024 07:29

I fast much better during the morning than the evening. I couldn't imagine not eating in the late afternoon/evening.

10:10:6 increase today - could be weekend catching up with me or could be the pasta last night. I'll try to ease off the carbs a bit today.

Will go to gym later for an hour - mix of weights and cardio, slowly getting back into it.

Food today will be
Possibly soup again for lunch, if not mackerel on one slice toast.

I may just have chicken and cheese omelette and salad for dinner.

Might start the creatine today but will have to be committed to drinking lots of water as apparently that's a thing with it.

10.7 today. Reflection of how much I ate on holiday that a magnum and hot choc I still dropped! Suspect it will slow down now . I really want to be 10.5 by end of week though. Which is my upper maintence range

im going to try skip brekkie today and have early lunch with my DD (have a salad) and then dinner is chicken stir fry.

I’m going to try not have HU and have some berries instead. But it’s so delicious!!!!!

I won’t manage gym today as home with 2 kids under 6! But I will go tmrw

anyone have advice on what dumbbells I should buy / where to look? Going to get some today

Smartmove · 23/07/2024 18:12

Lost plot today. Promise to be good tmrw. Been potty training and it’s quite frankly driven me potty!

Bubbles44 · 24/07/2024 06:47

Sorry it was a hard day @Smartmove It does sound very stressful. Hope it’s going well and they get it soon!
Good day yesterday. 9.12 today. Keep going.
Hope it’s a good day for everyone.

Smartmove · 24/07/2024 07:09

Day planned today. Hopping on my pelaton now and will throw some weights in at end.
need to consistently do under 1000 cals if I want this off asap ! Xxx
going black with the coffee this am so it’s going to be a clean fast for this week and weekend (no plans this weekend)

hollyblueivy · 24/07/2024 07:45

I give up!!!!!!

10:11:00

All the things I ate yesterday
3 slices toast
2x banana
1/4 melon
2 eggs cheese and chicken omelette
Half tin beans
Salad
Gold bar
3 x coffees
Over 2 litres water

1 hours gym cardio and strength

OP posts:
Smartmove · 24/07/2024 08:38

@hollyblueivy its prob ur gym? I would keep going and see what happens after a rest day of gym. If it’s not dropping measure urself in inches .
if still not re look at ur carbs and add more protein. Bannna beans and toast high. Maybe some pulses? Or cheese? Or chicken ? But the list is very good in terms of health fibre and not being upf

its hard!

im back 10.8 today after yest chocolate and cake binge. Really need to focus

pelaton done
weights done.
1000 day planned. I’m going sugar and alcohol free for a few days too (alchol not bothered can do that for a few weeks easily sugar will be the hard one!)
x

Bubbles44 · 24/07/2024 17:18

It is hard! But keep going @hollyblueivy Maybe throw in a couple of longer fasts. If only by a couple of hours it might help. When I I have a small eating window it definitely stops me snacking. Hope you’ve had a good day.

Did you manage to stick to plan@Smartmove ?

Day ok here. Faster until 4. Will close about 6!

Smartmove · 24/07/2024 18:51

Day good I think. I wanted 1000 cals but ended on 1250 which is still quite good

did my work out - pelaton and weights 40 mins total
ate fairly low carbs and not processed

no sugar ✅
no alcohol ✅

report tmrw.

hollyblueivy · 24/07/2024 22:52

Thanks for the support whilst I have a wobble.

Glad you've had good days.

I was frustrated today and I haven't eaten the best. Haven't been to gym either. Will probably be Saturday before I am able to get my third workout in.

Tomorrow is a new day and I will try to do better.

OP posts:
Bubbles44 · 25/07/2024 07:24

9.13!! Good day yesterday. I guess it just happens sometimes! I’m out with friends on Saturday so want to be 9.11 by then!

Smartmove · 25/07/2024 07:34

10.8 still

gonna throw in a very low cal day today of 850 . Wish me luck. I love food too much !!!

hollyblueivy · 25/07/2024 07:41

10:11:00

So annoyed with myself for not getting to 10:9:00 by tomorrow and this is part of the reason why I don't like setting myself a goal, as I feel like a failure if I don't reach it.

I'm bordering self destruct at the moment. Think I may need to move to maintenance to be kinder to myself and take the pressure off a bit.

OP posts:
Smartmove · 25/07/2024 09:40

Don’t despair @hollyblueivy it’s so hard. I’m annoyed I’m 10.8 again and had that total disaster day which I haven’t fessed up what I ate!!!

either pause and go into maintence

or reset urself and have a look at things and where u can change things

we all been there and understand ur despair!

just try no to self destruct and undo all ur hard work!

hollyblueivy · 25/07/2024 12:35

I'll move to maintenance as summer holidays and annual leave coming up and it's a bit overwhelming trying to work out how best to manage food.

Bracket - 10:9-10:12

OP posts:
Smartmove · 25/07/2024 15:27

Good plan @hollyblueivy
im joining u once I’m back to my
10.3-10.5 bracket. It’s hard in the holidays and being out of routine.

going to then hope Sept Oct Nov to drop to ten and then stay 10-10.3

today
no steps or work out 🤨
but will be 900 cals ✅
no sugar ✅
no alcohol ✅

friend over tmrw have puddings purchased. Must stay strong! She doesn’t drink so one bullet dodged!

Smartmove · 25/07/2024 17:01

Starting fasting. Had a few nuts so 1000 cals
AF arrived so explains my choc binge other day. Hopefully remain on track tmrw and weekend

will break 930

Serialcatmum · 25/07/2024 21:13

Hi all,

busy few days! Nothings changed here. Fasted Monday- Thursday and stick to 800 cals and back to 1600 tomorrow.

same as always- my 5 work outs and long fasted days.

sorry you guys have had some tough days. Some days are it’s like that. And others seem to have no rhymes or rhythm. Don’t be too hard on yourselves you lovely lot xx

Serialcatmum · 26/07/2024 06:00

So something strange happened and I wonder if you ladies can help me know my “real” weight. I had loads of calories Sunday as I’d been in too much of a calorie deficit throughout the weekend so ok Sunday I ate the calories I didn’t get round to eating Friday/ Saturday. Out of curiously k weighed myself Tuesday morning. I was 16.0.05. Wasn’t overly pleased as that was only a 2.5 loss in a few weeks. I’ve just done my usual thing this week and then decided to weigh myself this morning. It was 15.9.0. I can’t possibly have lost 5.5 pounds since Tuesday. So what’s going on?! Did I have a huge fake gain Tuesday due to water weight cos of the big over eating cals Sunday or is today a fluke reading?!

im all up for suggestions! Guess this is why I usually weigh every 3 / 4 weeks 😂

hollyblueivy · 26/07/2024 06:56

Yes I think what you've said is right. Had you weighed before Sunday you would have seen a bigger loss. Slightly less of a loss after Sunday and now things have evened themselves out again it is probably showing a more realistic idea of your weight. Well done that is great.

Hope you're feeling good? Another stone bracket too!

OP posts:
Bubbles44 · 26/07/2024 07:33

@Serialcatmum that’s great progress well done. You can definitely lose that much after a couple of days of high calories and then back into normal routine. I think they even say that approach can rev up your metabolism and help get out of plateaus! Are you feeling good in yourself?

I know what you mean @hollyblueivy as soon as I set a target, it’s as though I just self sabotage. Why do we do it!!! Sounds a good plan re maintaining over this time, not setting ourselves up for failure!

@Smartmove hope you drop a couple more today. I know you had a bad day but you’ve done well considering just back off hols which is always hard!

9.11 here. Friday is my hard day as not in work! Need to stay strong! Keep busy!

Smartmove · 26/07/2024 12:15

@Serialcatmum after a big eating day I can go up 2/3 pounds easily. Today will be ur actual weight . I usually like to take the lowest that week as my weight for the week . Well done!!! Sounds like u doing fab! And this routine of week and weekend is so good!!! I wish I could fast like u too!

weigh in was 10.7 . It’s slowed down. I’m 4.5 away from where I was last month! 2 trips away a bday and a anniversary at fault - not me!!!! Gonna push through and hope to be nearer 10.5 by Monday….

no steps : work out again today
but will be no sugar ✅
non alcohol ✅
under 1200 cals hopefully under 1000✅

Smartmove · 26/07/2024 21:09

Ended up on 1500-very difficult when people over . I ate all healthy stuff but things extra unplanned
hummus
olives
extra piece of chicken
1 spoon of icecream (like a teaspoon!)

expecting to have STS tmrw hopefully not a gain!!!!

this weekend no plans so really need to get close to 10.5

Smartmove · 27/07/2024 07:41

10.6.5
been back a week now it’s all nearly off!
plan today
gym
steps
1000 cals
