I've over indulged this weekend - no fruit or veg and feeling bloated and heavy. Will see out the bank holiday weekend and weigh early next week - getting back on track.

Need to work on getting to goal to focus on maintenance.

I think I’m just finding every day so hard this week. Fasting but starving. Feel like I’m close to having a bad day! Keep on going. I’ll fast until 5. Healthy food! Need to plan the weekend as really busy!

@Bubbles44 do u need to change ur tactic?? Maybe this isn’t working for u atm if ur hungry? I know I went from very low carbs to slightly higher coz just couldn’t keep doing it…..see how today goes but no harm in doing a shorter fast. It’s hard being hungry!

a weekend with friends and cake sounds delightful! I’m off to a toddler theme park and my nephew is sleeping over all weekend. Hard to resist his left overs but I’ll try my best!

@Smartmove i was thinking about it and I think it’s because I’ve done 5 early morning runs in a row. Didn’t go today and feel lots better and not as hungry so think I’ll maybe go every other day in the week instead.
Hope your weigh in goes ok tomorrow. I think that’s the way to do it. Accept we have good weeks and some bad weeks. Is it your anniversary weekend this weekend?

Had an ok day, long fast. I did have a few chocolates as the kids had some and a slice of sourdough and butter. Will mean I’m higher tomorrow but that’s ok.
I think my goal range is 9.7-9.11. For now anyway! Basically always striving to get to 9.7 but I probably never will but try not to go over 9.11.

@hollyblueivy hope your week is going ok and you’re in a good headspace with it all.

@jelly79 did you manage to get focused for holiday?

yes running must make you hungry good idea to drop that a little or even a shorter run?
it’s crazy that a slice of bread can make u gain 😂 though course it’s not fat but the scales are upsetting none the less!

yea I go away sat to Monday and have a lot of meals and drinks and will def gain!!!!

im hungry and DH who is quite frankly
underweight somehow is eating toberlone!

Lamb tagine for dinner with loads of salad and bare naked rice.

think I’m finishing the night on 723. Unless I fancy a mini pack of skittles 😂😄

I filled myself up with some really healthy snacks earlier- celery dipped in some Moroccan hummus and then a courgette peeled into strips with some Asian sauce on it. I’ll defo be doing that again!

@Serialcatmum I am not at my finish point just yet but think taking the pressure off with a bit of maintenance could help.

I think I will weigh tomorrow and then set a bracket/range to maintain at for a couple of weeks and see how I feel after that.

I will aim to weigh every other day for that time to make sure I'm within the range and go lighter on calories if it creeps up further.

@Smartmove yeah I think just a goal range is my new way of thinking. I hate kicking myself and being down because of a number, one number feels so hard to reach. Range more doable?! My dh is the same. Can sit and wfh all day knowing there is chocolate in the house and doesn’t even consider eating it. Madness! Sounds a great weekend. Enjoy!

@hollyblueivy sorry you’re having a tough time. Don’t be hard on yourself. We all have these moments of not being able to get in the zone. Just try to maintain where you are. Can feel so overwhelming sometimes.

9.11 here. Went for a run today. Should be a good day!

10.3.5 here so maintained been good all week except one bad day . Was that on Sunday last week . My cals this week have averaged 1400 so would have hoped for at least 0.5 off maybe if I had today and tmrw I would have made it!
still have today to see if I can get it just below but then I enter maintenance! / gain from the weekend and loose it again!

@hollyblueivy yes don’t be hard on ur self. We have all been there. This isn’t easy.

will report weight tmrw but hopefully will be at goal which is now in the 10.3s!

Morning all, well I weighed and it came in at 10:11:5 which is actually the lightest I've been in June. Phew. Wasn't expecting that at all.

Perhaps the not weighing was playing mind games with me. Maybe I wasn't as bad yesterday as I thought I was. I haven't exercised this week either since Monday so maybe some retained water weight has gone.

Either way I'm happy with that but think I'll still give myself a break and switch to maintain for a couple of weeks.

Maintenance Range: 10:9:5- 10:12:5

Will weigh tomorrow and then every other day.

im 2 stone down post partum :)

im very worried re maintaining coz I feel like I’ve been trying and basically maintained this last few weeks / lost a pound. It’s so hard!!!

@Smartmove You're only half a pound away from your target weight so if you had your bracket as 2-3lb either side of that rather than a single weight number you should be able to move within that range over the week / weekends. I don't think your eating habits will change that much.

I should end on 900 but my carbs r high today as been running around like a loon didn’t eat and crashed and had a latter and biscuits for my lunch!!!! Suspect I’ll be the same but ill Take that!

Had an apple for breakfast and a tin of tuna with scrambled eggs for lunch, felt like it was a bit of a strange combo but wanted low cal and high protein. I think for dinner I'll have some chicken with carrot and swede mash. Would love to see a slight drop tomorrow.

Socials over the weekend so there will be an increase but I'll aim to remain in my maintenance bracket or get back into it after I weigh in Monday.

Am off diet and will return on Tuesday with prob a decent gain but ready to loose it and keep weight at 10.3ish

9.11 here. Bit disappointed as such a good day yesterday, which is always hard on a Friday. Garmin says I burnt 2400 cals and I definitely ate a lot less than that.
Big run this morning and today will be out of my control. Will enjoy it today and next weigh Monday after a good day tomorrow.

10:10:8 today - it has a 10 in it which is the first time in about three months so that's a win!

Strange how this is the week I've done the least fitness with only one gym session on Monday.

I'm still going to enter maintenance for a couple of weeks to hopefully settle a bit then push on further.

@Smartmove Have a great weekend. I'm the same once I'm a few drinks in, diet doves head first out the window!!

@Bubbles44 Don't be too down, you do a lot of exercise so could just be retained water. Do you hydrate well?

Predictably bad day yesterday. I ran 10K which was good but lots of sweet treats. Dread to think cals and sugar! Decided to not run today, felt like i needed a rest. Will next run on Tuesday. Might weigh Wednesday if I can wait that long. I think if I’m above 9.11 it will set me back. So hope to be 9.11 Wednesday. Anything less is a bonus.
