I was 10:9:3 today so slight drop on yesterday

I could manage the 10:8:5 I'd like but Friday if I put my mind to it.

Had soup and toasted bread for lunch
Pork noodles for dinner

Had two chocolate bars today - no willpower!

No gym either - too many errands at home

10:9:9 - can I do just over a pound in the next two days

maybe an omelette for lunch and try to avoid carbs

Dinner is chilli con carne with rice - will go easy on rice and have a bit of side salad

I’m 3 pound on which is disappointing but I had pasta for dinner so carb heavy.
hopefully will lose a couple if I go back to being good. Eggs and toast for brunch, not sure about dinner yet!

Didn't close the kitchen till 7:30

But I have a bit of a tummy bug! I don't feel unwell at all but I am thinking I may have a loss this week 🙏🤣🙈

You're doing well and even though I've been far from 100% on it, I haven't gone so far the other way to put me back to square one which I think is mostly in part to this thread.

10:9:7 today

I've broadly maintained this week and although I'd have liked to have seen a loss, I'm glad I haven't put on.

Will weigh and check in in the morning.

I don't have any crazy plans this weekend but expect some food and drink will be consumed.

If I can linger between 10:8:5 and 10:9:5 between now and Christmas I think that will be a win.

Expect during Christmas and new year to see a gain as I'm off and will have to work my way through food and meals out and drinks. That's fine though I am fully prepared to be on the wagon come January.

made my original goal when starting this thread yay! 12 pounds gone . Been good and focussed this week . Plan is to be 10.7.5 tmrw and then 10.7 for next Friday am

today food
yoghurt berries
eggs
tuna salad

I’m out tmrw night but planning on starting on plan all day and then have family over Sunday day which will be hard to navigate so will spend Monday to Thursday removing gain and I’m hoping loosing 0.5.

Friday my Xmas festivities begin and so will the gain! But will keep checking in !!

I managed to weigh in at 10:8:6 today which is near as damn it to my goal of 10:8:5 for the week.

I had max mackerel toast for lunch yesterday and chops, roast potatoes and beans for dinner.

Made the mistake of baking a cake, so had that for pudding and of course I'll go back for more today.

I think we're all doing great considering it's a week till Christmas on Monday.

@stillholly yes I do. I feel so much better. People have started commenting a lot as well this last 2 weeks. I think it’s also coz I’m wearing my more fitted clothes. I’m so much happier

however saying that I still have a huge tummy and I need to become more healthy in the way I eat . I don’t hit my fibre target and I’m not exercising enough. This sat and Sunday hoping 30 min hit each day. Any tips for the post 2 babies and approaching 40 tummy?! My bmi is 23.7 now 10.3 my goal makes it 23.

this thread has hugely helped me! At times I usually give up I come on here see how great u all being and think I can do it too! So thank u. I hope it continues in the new year. I know I’ll gain but hoping it comes off quickly . I really want to be goal quickly as I’m a bit tedious of it all and looking fwd to more family meals where I don’t omit carbs , more excercise as I’m not keeping calories so low and toning my body and maintaining.

I’m 9.7 today, had a bit of a bug this week so not been dieting but not going crazy either. Nothing planned until next Friday night now so no real reason to not carry on this week!
I’ve really enjoyed this thread too, nice to chat to supportive people in the same boat.

Taken so much strength to not eat crap today! Ended on about 1400 and too many carbs which I’m annoyed over as I won’t be 10.7.5 tmrw now!

10.8 today didn’t make my goal and actually gained 0.2

busy weekend now so expect a gain for Monday . Really want to be 10.7 for next Friday

I didn't weight this morning, up and dressed and out early and had my coffee now so will weigh tomorrow.

Had wine and takeaway last night so would have been a gain anyway. That's the thing if I don't have a social on the weekend. I feel like I should have treats at home rather than being good like I am in the week - need to try to break that a bit next year.

Not going out or having takeaway today so will cook dinner at home and try to stay away from the alcohol.

I completely agree too! 'Oh it's the weekend' is a default for me but I always have a 3 days weekend!
I keep a bit more restrained than I used to but it's definitely what hinders my progress! Having said that I enjoy it too and typically feel guilt free 🤣

I didn't eat much yesterday but what I did eat was absolutely crap! I felt unwell so just had what I fancied

Drew a line at 6 and I was hungry about 9 when BF got the snacks out but I abstained. Will fast until lunch today

A win today was making homemade butternut squash soup for lunch. (I had it with about 300 calories worth of sourdough baked bread though!)

It was so filling I can't imagine I'll be too hungry for dinner. I am just going to do a jar curry which isn't the best but is better than eating out or take out.

Still have a fuzzy head from the wine last night so don't even fancy a drink tonight thankfully.

I am baking again though. So there will be pudding.

Bit of a mixed bag.

a few mince pies (mini)
did 11 thousand steps
30 mins intense hit

and im up 3 pounds. Gonna spend next week loosing that annoyingly.

oh well it’s Xmas.goal for Friday 10.7.5….lets see if I make it

Morning hope you all had a good weekend.

One more week to go until Christmas and I've broadly managed not to go completely mental with food and drink.

I was surprised to see 10:7:5 on the scales today, which i think goes to show what you can do on a weekend when you don't get caught up in the oh it's the weekend theme. Will try to work on this more in January.

My BMI is 26.1 and body fat percentage is 24.9

well I had a Chinese feast last night and coupled with my food on sat night and wine the damage is 4.5 pounds!

so I’m 10.12.5! I did go quite wild to be fair! I need to stop doing this. Anyways let’s go. I have Monday to Thursday to loose that and a bit more I’m hoping it’s due to the very salty Chinese yesterday!

I’m 10.8.5 today. Now going out on Thursday lunch so I’ll have 3 days and then I’m out for Christmas. Going to try and be good for 3 days as I want to wear my new dress Friday night!
@Smartmove Chinese food is sooo carby and salty, I’m sure it’s water weight!

10.9 today
plan still to be 10.7.5 Friday. Think possible if really good. Hopefully a pound off overnight (that Chinese was terrible for water gain!) and then 0.5 off on Thursday. Then Xmas fun begins.

Morning, well done on still going and trying to the end of the week!

I didn't fancy stepping on the scales again this morning. Haven't been awful but I don't think the scales would have brought good news.

I have the last of the soup I made to finish for my lunch today so will have that with some cheese and bread.

Dinner will be as light as I can make it given that this is probably the last day I can be this good.

Tomorrow will be a festive lunch with work
Friday will be general treats
Saturday will be drinks
Having takeaway Sunday
Then the big day followed by a week off

I'll have a think about the tips

My aim is to enjoy what I like without being greedy if that makes sense. Not just eating things for the sake of it.
