I managed.
luckily wasn’t having a hungry am.
had 2 eggs with some cheddar
2 bacon and a load of veg boiled
followed by some dark choc

dinner tonight - chicken grilled. Really want a glass of wine 🙈

@hollyblueivy I’ve done a couple of half marathons but just prefer to get up and out or meet with friends for a run rather than the pressure of a race. Maybe I should challenge myself more! I do 2 or 3 5ks a week and 2 10Ks. How is yours going?

@Smartmove hope pt went well. Hope you can keep on track and resist today, but definitely don’t beat yourself up if you don't. Is it next weekend you’re away?

I’ve had a good day. Broke at 2 with fruit, nuts, kefir and dark chocolate and just had a massive salad and Greek yogurt and closed now. Not sure if I should weigh in the morning or not.

@Bubbles44 i would weigh that sounds like a close to perfect day and hopefully will spur u on.

i failed. But less hugely that I would usually.
I had 1 glass of wine and half a magnum. And a handful of chips. These were extra everything else was on plan.

good things about today - I walked 9000 steps and had my first PT session. I didn’t keep drinking. I didn’t have a choc bar or a whole icecream on top of the above like I normally would.

bad things - I had the above! I’m coming in at 1600 cals which is my maintence calories .

Monday prob won’t bring me 10.7!!

tmrw will need to be a super strict pull back day

@Bubbles44 That's a decent amount of running in the week, do you get your and do them all early? I tend to just do a bit of running at the end of my gym/weights workout and not really running outside at the moment. Thinking about trying to pick it up in the mornings from home then just focusing on weights in the gym.

@Smartmove You've shown great control today and I'd take that as a win overall. Tell us more about your PT session, what are your goals?

I've had three bits of cake today and no exercise.
Plus lunch and dinner. No alcohol is probably the only win.

I just had my initial session today - but I can’t walk!!!! God help me on them when they start

I’ve told her my aim is to loose this last half a stone and then maintain. To make excercise a normal fundamental part of life for overall better health now I’m getting older . I want to know wot to do and then after a few months prob do it myself coz I quite afford it forever! She’s pro peloton which is great so I can do that at home without her but she will add on some resistance and weights onto my sessions I wasn’t doing. And once a week she will come and work me out with resistance

well done on the no alcohol it’s empty calories so I’m sure that will show on Monday weigh in

@hollyblueivy yes I have to do it first thing before the kids are up or I wouldn’t fit it in. Puts me in a good mindset for the day. I think id struggle to motivate myself to go if I did it later on in the day! Sounds like a positive weekend. No alcohol is a definite win. I’m sure 10.10 is doable for Friday.

@Smartmove I don’t really track calories. I just try to eat as clean as possible. I’d guess I’m on around 1600 a day. Sometimes I over do the the nuts and yogurt (and the not so clean chocolate and cake). PT sounds great. Good way to change things around. I love d the thought of more resistance training.

Well 9.12 today. Struggling to budge from here. Going for my run now and then a busy day that I’ll try and fast through. Would be amazing if I could be 9.11 tomorrow and start the week well. We’ll see what happens!

11:0:01 today - crept ever so slightly into 11's but not so much that it's an issue.

90min workout and brunch so far with a roast later on. I am going to have a couple of drinks and pudding to round off the weekend.

The 10:10:00 goal remains whatever I weigh at tomorrow and will do a long fast mid week if movement is slow.

Hi all

well I can’t walk today. Shows how little I excercise usually. So much pain.

wondering about weighing on Tuesday as it’s my ovulation week and I have severe DOMS and usually hold on to water . Will decide in morning don’t want to be pissed off. Going to start doing measurements too when I prop start with PT

today I’ve had
puriton shake
tuna coleslaw salad
take away tonight but having only grilled chicken and I’ll make a side salad for myself

Very low carbs to counteract yest icecream and wine!

@Bubbles44 i feel ur frustration im also at that plateau weight and i feel like i have to be a saint every day to get to where i want. This last half a stone is going to kill me!!!!

@hollyblueivy enjoy today. U will be at 10.10 before u Know it.

my goal was 10.5/6 for Friday. Suspect I won’t be there! Will keep on the focus….

So I ended up eating at 10am. Felt so hungry after my run. Had a bowl of seeds, nut and berries and kefir. Lots of tea during the the day. Then closed with an apple, Greek yogurt and dark chocolate. Still hungry but going to be strong. See what tomorrow brings. I feel bloated so just not feeling hopeful, but must keep going.

@smartmove Gin always says about the measurements so a great idea.

Well today was going great
on plan low carb etc
then got a last minute invite to a friends and the only thing they had was pizza ! I just had 2 slices but I was literally so ravenous I was going to explode

its coming in at 1400 and a lot of carbs
not sure tmrw will bring any good news.
kinda giving up hope I’ll ever get more weight off its so hard I mean what are you supposed to do??

I also did no excercise coz I could only just move about!!!!

I have no meals / no outings / no visits this week but then I leave on Friday! :(

Ah I feel the pain @Smartmove . I did so well today. Then became ravenous and eaten loads this evening 😔. I think maybe I was too restrictive?!? So annoyed with myself!
1400 is still really low. Hope you get a pleasant surprise when you weigh. Not sure when I’ll weigh now! Can’t handle the bad news!

Honestly just want to throw towel in. I had thought they would have something I could nibble on but pizza really is the worst. I mean this is life I know that but how do you get to where u want and continue to have a life.
i already said no to some drinks this week as wanted to stay focussed.

@bubbles don’t sweat it. Just get back on tmrw. We all have difficult days. Which is why we are here. I often have those days but I must say since upping my cals I don’t as much - but then I’m not loosing any weight!!!!!!

I’m just cross I caved and ate rubbish. I’d done so well up until that point. I think my triggers are when I’m out of routine/control. Need to plan better and think more about my future self! Sometimes so easy others so hard. Probably won’t weigh until Wednesday now at the earliest. Need to plan for the weekend.

@Smartmove hope it goes well for you this week. Hope the weigh in gives you a nice surprise. Sounds like lots of positives from the weekend.

@Bubbles44 we have all been there! Usually at least once a fortnight for me….sometimes more

i was 10.7 2.5 weeks ago but an afternoon tea and carb binge for days following it has meant I just haven’t gotten back there. I was also 10.7 briefly at the start of the month. Last time I weighed I was 10.9. I’m prob looking at a maintain for the whole of this month. Which is quite depressing! But actually I think it’s because my bad days r so out of control. I feel I’m getting a bit of a handle on this and hopefully May will a drop?!

I feel like I’m going to be 60 and still doing this! (Am 40 in June so really want it over with and in maintence by my bday!)

im weighing tmrw. today is tightening up on those carbs! No pizza that’s for sure.
will have some miso soup if hungry I find that kills the pangs.

I think overall we didn't do too badly this weekend, yes my two drinks ended up being three and my one pudding ended up being two, but I know I could have been much much worse over the whole weekend.

10:13:9 this morning which is a measly 0:0:2 off from yesterday but pleased with that as one, it's a loss going from Sunday to Monday which is usually a gain and two, it's below the 11 stone mark.

Still broadly 4lb I want off by Friday, if I don't get it by Friday then Saturday. (But really want it for Friday.)

Are we all hitting that Monday reset button today for a super week?!

General plans for the week:
Lunch and dinner only - focus on protein and packing meals out with veg or salad
Snacking on fruit only if needed
Aim for at least 1.5L water per day
Up to 4 coffees per day
Exercise at least three times (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday)

A heavy few days in my world but I am switched on this morning! I am planning a 36 hour fast to reset my mind a bit. Also cleansing of the snack temptation's that are clearly getting in the way of any progress x

I’m ending on 970 cals and hungry! Meant to be 900 but ate some noodles and a miso soup. Going to weigh wed as tmrw is my home day and I end up snacking! So hoping not weighing will keep me strong and I won’t snack!

Felt so annoyed at myself today for yesterday. But lesson learned I guess(for now)! Been a good day as I still felt full from yesterday. Not sure when I’ll weigh next. Maybe Wednesday. I think if I see it’s gone up too much I’ll feel rubbish! But early run tomorrow and another long fast should hopefully get me back on track.

10:13:9 today. Which is the same as yesterday.

Stuck to coffee and water, lunch was a sandwich and dinner was chicken with sweet potato and veg. No snacking. Hour weight training.

A good day on paper so thought I may have seen a drop today. Hopefully will catch up tomorrow.

Lunch - omelette and salad
Dinner - Chicken pasta salad
Eating window likely to be 12:30-7:30 today

Weighing tmrw !
I checked I was 10.8.4 last Tuesday and 10.9 last wed. I’m not feeling any slimmer let’s see what tmrw brings
my legs still hurt!!!
just broken fast with PB yog and strawberries
got kale bacon goats cheese for lunch but may alter this is a friend pops over to smoked salmon salad
dinner is eggs.
I would love to be 10.7 tmrw but I suspect that won’t happen!

Couldn’t resist this morning. I was 10! Dread to think what o would have been yesterday morning!
Run done, fast until 5.30 and small portions again! Would love 9.11 by Friday but doubt that.
Hope it’s a good day for everyone.
Staring to stress about the weekend and a busy few weeks coming up!
