Morning to you all.

Why is this so hard...!! I've woke up with a headache and hungry' HIIT done and just going to power through but when I break the fast I just can't stop! I need to get rid of all the trashy snacks out the house!!

I ate 11-6 yesterday! Pretty decent stuff until I savaged an Easter egg walking out the door and then felt sick! It feels like I am sabotaging myself 🤨

@Smartmove Great self awareness and sounds like a good plan all round. I'm the same with the sabotage when my weight starts to get a bit lower.

@Bubbles44 stick with it and you'll see the benefit soon. Like @Smartmove asked @jelly79 what is your water intake like? It's annoying when you don't see the results quickly.

I'm 10:12:8 today so glad to be back in the 10's. No real plan for the rest of the week aside from staying in the 10's. I don't want to be creeping back into the 11's every weekend.

Will see what I am on Friday and will set myself a weight loss goal for the following Friday.

Well done being back in the 10s lovely! Breaking on to that new stone is always a boost!

for anyone who feels socials and holidays are what stops them getting to goal episode 675 esg fitness is totally perfect

glad I’ve listened to it pre my holiday. Really want to come back from it maintaining (only 3 days away so should be possible). Going to think about how I’m going to do that today …

on plan so far and will remain so all day (positive thinking and all that!) . Eggs are a winner for brekkie keep me full longer than anything else

looking fwd to not weighing for a while. Hopefully a pleasant surprise on Monday

@Smartmove Thanks for the recommendation of the podcast. Ill give that a go! Yes agree when I get to a certain weight I relax. Not sure why. You’d think it would be the opposite way!

@hollyblueivy great about being in the next bracket. Good motivation!

@jelly79 hope today has gone well. Hate last minute sabotage, feels so pointless when you have done so well all day!

I’ve fasted until 4. Eaten the usual! Just feel quite bloated at the moment. I’ve done over 20K steps every day and not eaten any processed food but feel a bit rubbish. I guess hormones!
I like the idea of not weighing daily. Might do it over the weekend, just hard to break away from!

@Bubbles44 im weighing obsessed! I’m looking fwd to staying on plan and getting a result next week (hopeful thinking!)

was good today. Stuck to plan at dinner . No carbs extra salad . There was dressing on it but got to live!

tmrw plan is
Puriton shake
avacado tuna salad
chicken arribiata no pasta

no plans this weekend so should manage to push through

been thinking about how to handle my weekend break. So far I have

  • 1 pudding a day. This is likely going to be after dinner rather than starting the day of with a stale choc crossiant and setting the day of as a disaster
  • high protein brekkie. This sets me up for the day.
  • no cocktails. Just full of sugar. Will stick to Prosecco and wine
  • no snacks. But 3 meals.

can anyone add anything else achievable. Would like to maintain/ gain odd pound not 6 like I usually do! whilst away .

9.12! Nearly gave in last night and ate cake at 8pm. So glad I didn’t. Fast today until 5.30!! I’ve felt really hungry the last few days. Hoping it will pass. Eaten really clean so hope that helps!

@smartmove I think your tactic of no sugar until later in the day is what will save you. If I start the day with sugar it’s a bad day! Will you get the opportunity to do lots of steps? Maybe that would help. Have fun though, that’s the most important bit! 3 days you can’t do too much damage.

Your plan for your few days away sounds like a good one. Not completely restricted but reasonable. Yes, steps are a good idea too if you're out and about. I won't make it to the gym today so was thinking a walk would be a good idea.

10:12:1 today so chipping away.

Plan today 12-6 eating window
Omelette and salad for lunch after 12pm
Chicken and sweet potato dinner 6ish
Few coffees
Few waters
Walk

I was 11.10 when I started fasting. Want to get comfortably in the 9’s. So I guess 9’7 so when I bounce up I’m 9’10. It a battle.

I find fasting through breakfast in hotels is easier for me. Definitely feel like I’m missing out though but struggle to not have ALL the sweet treats. I’m veggie so savoury is a little harder at breakfast for me. You’ll do fine I’m sure. The fact you’re even considering it will help and you have a plan.

@hollyblueivy glad it’s going the right way. Sounds a good plan today. Hope we can all stay strong over the weekend!

Good day yesterday. Long fast, healthy food.

9.12 today. Same as last week. 2 less than Monday! Feel a little deflated as had good fasts, no sugar and lots of movement. It’s not going up at least!

Feeling good about this weekend. Lots of running. Keep busy and distracted!

@hollyblueivy I love gin. She is so relatable. Her podcast fasting stories is fab.

@Smartmove sounds like not weighing is going well. 🤞🤞 for Monday!

Plan today. Run done. Will eat around lunch time. Determined to have a good weekend!!

@Bubbles44 rem how much you have lost! And I imagine you’re at a very healthy weight. These last few pounds will be tougher but it will happen!

I am tempted to weigh!!!! But then worried I’ll misbehave at weekend if I see a good number on scales.

That feels like a long week to me this week, glad it's Friday and could do with the weekend but not the usual derailing that comes with it.

Seems like we're all trying to get our heads in a better place so I'm going to put it out there that I want to lose 3lb by next Friday.

10:13:00 today (cake yesterday and chicken dinner ended up being curry) so want to be 10:10:00 by next Friday. It is doable on the basis that I don't go crazy this weekend.

Will try to do some form of exercise Friday Saturday and Sunday even if it's just a walk.

Well done ladies in your efforts, keep going. We got this.

It's been a busy week for me, my daughter had her birthday on Sunday so there was cake and a McDonald's as that was what she wanted. Otherwise I have been on track and doing well with fasting, despite the odd bit of birthday cake to hoover up. Down another 1.5 pounds to 10.9.5 so going in the right direction.

I am currently 41 hours into a 42 hour fast, my longest ever. Feel okay but I can tell my body wants to conserve energy as I really cba to do anything, but I have to as it's time for the school run so here we go 😂

@Snappyfaceohwell so hard when there are birthdays in the the house. And all the cake. Well done for not gaining. That’s impressive, 42 hours. Are you hungry or have you gone through that? I’ve considered ADF but I just look forward to my cups of tea and my fruit and nut bowl every evening.

@hollyblueivy sounds like a good plan. 🤞 for next Friday and a good loss, I’m really focused on next Friday too.

Just realised it’s bank holiday next weekend and we are away for a couple of nights 🤦‍♀️

@Smartmove it is so hard not weighing, especially when you think you’ve lost. Hope today goes well, sounds like you’re in the zone!

I was a bit early eating today at 10. Needed a cup of tea so had some food too. Won’t eat until dinner now and then close by 5.30!

I’ve had a blip. Not gone totally crazy. But had some chocolate, cake and crackers which I hadn’t planned. Still feel in control of the weekend. Long run in the morning and a good day!

Didn’t weigh today, will do tomorrow or Monday. Have done a long run. I think the sugar I had yesterday actually helped as felt I had more energy. Now to stay on track with food. Will try and fast until late afternoon.

my cals r creeping up again. I’m going to be so mad if I’ve not dropped below 10.9 on Monday! I’ve been dithering at this weight for months on end!!!

so going to try skip brekkie and have a brunch at 11ish if i can. My body is used to 3 small meals…

Fingers crossed we can all power through today and tick it off as a reasonable one for a weekend.

@Smartmove Let us know how you manage with skipping the meal, try not to let yourself get too hungry though where you may undo your hard work. You're doing well not to weigh and hope you see what you want when you step on the scales.

Well done on your run @Bubbles44 what kind of distances do you do? Do you enter races?

I cancelled my scheduled class this morning, just couldn't get my ass up! There's plenty of time today to get some movement in though.

Weighed at 10:13:4 - glad it didn't take me into the 11's and also not too bad considering takeaway. I did try to dish myself up a smaller than usual portion so there was some mindfulness there.

Going to add loads of fruit veg and salad into the shopping this week for snacks and to bulk out meals - I really want that 10:10 by next Friday.
