I had 1.5 glass of processo and I did have some choc cake. Back on low carb tmrw . Def be a gain again tmrw!

Bubbles44 · 20/04/2024 19:21

Bad day!!!! Really good up until 5pm and then had cake, biscuits and chocolate for dinner. Closed now but so frustrated. So tired which hasn’t helped.

Will do a 10K in the morning and be really strict. Probably won’t weigh in until Monday as don’t want bad news tomorrow!

Smartmove · 21/04/2024 07:55

@Bubbles44 we all have similar issues over the weekend especially. Hope u have a good one today

I’ve stayed the same so must have eaten close to maintence yest which is good. Time to shed some more till I get on that plane.
chia pudding for brekkie
kale bacon goats cheese
home made sharwama chicken and salad

Bubbles44 · 21/04/2024 12:39

Sounds like a good weekend. I would definitely take a maintain.

So far so good today. Long run. Will have some breakfast soon. Last minute invite to a friend’s for dinner. A bit nervous as want to stay as low as I can today for tomorrow’s weigh in, so I will be as sensible as I can!

Smartmove · 21/04/2024 18:36

Hope you managed @Bubbles44 its very hard in social situations they r my weakness
managed on 1300 today and 30g carbs
was noticeably harder after the cake yest. I had a Babybel and some peanut butter to keep me going

Hopefully tmrw the hunger will start calming down again tmrw

hollyblueivy · 21/04/2024 20:10

@Smartmove sounds like you've had a reasonable weekend.

@Bubbles44 hope your dinner was ok for you.

11:1:2 today - going too far in the wrong direction. Need to have a good few days.

It’s hard isn’t it. Felt like I didn’t do too bad. Didn’t close until 8 though which is late for me.
@hollyblueivy I’m sure you’ll get back into it this week. Monday is always a good motivation 🤞.
@Smartmove hope your control has paid off.
I’m 10 this morning. But feeling positive. 4 long fasts in row. My thing this week is no snacking on nuts. Not much on this week and weekend so need to keep going!

Morning girls
I’m 10.9 today which is fine post weekend. Still 2 more than 2 weeks ago when I was 10.7 I’m really hoping to get there midweek as still think some of it is water from last week

fingers crossed

2 boiled eggs
tuna salad
more of my chicken sharwana and salad

hollyblueivy · 22/04/2024 07:32

Morning. That's another weekend out the way.

11:2:7 for me today which is the heaviest I've weighed in ages, probably about a year. So something needs to happen to get back to the range around 10:9:0 ish and then hopefully below.

April has been a month of slowing creeping up in weight. Clearly the calories must have increased and bad habits but I don't feel like I've been all out off plan.

Monday is a good reset day and I'm aiming for a really good week. I want to be back in the 10 stone bracket by Friday. So say 3lb off this week.

Plan
Coffee for breakfast
Light protein lunches and dinners with low carb
All the water
3x workouts

No crap, snacks, choc, cake etc.

Morning!

Not too much destruction this weekend and managed a 17k run yesterday!
Done a cardio and kettle bell hiit today

I'm just so hungry but I think it's boredom working and being and home with the weather so shit.

Today

6am hiit
11am porridge, PB, banana, seeds
1pm salmon salad
Yoghurt protein powder and blueberries
2:45 handful of pretzels and plum

Smartmove · 22/04/2024 17:28

Afternoon. I stayed on plan except for 200 cals of dark choc and a bite of cake.
So I squeezed in a 20 min pelaton

hoping I’m still in a deficit feeling guilty!

Bubbles44 · 22/04/2024 17:53

Well done on the long run @jelly79

@Smartmove I’m
Sure that wont effect things too much. Sounds like a good day!

I fasted until 4.30. Had berries, seeds, nuts and kefir. Dark chocolate. Chickpea, lentil and roasted veg salad and Geek yogurt! Hope I get some good movement on the scale this week 🤞🤞.

Before Christmas my set point was 9.9 now it’s 9.13. Been battling these pounds since Christmas. It’s exhausting. All that Christmas chocolate was definitely not worth it!

Bubbles44 · 23/04/2024 06:55

9.13! Just done my run and will fast today until 6ish!!

Smartmove · 23/04/2024 06:55

10.8.4 today so a drop. Really hoping to be back at 10.7 by tmrw or Thursday.
plan today

yoghurt berries PB
egg white omelette with bacon and kale
chicken and veg

no dark choc today. 1000 cals. No HiT but 10000 steps as home with toddler and will walk to schooo and town

hollyblueivy · 23/04/2024 07:30

Morning,

Well done on your run @Bubbles44 sounds like you do a good mix of exercise. Do you do something most days?

@Smartmove yay for your drop, hopefully get a bit more in the next day or so.

I'm 11:0:5 today, which I'm pleased with as that's 2.2lb down from yesterday and I could be back in the 10's by tomorrow.

Aside from coffee I am thinking about fasting until dinner at around 6ish but not sure I can. I have a workout planned this afternoon and wondering about energy levels.

jelly79 · 23/04/2024 07:43

F*cks sake! Weighed myself! First time in ages and I'm 10:11 which is frustrating

I am just so hungry all the time

Yesterday

6am HIIT
10am porridge, PB, granola, banana
1pm salmon salad
Yoghurt protein and blueberries
Plums
6:30pm Pitta with turkey, bacon, lettuce and tomato
Reese's chocolate egg and toblerone

(Vaguely what I ate yesterday)

Plan today

HIIT and short run done
Fast until 12!!!
Eat 12-5 (high protein)
Lots of water
Fast from 5

Listen to music when working to distract and maybe give me the dopamine I am looking for in chocolate (long shot)

Smartmove · 23/04/2024 07:58

@jelly79 are u drinking enough water? Lots of herbal teas to keep u fill and busy? (How depressing!)
Try 2 days no sugar or choc and u may find it makes it easier for u then u can bring in small bits (least that’s what I had to do and then brought dark choc back in!)
u do excercise a lot so I’m not surprised tbh!

@Bubbles44 fingers crossed u keep dropping

@hollyblueivy fab . Keep going! U been good to keep weighing and coming back in here so u haven’t completely gone off track

jelly79 · 23/04/2024 10:06

Thanks lovely! I don't drink near enough of anything except coffee 🤨🙃

Smartmove · 23/04/2024 12:18

I’m craving carbs today! I was super hungry and so just added a slice of sourdough to my huge egg white omelette
need to stop it there and not keep eating till next meal now!

Smartmove · 23/04/2024 16:01

I’ve had a slice of cake and kids pancakes
an ok cal wise but way over carbs atm

need to try skip dinner which is so unhealthy!!!! aghhhhhh! Def not 10.7 tmrw

hollyblueivy · 23/04/2024 18:04

@jelly79 you're very active and I guess the half marathon training is going to increase your hunger. You will need to fuel your runs but as you suggest high protein is probably a good way to go.

I managed to fast all day until 6pm, haven't done that in a while. Had one coffee all day then just squash. Wasn't as bad as I thought but could feel that I didn't have the usual energy for my workout. Still did it though and just about to have a chicken dinner. Just hoping I don't end up eating back the calories I saved from not having lunch this evening!!!!

OP posts:
Bubbles44 · 23/04/2024 19:08

@hollyblueivy I know that’s the challenge after the longer fast isn’t it. Not eating too much 😬. I run about 30K a week. Try and do weights a few nights a week too. Need to mix it up a bit more really.

Good day. Fasted until 6. Berries, nuts, seeds and kefir. Dark chocolate. Lentil salad. Greek yogurt! 22K steps. Feel bloated though, so not much hope for the scale!

@Smartmove hope the rest of the day went ok. Hard when temptation is everywhere!
@jelly79 hope you managed to stick to your plan!

Bubbles44 · 24/04/2024 06:52

9.13!!!! I knew I wasn’t going to drop. Trying to stay focused and not get annoyed.
Run done. Will fast until 4ish today!

Smartmove · 24/04/2024 07:31

Well I’m back to 10.9 which is entirely my fault. I had 2 slices of cake and a round of toast. Why can’t I just have 1 slice of cake???
I’ve planned my week ahead and I’ve decided not to weigh till next Monday as I relax once I see 10.8 on scales and start sabotaging my hard work.
I know why I’m not loosing. I need to stop these mini overeating episodes

today in our for dinner but with a friend who is also on a diet and we both having the chicken skewer and a salad no pudding no rice and I’m driving no drink.

im going to try push to 10am to eat today and carry around a boiled egg if i get peckish after the carbs yest!

i better loose something these next few days. Time to turn the dial up!

hollyblueivy · 24/04/2024 07:34

@Bubbles44 stick with it and you'll see the benefit soon. Like @Smartmove asked @jelly79 what is your water intake like? It's annoying when you don't see the results quickly.

I'm 10:12:8 today so glad to be back in the 10's. No real plan for the rest of the week aside from staying in the 10's. I don't want to be creeping back into the 11's every weekend.

Will see what I am on Friday and will set myself a weight loss goal for the following Friday.
