all the sugar has been put out of sight!

hollyblueivy · 04/04/2024 22:46

10:12:1 today so not much movement. Been an ok day but the chocolate fell in my mouth again.

I did work out so pleased to have done three days this week.

Will check in weight in the morning.

10.9 today. Had a good day yest. Should make 10.6 next sat. Looking fwd to entering the weekend being on plan.
@hollyblueivy u done a lot of excercise I find a lag in the scales as water retention due to some muscle repair.

hollyblueivy · 05/04/2024 17:41

You should be ok to get 3lb off in just over a week. Keep checking in!

10:11:9 for me today. I know it's still on the heavier side for me but I feel a lot better after being good for a few days. The weekend is here and I have a few things on which will involve food and drinks. I'm going to enjoy the weekend and I know in my mindset that I will be straight back on from Monday. I only have one thing on next weekend so should be able to make some good progress after this weekend.

I am really up for exercise at the moment too so that will be in the plan for next week.

Smartmove · 05/04/2024 17:44

@hollyblueivy enjoy ur weekend! Well done for getting out of the 10s.

i reckon 1.5/2 it is water still so that should be off in a day a too. Then the last 1.5 be tougher but im gonna do it!

ha!!! I’m the same @hollyblueivy
10.8 this am. Think that’s all the water weight from my egg eating! Now turn to burn some fat
got to drop 2 this week. Plan to have blueberries in cinema :)

Smartmove · 07/04/2024 09:45

Not weighed today as away but was semi good yest. Had seconds of dinner but no sugar and no alcohol. Hoping it was a maintain. Fingers crossed for a loss after today and 10.7.5 tmrw or around that

hollyblueivy · 07/04/2024 09:59

Not weighed either but it would be a gain. I've had a bottle of wine over Friday and Saturday, carb heavy meals and puddings.

hollyblueivy · 08/04/2024 07:29

Welcome back @jelly79

Well done for very straight back into it and good luck for your day 1.

How are you having your eggs for breakfast? I love eggs they're so versatile.

100k steps woah that's loads! How is the training going and how many miles are you up to now?

I'm seriously thinking of maybe signing up to a September or October race.

Welcome back @jelly79 ! Ur so motivated when ur on it. Well done! Hope u had a fab holiday. @hollyblueivy how did ur weekend go?

im 10.7 today which surprised me (in a good day!) . Should make 10.6 for sat fingers crossed. I’ve let my excercise slide so need to pick that up but goes to show I loose more when I don’t (but it’s not good for me!) . I think I end up eating back cals or getting hungry….

Ooh I love eggs in all the ways!

I didn't have them for breakfast in the end I skipped but will scramble some through my stir fry rather than noodles

I was up to 15k runs but I haven't ran for 2 weeks and this week will be difficult but I really need to make the time

Ooh do it! What type of race do you fancy x

Wow that's a brilliant weight @Smartmove 2well done. X

hollyblueivy · 08/04/2024 18:39

@jelly79

I'll be trying to base most of my meals around protein this week so eggs, beans and Greek yogurt will be staples I think.

I would have liked to have done a London half but a lot you have to ballot for. Probably something local and flat with half decent scenery and a long cut off time!

OP posts:
hollyblueivy · 08/04/2024 18:40

@Smartmove I'll let you know tomorrow when I weigh but I had lots of treats over the weekend so likely to weigh heavy tomorrow and convinced I look bloated.

Greek yoghurt with protein powder and blueberries is my go to!!

Eggs are tremendous

Tuna omelette
Frittata
Turkish eggs
Stir fry veg with scrambled eggs and soy sauce

Sardines or mackerel on ryvita is a great high protein breakfast

Ooh let's share food tips

Smartmove · 08/04/2024 21:06

@jelly79 i never thought of eggs and veg how do u do it coz it’s not all gooey. Make an omelette and then shred it in? Yum what a great idea!

i quite like portable mushrooms with garlic tomato puree mozarella and basil for a quick lunch .

I have a lot of yoghurt and berries

going to have passion fruit chia pudding this week for a change.

jelly79 · 09/04/2024 07:01

I just get a bag of stir fry veg, cook them and then make a well in the pan with some oil and scramble some eggs, when then are cooked mix in the veg and season (soy and chilli)

It's like an egg fuyoung! Filling too x

jelly79 · 09/04/2024 07:03

I have woke. Up without a plan!

HIIT done

Skip BF
Lunch eggs and salmon
Kefir and berries
Tea - unsure but will decide on something high protein soon

Smartmove · 09/04/2024 07:15

10.7.2 today. So a little up. Did have a mini icecream and maybe too much dinner. Maybe just natural variation. Will stick to my 3 meals only today

Smartmove · 09/04/2024 08:01

I’ve done same @jelly79 must not get complacent

gonna skip brekkie and have milky coffees (I put 30 mls in each)
then salmon avacado salad
and then miso aubergine for tea . Will be low in protein though so may throw in a boiled egg or something!

hollyblueivy · 09/04/2024 09:11

10:13:2 - just pleased not to be in the 11's again

I'm not setting any targets at the moment, trying to get myself back into it.

OP posts:
Smartmove · 09/04/2024 10:23

I got too hungry to skip brekkie. But have adjusted meals so that it’s in range
had eggs crème fraiche and ham.

@hollyblueivy good idea. U will be back in zone no time!

I really want to be 10.6 something by Thursday esp if I want 10.6 for sat. This next few days are not going to be easy!
