Weight is dropping well too, are you doing anything differently?

I have had some bad habits creep in with chocolate, pastries and oversized dinners. It's clearly showing on the scales.

I'd like to try to do a decent week from now to next Thursday so will see how that pans out. I won't be 10:8:5 by this Friday so pushing the goal to next Thursday.

im just accounting for everything I’ve eaten -not having the odd choc and not having the odd bite of toast . If I stick to 1000 cals and below I loose at a rate which keeps me motivated . I’ve also tried to walk or hit this week. I’ve kept carbs about 60g…

but really I’ve kinda jumped about this weight for months and I think / hoping I’ve just dropped my set point.

tbh I have been hungry at times and just had a miso soup to push through it (20 cals). It’s not really very sustainable but I just want it all
off so I can get into toning and maintence.

well done for continuing to weigh. I usually go into f it mode and don’t weigh eat loads and gain and then hop on 2 weeks later shocked!

I also tried to maintain this weekend and was careful rather than totally letting go of the reigns. Think that’s what I need to do. This weekend I have friends over for 2 nights and we have a lot of food and chocolate! (Luckily none of us r going to drink !)

10:13:4 - I've dived head first off the wagon and the track isn't even in sight for me to get back on!

I'm not sure what's going on with me at the moment but something needs to click back. I'm still exercising but my food choices are rubbish. A mountain of white bread, steady flow of chocolate and whoever else I fancy when I fancy it.

It goes to show that you do have to be disciplined when trying to lose or even maintain weight and it creeps on far too quickly for my liking.

Who knows what may happen over Easter. I may just try to get it out my system this weekend to hopefully start fresh on Tuesday.

I will continue to weigh and check in though.

my aim was to 10.7 tmrw not sure I’ll make it but I can try. Need to not let any choc in (had a handful of mini eggs last night!)

You sound like you're really in the zone at the moment, prioritising your goal weight for next Friday over overindulging. Have a good day and I will be back on it from Tuesday may even do a fast but I always find them super hard after indulging as my stomach expects to be fed at regular intervals!

I was surprised to see 10:11:00 this morning, which is nearly 2.5lb off from yesterday. I ate white bread and chocolate again yesterday so I am a little confused with what's going on on the scales at the moment.

I have decided I will allow whatever I want over this weekend. I almost want to feel fed up of the crap so my body craves all the good fruit veg and salad that I intend to eat come Tuesday next week.

@jelly79 What frame of mind are you in for dieting at the moment and is the half marathon training going well?

@Chunkymonkey123 Would love to hear how your healthy eating approach is going.

I didn’t really maintain over this weekend whoops. I didn’t go crazy but I also enjoyed some meals out some cake some choc. I really enjoyed myself and now I’m getting back on it today. It may be tricky as guests still here and house is full of choc!

Hey how has everyone's weekend been?

I've enjoyed it, had plenty of chocolate and some alcohol. Tried to get a bit of movement in for balance but definitely been calorie heavy.

Will weigh tomorrow and see what the damage is and then my aim will be to try for three good days - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday just as a starter to ease myself into making good choices and habits again.

Likely to have lunch and dinner only, light lunch but with protein and normal dinner but load with veg or salad. No more snacking and more type like to do an hour of exercise on each of those days even if it is just a walk. Water water water.

Will take my weight tomorrow. Do my best for a few days and see what I can get to. Probably won't set any goals for the next week or two. Just try to do my best. Lower the pressure.

in 10.11 this am whoops. Means a 3.3 gain. Hoping it’s off by Thursday im back to 10.7.7 and can spend Thursday and Friday getting to 10.7?
I think im ovulating this week so may mean I don’t loose much as I def retain water that few days …let’s see how I go!

the weekend spikes r annoying but I had a good time :) this weekend I have one evening out only so shouldn’t cause too much gain?!

Your plan sounds realistic if you're in the right frame of mind for it, which you have been lately.

Ooohhh Shhhiiiitttt !!! I weighed at 11:00:1 this morning. First time since about May/June last year that I've been in the 11 stone bracket. I know it's only just in but that was a shock seeing that number this morning. Need to sort it out.

Coffee for breakfast - no sugar this week!!
Soup for lunch with no bread
Steak and salad for dinner with no carbs
Water
Workout

Hope I see a bit of a drop quickly to motivate me.

@hollyblueivy sometimes that shock is what is needed ! I’ve often go off tracks and then had a scare and gone back into it. Main thing is ur hopping back on

Yes that's a fair point as I've been not fully on track for a while and that scale number today has literally made me think about what I'm doing.

It's been a good day, lots of water and food as planned. I had a decent 90 minute workout too. I felt like I had good energy and strength possibly as I haven't worked out properly in a little while.

I'm in the danger zone now though as I'm still a bit peckish after dinner and I'm sure I'm actually craving something sweet.

I may see if I have any Greek yogurt and have that with a sprinkle of cinnamon. I don't have any fruit in so not sure what else I could have. I'll keep my willpower though as I don't want to fail on what is essentially day 1.

Hope has your day been?

I'd love to know how @jelly79 and @Chunkymonkey123 are getting on. I find this thread really helpful so be good to see them back soon!

I'm away this week and completely off track! I had 2 glasses of champagne and a glass of red last night and feel rough today!

No more alcohol for me!

Today I’ve had cake, choc and 3 lunches. Still dinner to come
ffs.

but I’ve just cleared it all out. And I’m back on tmrw. I’ve changed my dinner and drinks night out to a cinema date at 8pm so we can eat something at home (low cal low carb for me) not have a drink and just enjoy the film together. I’m not bothered about eating at cinema (thank god!) So that means this weekend I can remain on plan which is key for me.

so I have from tmrw Thursday to next sat to not fall off. No socials. So only me standing in way!!! I have a busy weekend the weekend of 14th though but just need to focus on the next 9 days

im going to weigh myself tmrw and Friday and then put the scales away and just stick to calories and low carbs and moving more. Setting no targets but would love to be 10.6 before I have my busy weekend but will require absolute focus from me. It’s 5 pounds off in a week - but 4 of them are def water from excess choc!

so basically just set myself a target!!!!

Sounds like a good plan!

This is a reminder to us during the good times when it just starts to feel easy again, just how difficult this is at times.

I don't think it will ever come naturally to me to eat the healthy life. I'll just always have to work at perfecting that balance.

Your 9 day plan is a good one and I'll be cheering you on!

I'll probably be off plan again this weekend so if I can finish today without having pudding and eat light tomorrow, I'll have a weekend off (ish) and back on it again next week.

Still not setting any goals at this stage.

I've had water, coffee, soup and a heavy pasta dinner. I was hungry so had a mini mountain, but at least it wasn't chocolate!

Had a workout today but definitely felt fatigued from yesterday. Intend to have another workout tomorrow may just do cardio.
