Made DS some supper after football and resisted although a bit hungry! Bed soon 🤣

I do have socials every weekend this month though so there is a fine balance to be met during the week.

Is holiday mode creeping in @Smartmove have a great time.

I'm 10:8:8 today feel quite bloated. Had a sandwich at lunch and rice with dinner.

Plan today is to have lunch and dinner by6:30pm and then fast until 6:30pm tomorrow. I will still have one or two coffees tomorrow probably one in morning and one later in the afternoon.

Would like the bloat to go down for the weekend.

Didn't get a chance to have dinner by 6:30pm - just had ham and cheese on sourdough bread at 8pm and now not sure if that will fuel my fast tomorrow and I didn't want to wait until 8pm tomorrow to break my fast. I may have to cut it short.

I’m day 5 of no UPF which has meant no sugar (apart from fruit), I’ve not been hungry as trying not to focus on calories but it’s hard to think of what to actually eat!
Halfway through ‘why we eat (too much)’ and I would recommend it. So far it’s explained about the set weight point and why your body fights so hard to get back up to it when you lose weight through dieting. A quick summary is your body doesn’t recognise that you are carrying too much fat due to receptors getting blocked due to too much insulin which is caused by a diet high in sugar and refined carbs. He reckons that if you reduce these things your body will naturally start losing weight. I’m giving it a go and I’ll keep you updated if it works!

I'm 10:9:7 today - probably too much bread yesterday. Will see how late I can fast today and report back later.

Tbh I’m mainly eating meat, dairy and veg. He talks a lot about having to do the mental shift first so eating healthy things because you are a healthy person rather than wanting to lose weight. I’m trying hard to tell myself that!!
breakfast: Greek yogurt, blueberries, walnuts
lunch: scrambled egg, avocado, roasted peppers
dinner: chicken fajitas - I did have one wrap instead of two because else I felt I was basically doing low carb.
other: large glass of white wine and half a biscuit

My fast ended about 3pm yesterday with some trail mix.

Had a big dinner last night.

I've basically maintained this week.

I'd like 10:7:0 by end of Feb so realistically need to be losing half a pound per week.

Goal for next Friday is 10:8:0

10.9.2 today so 2.5 off this week (but might be dehydrated from the wine last night 😂).
target still 10 stone. Want to reduce my back fat folds before the summer!

It's great having socials but it's not so great when trying to lose weight at the same time!!

It's also half term where things tend to fall out of usual routines a bit.

Not sure what my plan is this week. Perhaps if I can get a couple of pounds off that will be good so hopefully make some good choices and also get some movement in too.

How was everyone's weekend and what's your plan for this week?

gosh no idea what I’ll be when back. Sure I’ll have gained half a stone.
ive been thoughtful with eating and not had much puddings at all and only 1/2 drinks. But then enjoying huge dinners and the brekkie buffet (though having it healthy it’s a lot of cals!)

plan to gradually restart on Friday. And then Sat start fully. I purposely have no dinner and drinking plans for a month so I can just stick to it. Hubby has been banned from buying mini eggs!

I’m back! I’ve not weighed but will tmrw. The plane test was quite frankly gross food and I was hungry so I ate white bread and cheesecake and I feel disgusting! I think next time on long haul I’ll choose the low fat options and just stay hungry!

anyways today I plan on eating healthy whole foods but I think I’ll need a lot of it as starving from all the carbs!

yoghurt almond butter and mixed frozen berries mixed together

a lentil salad with lots of beans and chilli and coriander

salmon and veg

hoping then tmrw I can start dropping cals and carbs. for me dropping carbs kills my hunger and works. I have no socials for a month so hoping this month sees me drop a good amount

Hello @Smartmove, welcome back!

Things are bad here, been away for a few days and it’s been carb and wine heavy. I’ve given up chocolate for lent and also going to have at least a week off the alcohol which should held with late night snacking.

On plan yest with 15 min hit and 8000 steps. Ended on 1100 cals.

today the plan is to do 15 min HIT prob minimal steps as laudary day!

yoghurt and berries
Left over chicken burgers
pork chop and broccoli

im currently 5 pounds up from pre holiday weight! So 11 stone aghhhhh!
