@hollyhola thank you but it's not mine it's my BFs birthday tomorrow (I shall pick and eat some cake though!)

A decent day today considering I have been driving for 8 hours and 5 hours in meetings

Roast veg salad
Yoghurt with chocolate protein and seeds
Calamari.
Cherry tomatoes
Raspberries
Square of 109% dark chocolate (not nice)

Just got home and in bed and pleased that I didn't cave in to getting sugary stuff for the last 2 hours of the journey!

I’m keeping fruit on the menu. What do u think? I’ll stick to berries this week which are lower in sugar. It’s good for us right? Fibre? Antioxidants ?

this is not easy.

not sure on my plans today as our for cake and then dinner tonight. No alcohol. No pudding at dinner is about as far as I’ve gotten! Oh and I’ll stick to meat dishes not pizza/pasta (Italian restaurant)

Well I’m pissed off

weight today 10.9.8
weight last Friday 10.11 but 10.10 on sat

so I don’t know if that’s a 0.2 loss or STS.
i feel like apart from wed I’ve been sooo good. Done my HiT etc. surely it’s not worth all this effort :(

plan next Friday 10.8 (this is pre Xmas weight). I’m going back to daily weights and looks like I do need to stick to 1000 daily to get these last bits off…

average cals this week been 1450 which is too high for me to loose.

waaaaa. 10.10 is where my body struggles to move too every time I manage it’s Xmas / holidays / DD and DH bday next weekend

Sorry you're pissed off. I wonder whether you weighed lighter during the week and this is just a blip. Keep going and I'm sure it will show.

I was 10:10:4 today - entirety deserved so can't complain. A gain on last week.

I'm not going to set a goal for next week though as that clearly didn't work this week.

I'll just weigh daily and each day try to make some good choices.

I don't have any real plans this weekend so I will try to not go overboard.

Will also try to keep exercising in some sort this weekend.

I’m pulling out all the stops till next Friday

ultra low carb 1000 cals max
hit / steps water. I’m going to gain next weekend as have
afternoon tea / dinner out / cake in house / family over for bdays. I know this is life so want to get to 10.8 so have some wriggle room.

today no brekkie. I’ll have half a cupcake and black coffee for lunch (so unhealthy) but there’s nothing else there to eat and my friend having a hard time so I’m not changing her venue choice.
dinner - chicken and salad . No alchol. No pudding.
tmrw be a gain but luckily no plans.
Sunday lunch with friends at 12. Will try fast till then (will have splash’s to milk to keep me going)
not sure Xmas was worth all this effort!!? I don’t mean that …but it’s so annoying

@hollyhola my wed cake / choc / alcohol def will have pushed me up but then I was good yest. So at most I have been 10.9.5 maybe. New week. Different week. Different plan same principles
think banning sugar will help. Little bits of dark choc always find their way in me!

I am 10s4.2 which is 3 off!
I only had a couple of squares of dark chocolate since Monday and some longer fasts so I think that's really helped! It makes me drink more water which I don't do enough of!

Pizza and cake tonight then fasting and back to it tomorrow!

Let's have our best week together all x

i think having a sugar free week will be key for me. I had about 200 cals of dark choc most days last week I didn’t even need . I think also I went out last Friday and though didn’t go crazy I had wine and icecream and had the wine/brownie/choc on wed . It basically just needs to stop till I get to goal coz I’m not shifting these last few pounds ow. Determined to get to 10.8 for Friday.

Fasted till 1
2 eggs on toast with tomatoes
Then BF 'party tea' pizza, chicken, ribs, fries, mozerella sticks
Then the best desserts (brownie, cookie, sticky toffee cake with toffee sauce and a bueno sauce)

To be honest I had a little bit of everything but don't feel too indulged!

Fast till about 1/2 tomorrow now but I feel like I need a lazy day tomorrow after a busy week so no exercise

ps I also realised yest (shock) that I was having 150 cals extra a day of yoghurt coz I read the 100g and half a pot calories wrong!!!!!!!!!
it’s a coconut yoghurt so very calorific but delicious and filling

Morning all happy Saturday - thank god it's the weekend that was a horrible working week.

Jelly you must feel fab and like your fast was worthwhile.

Smart move I'll try Monday to Thursday for the no sugar thing. I often sneak coffee into my sugars so think that will be the hardest. I could just drink tea as I find that easier with no sugar.

I was surprised to weigh at 10:8:6 this morning that's a 1.8lb drop since just yesterday. Have no idea how that's happened so could be a blip.

10:9:0 today

I managed Friday and Saturday without going crazy. If I can keep reasonably on track today I should be starting the week on the right foot ready to go no sugar Monday to Thursday.

That will possibly involve me having a wine and a chocolate bar before the day is out.

Well done for starting on a weekend with the no sugar. Was the kale and bacon your dinner yesterday?

I went a bit crazy yest . I have an awful cold and couldn’t be bothered. Kale and broccoli and mushrooms was lunch. Everyone at home was ill and no one wanted anything I was goin to cook….

We ended up with pizza icecream and choc for dinner!!!

annoyed at that as was just not needed! So I’m fasting atm till 12 have pub lunch then….will have no potatoes no Yorkshire and hope that’s going to see me through till tmrw am… def not drinking I don’t feel like it

no sugar starts today! Promise!!!

@hollyhola well done this weekend. I think not having weekends off may be the key / or maybe eating maintence calories coz tbh I’ve been stuck at 10.8 to 10.11 range for months now!

Hello all! Sorry I’ve been absent for ages. Was really struggling to get back into it last week and I am currently away for my birthday so the pizza, fizz and cake means my stomach is massively bloated! Suspect there will be another gain on from Christmas 🤦‍♀️ I had to take off a pair of my jeans as they were too tight 😩😩😩
Anyway the only thing to do is get back on it. I will start tomorrow with the aim to be lower carbing to get control, less sugar and then from Wednesday I’m going to go low calorie.

10:8:8 today

Whoever said it is largely how we do on the weekends was absolutely right. I need to change my weekend mindset. I can and will have treats on a weekend, but what I need to do is not go all out from Friday through to Sunday, spending they entire working week chasing my tail and then doing exactly the same thing again the following weekend.

Balance. I need to get more balance on a weekend.

How are you getting on with the no sugar? I'm joining you today and have already had a coffee with no sugar.

As I'm only aiming to do 4 days, it feels very achievable at the moment.
