I went of track today
left over chocs and biscuits in office
i I ate them and me and collegues threw rest away

ugh! I’m weighing tmrw and then stopping weighing and moving to a Friday weigh in. I basically got to 10.11 and have self sabotaged again!

It's just so easily done. But why do we have good intentions in the morning and then sabotage! I'm the same

Today...
HIIT ✔️
Fasted till 12
3 chicken sausage, seeded toast and chopped tomatoes
Banana and PB
Apple and cheese
Yoghurt and granola
Double decker and some M&Ms

About 1700 (first time I have put it in MFP but I need something to stare at.

Kitchen closed at 5pm (now I'm hungry)

Smartmove · 08/01/2024 21:39

@jelly79 ur very active so actually that’s a good amount cal wise! Was also thinking u should prob measure urself as ur turning fat into muscle…which weighs more…

im just all fat! I have done HIT 3 times this week and feeling the burn. Need to keep it up. Not that it helps with my weight loss though

Smartmove · 08/01/2024 21:43

Oh @jelly79 not sure I’m wondering if for me it’s when I eat any upf?? Since new year I had none…was getting Xmas pounds off

Then yest at Nando’s had a lot of chips
and then since then kinda spiralled? I think I just must be very sensitive to carbs/upf / sugar and it gets me wanting more??

or the other thing with me is once I start feeling a bit better / clothes do up/scales drop I relax but relax too much

new 2 plans for next fortnight - see if works(!) no upf / limited upf AND weigh once a week.

Smartmove · 09/01/2024 07:14

Back to 10.13
scales moved away. Focussing on eating not the scales now!
today
yoghurt and berries
feta salad
eggs for dinner

Itsholly · 09/01/2024 08:24

@Smartmove be patient with yourself it does take time to kick back into the good habits. Sounds like for you not weighing so frequently could be helpful. Let us know how you get on on Friday. Stick with it. You know you can do it.

@jelly79 You're so good at working out. It's not that muscle turns into fat, you can lose fat and gain muscle but they are separate. Muscle is incredibly hard to grow, so could well be your muscles retaining water to help them recover from working out.

@MarshmallowWorld How are you getting on? Do you have a coffee in the morning and then lunch and dinner?

@Chunkymonkey123 Hope you're having a good week too.

Surprisingly I weighed at 10:8:1 today. I want to be 10:8 by Friday so the challenge now is not to ease off and keep going for the rest of the week.

I had a crumpet this morning as was hungry and have pasta for lunch. Probably Chilli for dinner with small bit of rice and salad. I'm still not back to exercising and getting fed up now!

Have a good day all.

jelly79 · 09/01/2024 12:53

Just broke my fast with some ryvita, cucumber, lettuce and mackerel pate. It lasted minutes!
Praying the food gremlins don't take over now!

Done a hiit and a run this morning so need to make sure I don't reward myself with chocolate! Maybe a little ;)

MarshmallowWorld · 09/01/2024 13:00

I'm ovulating/post-ov whixh always makes me hold water. So I refuse to weigh myself until I feel better!
I've been doing well on low carb though I'll be challenged tonight as out for dinner.

Today I've had my first fatty coffee (butter and Mct oil today) and later I'll have bread made with ground almonds and flaxseed with scrambled eggs. Carbs should be at 10g prepared for going out tonight when it will all be ruined 😂 I've looked at the menu and I'm planning to go for fish with Holland side and new potatoes so I have some control over the carbs. The wine, however....

MarshmallowWorld · 09/01/2024 13:00

I posted on the wrong thread before oops 😂

Smartmove · 09/01/2024 16:04

Enjoy ur meal out @MarshmallowWorld i have one on Friday but wish I didn’t! Have decided to only have 1 glass of wine and the rest of weekend I have nothing on so can stay of the wine too.

today kitchen has just closed at 920 cals and 20g carbs. Stuck to plan except some extra camberbert
hope I don’t get hungry later. Having a huge glass of sparkling water to hope it doesn’t happen!

jelly79 · 09/01/2024 17:49

@Smartmove yum to Camembert!

Decent day for me!

HIIT and run done

Kitchen closed and I am at college with water only!

Smartmove · 09/01/2024 20:39

Not hungry! Looking fwd to not weighing tmrw!!!!! And just staying on track will eat at 9am so done a 16 hour fast and have
2 boiled eggs and milky coffee
feta olive salad
meatballs and home made arribiata sauce

@jelly79 well done fab day and excercise done! I did 10000 steps but no HiT will do it tmrw after brekkie

Itsholly · 10/01/2024 07:47

Morning all,

Hope you had a good meal out @MarshmallowWorld

I'm still getting to grips with my hunger and appetite and general mindset of saying no to myself with food. Very unusual for me to have a crumpet at breakfast and then another between lunch and dinner. Need to build that willpower back up!

Weight up at 10:9:0 today so need to get back down to 10:8 by Friday.

Will try to be more focussed today. No exercise yesterday. Should be back to fitness next week which I'm looking forward to.

jelly79 · 10/01/2024 09:01

@Itsholly crumpets are a real pleasure! I had some with maple butter on over Xmas!

I am so hungry today! Done cardio HIIT at 6am and had an MCT coffee but I want food! Will have another coffee and go work at the gym to avoid breaking my fast too early

I had a boost at college last night! And I loved it 🤣

MarshmallowWorld · 10/01/2024 09:29

Thank you, I did! Managed to do pretty well carb-wise but my downfall, as predicted, was 2 massive glasses of wine. It was nice though!

Itsholly · 10/01/2024 09:54

@jelly79

I LOVE Boosts

They're the best

Glad you enjoyed it and life is for living, so it's good to accept that socials and meals etc won't stop and we manage the balance as best we can.

jelly79 · 10/01/2024 09:57

@MarshmallowWorld you have to enjoy it when you go out!!! Glad you had a lovely time x

Smartmove · 10/01/2024 10:13

@jelly79 love a boost too! Yum! Glad u enjoyed it

@MarshmallowWorld 2 glasses not end of world. It’s hard to balance living life and loosing weight but it can be done! Hope u enjoyed.

I’ve done my HiT this am and had my 2 eggs and went for milky coffees as fasted HIT made me feel a bit funny! Did 16 hour clean fast though so pleased with that. Hopefully back on track now!

drinking lots of water and hoping to be 1000 today

Smartmove · 10/01/2024 17:31

Ending on 1000 and 35g carbs
HIT done this am. Only 3 thousand steps though. Hard on work days for me to get more in…

just about to plan tmrws food now
kitchen just closed!

MarshmallowWorld · 10/01/2024 17:54

I'm ending today on 1400 (too high) but only 35g carbs

Fancied something sweet today and did this:

15g ground almonds
1 heaped tsp cacao powder
Sprinkle of baking powder
1 egg

  1. All mixed up, microwave for 1 minute
  1. Turn out, stick dark chocolate slices through the surface into the middle
  1. Serve with Greek yoghurt or cream etc

Kept me super full, felt like a sweet treat. Stopped me going for biscuits!

MarshmallowWorld · 10/01/2024 17:54

Oh I did put a couple of vanilla stevia drops in too so the sponge veered towards sweet rather than eggy

Smartmove · 10/01/2024 20:19

@MarshmallowWorld that sounds utterly delicious!
