I have MCT coffees with the willpowder creamer and MCT oils - helps me fast so much longer!

MarshmallowWorld · 04/01/2024 17:47

Yes I use Willpowders! I tried to remake her new protein thing today with the collagen, Mct powder and nick's vanilla

Smartmove · 05/01/2024 07:35

Morning girls. 10.13 today. Got a while to go pre Xmas weight!! Plan today
yoghurt passion fruit almonds
tuna egg salad
home made hunters chicken and green beans

dropping my carbs today so hopefully will speed things up!

MarshmallowWorld · 05/01/2024 08:34

I'm 10.2 today

Planning on:
Fat coffee
Almond and flax bread w/ cheese and avocado
Blueberries and Greek yoghurt
Meatballs with olives and rest of almond bread for dinner

Must try to avoid: choc and glass of wine this eve. I expect I'll fail at latter

Chunkymonkey123 · 05/01/2024 08:43

10.11 today but I’m not feeling very well so I’m doing a 16 hour fast until 11am and will then will probably eat normally today.
I need to stop eating leftover Christmas chocolates in the evening, that’s what’s ruining it for me!

Itsholly · 05/01/2024 09:19

Hi everyone,

I also haven't been too well this week which has affected my appetite- I weighed at 10:8:4 today which I'm taking as a bit of a false reading as I think that will go up a bit once I feel better.

I'll say my aim for next Friday is 10:8:0 as I want to remain realistic and not feel like I'm failing so early in the new year.

Hope you're feeling lots better soon @Chunkymonkey123

What is this coffee all about? Can you explain as someone that knows nothing about them? Are they low calorie, how are they different to normal coffee, what do they do and where do you get them from? Thanks!

Have a good day and weekend all.

MarshmallowWorld · 05/01/2024 11:00

Hi Holly, they're fat-based so no carbs. Idea is they satiate you and stop you wanting to eat/prolong your fast. They just help you to push through a bit more before eating. You can use butter or MCT. Ideally I'd just have it black and be clean, but I don't like drinking it that way. If you use fat I think (though somebody correct me if I'm wrong) that your providing energy to your brain but not activating your insulin response. Or something like that.

Smartmove · 05/01/2024 16:03

Ending early on 1200 and 70g carbs
so didnt really manage very low carb but managed lowish. Cals r over the 1000 I like too

found 2 (a few !) left over chocs from Xmas and couldn’t resist them! Which pushed both carbs and cals up The rest of my food has been very balanced and full of fruit and veg

going to do pelaton HIT soon though ……hopefully have a drop tmrw

@stillholly hope ur feeling better

Smartmove · 06/01/2024 07:34

10.12 today hopefully pre Xmas weight not too far!
plan today passion fruit yoghurt pumpkin seeds
left over hunters with veg
salmon avacado

won’t eat any chocs today! Black coffees. Will start eating at 9ish so have fasted 16 hours

Smartmove · 06/01/2024 16:22

Closing on 1050 and 40g carbs which is better for me! And also HIT done

Smartmove · 07/01/2024 13:25

10.11
today plan went in the bin as ended up in Nando’s with my chicken and broccoli but had half of my kids chips (and some of DH). Can save day if don’t have dinner but suspect I’ll be hungry…so far 1400!

did ten thousand steps and about to do pelaton HiT

Itsholly · 07/01/2024 13:44

10:9 today

Intend to have a massive roast later. Quite fancy a pudding but don't have anything in.

Ready to go for it from tomorrow.

Smartmove · 07/01/2024 17:25

Ending on 1600
not expecting a loss tmrw
tighten up this week
fasting starts!

Itsholly · 07/01/2024 17:35

I always weigh heavier on a Monday - those pesky weekends!

I'm just about to have my roast and may try not to bother with pudding.

I expect I'll be heavier tomorrow than I was today.

Aim remains at 10:8 by next Friday.

Smartmove · 08/01/2024 07:30

10.11.5.
which has annoyed me even though I know it was the chips and also extra cals over weekend
think my hunger is better regulated now post Xmas so hoping I can really put those cals and carbs down. Plan today

arla yoghurt and 3 Brazil nuts
green tikka marinated salmon avacado
halloumi bake with loads of veg

comes in at 980 and 28g carbs. Will stop eating at 430

jelly79 · 08/01/2024 07:41

Morning all! I am seeing a pattern that I go MIA when I am not being 'good'

Promise to check in consistently - even on the weekends!

My jan start has been lots of exercise! And lots of health foods but snacking like a greedy toddler - went the panto yesterday and my sugar intake was unnecessary 🤣

Feeling switched on today! 10s 7 this morning! Coffees until 12 as I have done HIIT at 6am and already hungry! Going to do lots of fish, eggs and yoghurt!!

jelly79 · 08/01/2024 07:43

@Itsholly exactly as @MarshmallowWorld said :) I have 2 during the morning. Gives me energy and helps me fast longer! It's meant to curb your cravings and help you mentally switch on too!!

@MarshmallowWorld have you had her chocolate protein? I've got that that I'm going to start having for a sweet treat rather than all the Chocs I'm eating!

2lb loss this week is my intention. 4 HIITS and 3 runs!

jelly79 · 08/01/2024 07:53

@Smartmove it took me last week but I do feel as you say more regulated now! It's crazy how you get thrown out of routine.

Just seen you have put a close time on the kitchen - great idea! I am going to do this at 5pm today!

MarshmallowWorld · 08/01/2024 08:01

@jelly79 I thought about trying it but already do the collagen and Mct powder so the cost put me off. However, I looked at the ingredients and it's just the Mct powder mixed with the collagen and some flavouring. So I made my own last week! Just mixed the Mct powder and collagen and then added some nick's vanilla stevia and a bit of maldon salt. Would be interested to see how it compares but it tasted good and helped with my sweet craving

Itsholly · 08/01/2024 08:30

Morning all - will weigh shortly

Where is the MCT coffee booth from?

Itsholly · 08/01/2024 08:30

Bought from that is supposed to say.

MarshmallowWorld · 08/01/2024 08:42

Willpowders

jelly79 · 08/01/2024 09:07

I buy my MCT oil from Amazon and I buy the powder from willpowders x

jelly79 · 08/01/2024 09:08

Natures Aid 100 Percent MCT Oil, Premium Coconut Oil, Sustainably Sourced, Add to Coffees or Shakes, Vegan, 500 ml amzn.eu/d/dPtvpoV

Itsholly · 08/01/2024 09:43

Thank you for that link. I'll take a look and think about giving it a go. Looks like you just add it to your coffee and I have a coffee in the morning anyway.

I was 10:10:1 today

I want 2lb off by Friday to be 10:8

I don't have a firm plan at the moment - broad intention to have just lunch and dinner but will have to plan out specific meals.
