12 pounds to loose

Smartmove · 07/05/2023 07:22

I’ve done this before during lockdown and got down to a decent weight but slowly gone back up. I keep starting and then doing well and then self sabtogage and gain it all. It’s such a problem. So I’m taking it 1 week at a time. And writing on here to keep me on straight and narrow

day 1
weight 11.6 . Bmi 25.5
goal weight 10.8

this is post 4 days of self sabotage so should come off very quickly I was 11.1 4 days ago so should be water. And then will start slowing down

today plan
brocolli and Stilton soup at 11ish
feta stuffed chicken with a side salad of leaves and avacado at 4ish

I can do this. I usually eat 3 small meals but I ate so much last night I’m not hungry!

Well done on the Hiit / how are you finding it?

Hopefully your numbers will settle down soon.

Today I've ran a couple of miles
Caramel latte
Omelette with one slice toast and avocado
Chicken for dinner probably with sweet potato and beans

Could easily have a beer

Smartmove · 15/06/2023 18:14

I enjoy it but quite unfit atm! Hopefully will improve! I like it’s short and intense!

today heck sausages
almonds
feta salad
sebass and brocolli

1000 cals and 20g carbs
I can’t really have much less I get too hungry

OP posts:
hollyblueivy · 15/06/2023 20:35

Sounds like a good day. Some ice cream jumped in my mouth.

Smartmove · 15/06/2023 20:37

A mini milk just jumped into mine ! (they only 27 cals but I prob shouldn’t have them every day!)

OP posts:
Smartmove · 16/06/2023 06:58

I’m the exact same 11.13.2 again :(

I honestly think I need to drop to 900 cals one days I don’t do hit. Will try today but I do find I get hungry despite lots of fat and protein in diet

OP posts:
hollyblueivy · 16/06/2023 07:03

I can't see that you're doing anything wrong. Exercise, plenty of water, filling yourself on protein.

Are you eating lots of fruit, veg and salad?

I'm not sure going to 900 is the answer, as what will happen when you increase your calories back up again.

hollyblueivy · 16/06/2023 07:04

Question - Are you getting enough fibre for your body to do it's thing? (Poo)

Smartmove · 16/06/2023 07:22

Or I stop having off plan days which is about 2 a week I would say involving carbs and alchol but decent food rest of it. No huge plans this weekend except pizza which isn’t ideal!

OP posts:
Smartmove · 16/06/2023 07:24

@hollyblueivy i think that’s def part of the issue. I think I’m bunged up. I’m prob not having enough fruit and veg as watching my carbs but I’m going to up it and have berries this am and have planned chicken kimchi cauliflower rice thing from the fast 800 book which looks fibre full!

I think also my bmi is 24.6 now so expecting huge amounts to drop off isn’t going to happen like before. Hopefully it will move tmrw :(

how was ur weigh in

OP posts:
Smartmove · 16/06/2023 07:28

Plan today is
yoghurt berries flaxseed
egg white cheese omelette with spinach
fast 800 Korean chicken thing
comes in at 950 I use almond milk for my multiple coffees so is only about ten cals a day on top of that

OP posts:
Smartmove · 16/06/2023 07:32

Had a look only hitting 10g fibre a day
time to up that hard doing that while watching carbs as I’m a bit carb sensitive but it’s important for my health. Gonna rejig today to up it

OP posts:
hollyblueivy · 16/06/2023 07:39

Sounds like a great plan - leafy green veg is great too but not sure what the carb situation is on that. Better than pasta and white bread anyway!

10:11:7 for me which is 0.4lb increase - May be the sweet potato with dinner but could be anything really and not too concerned about small fluctuations.

I think it's really important to still have and enjoy the treat and alcohol- life can't stop whilst losing weight, it has to be sustainable.

With that said, it's the weekend so my plan will go a bit wobbly.

Caramel latte breakfast
Chicken sandwich lunch in a sandwich thin
Dinner may be the gammon I've been putting off all week
Then maybe some alcohol / ice cream

Will try to do 2-3 miles later too if not too hot, but could just walk if it is.

Have a great Friday

hollyblueivy · 16/06/2023 07:56

Just refreshing what foods are fibre rich as may try to increase my intake also

Smartmove · 16/06/2023 08:04

Thanks @hollyblueivy beans etc are prob the best way to meet it looking at that and they r good carbs so maybe I need to start introducing them into my meals more.

def wouldn’t worry re that - ur doing great have a fab weekend . We having pizza on Sunday but tmrw should be on plan

Is t it great when you break under another stone barrier! Well done to you both getting in the 10s! Xx

I'm away with work so all out of routine!
Fasted till 12 and then had chicken salad and crisp. Lots of water. Then went for tea out on my own! Lots of soda water and sushi / sashimi! Need to eat more protein so had a protein bar and done 20k steps! Felt like my stomach was way too full!

Going to go for a run early in the morning and just have a protein shake and coffee for breakfast!

Are you back from your work trip yet, have you had a chance to weigh?

Smartmove · 16/06/2023 18:45

finished eating. Ended on 1000 again but carbs high at 60g but I got my fibre in. See what tmrw brings…

OP posts:
Smartmove · 16/06/2023 19:59

Actually 47g carbs miscalculated

OP posts:
hollyblueivy · 16/06/2023 20:00

The day went to plan but had leftover chicken with potato and beans instead of the gammon.

No alcohol but still time for something sweet.

Feel like the scales should go down tomorrow.

Smartmove · 16/06/2023 20:09

@hollyblueivy u really don’t want the gammon do u!

I finally managed to go to loo - apologies. So also hoping that’s why the scales have been stuck and I have some good news tmrw!

OP posts:
hollyblueivy · 16/06/2023 20:27

I don't mind it with mash, but it's a bit too hot for mash at the mo.

Glad you've been able to go! I think it's quite helpful on here to think things through and try to work out what needs to be rejigged.

I had a Lindt ball. Just one. That's me done for the day now.

Update in the morning!

Smartmove · 17/06/2023 06:57

And I’ve had that woooshhh people talk about!

OP posts:

Great to see you're on the move, you could do a pound by your hen do.

I'm 10:11:5 today so slight drop of 0.2lb.

Smartmove · 17/06/2023 08:54
