I’ve done this before during lockdown and got down to a decent weight but slowly gone back up. I keep starting and then doing well and then self sabtogage and gain it all. It’s such a problem. So I’m taking it 1 week at a time. And writing on here to keep me on straight and narrow

day 1
weight 11.6 . Bmi 25.5
goal weight 10.8

this is post 4 days of self sabotage so should come off very quickly I was 11.1 4 days ago so should be water. And then will start slowing down

today plan
brocolli and Stilton soup at 11ish
feta stuffed chicken with a side salad of leaves and avacado at 4ish

I can do this. I usually eat 3 small meals but I ate so much last night I’m not hungry!

11.1.2 this am. But then not had best day and prob ended up 1600 due to 2 bowl of hubbys granola eaten. Prob a small gain tmrw due to carbs and then hopefully back to 10.13.2 very very soon?? So boring this!!!!!

I was 11st 0.8lb this morning so will join you checking in daily with weight and summary of how I've eaten.

I'll try to broadly follow 16:8 eating pattern. Earring during the hours of 12-8pm.

Focus today will be drinking 1.5l water (at least)

I was same today after my granola binge! So 11.1.2
I’ve had my yoghurt and berries
and lunch is grilled peppers courgueets and chicken sausages
dinner seabream and broccoli
snould be 900 and 40g carbs - going to start counting carbs now and try keep below 30 from tmrw

Just had lunch and dinner today, managed to keep within an 8 hour eating window and get my 1.5l water in.

Will post after I weigh in the morning.

I’m still at ten stone , not budging it’s so frustrating.
I’ve been substituting bread for rice cakes so three rice cakes and low fat cottage cheese for breakfast and salad for lunch then normal dinners nothing mega fatty.
Im going completely tee total now , zero wine at weekends to see if that will help too.
Again , positive at least I’m not gaining and I’ll keep plodding along.
Very active shift at work today lots of lifting so that should help too.

Weigh in 11.0.4 today. So hopefully tmrw back to where I was pre holiday!!!! So slow! I’ve woken up with a sandpaper throat so no idea what I’ll be eating if anything!
@FijiSea yes frustrating u sounds active maybe ur building muscle and loosing inches instead?

I wish it was muscle but sadly I just think my metabolism is so bad particularly now I’m 41 , it seems to have dropped off a cliff
I’m positive about this week though. Lots of activity planned and committed to stick to it.

@FijiSea im 39 and why i feel like I really need to do it this time as in my head once I hit 40 it’s all going to be so so much harder!
keep going it wil drop off. Are u counting carbs? Im very sensitive to carbs so find low carbs gives me better results. Good luck for this week

40 here! It does get harder doesn't it?!

I was 10:13.4 this morning so 1.3lb drop.

Had tuna pasta for lunch with a little bit of cheese and Mayo.

Steak for dinner but not sure what I'm having with it yet.

Since august last year - Started 12st 3.5 - just doing 16:8 really not calorie counting but trying to eat lunch and dinner with lots of fruit veg and salad.

i had not the best day. Due to 2 lattes and an extra piece of chicken consumed. Not bad stuff but on 1300 cals so won’t have lost anything hope I haven’t gained

Mine has been slow too to be fair. I like to enjoy weekends and sometimes over indulge so putting on and losing the same pounds often.

Checking back in post hols

Id Managed to lose 3lbs before hols. Usually I manage to gain up to 7lbs on hols but pretty pleased that I only gained 3lbs. Ate what I wanted but I did do a lot of walking plus me and eldest DS went to the gym 3 times (I usually workout 4-5 times a week)

so back to weekly weigh ins. Will weigh on Friday but was 10st Monday

goal weight is 9st but would be happy to get to 9st 6 for a “normal BMI”

I'm at 10:12.6 this morning which is 0.9lb drop.

I think I'd like to get to 10st 3lb so 9.6lb to lose. But I'm not sure as it's hard to know what that will look and feel like.

What are your targets on here?

@hollyblueivy im aiming for 10.7 which is another 8 pounds off. It gives me a bmi of 23.6 just to give u an idea.

im 11 today so drop 1.2 overnight

Avocado toast one slice with spread

Sts today. Not actually back to 10.13.2 when I left last week for holiday. Been a bit lax with the odd toast or bowl of granola. Going to behave today!

You're so close that if you're good the next couple of days you'll get there.

I'm 10:11:7 today which is a 0.9lb drop.

This is my kind of cycle though, do well to Thursday then fall off a bit until Sunday and start again the Monday.

Let's see what the scales do over the weekend.

@hollyblueivy im going to start exercising from next week - my job is pretty sedentary. I’ve been eating a bit too much tbh (prob 1500 yest hence Sts) but today I’ve skipped brekkie and will come in at 900 cals and hopefully have a decent drop tmrw! I have no eating or drinking plans this weekend so aiming to be on plan and try get to 10.12 by Monday maybe??
