I’ve done this before during lockdown and got down to a decent weight but slowly gone back up. I keep starting and then doing well and then self sabtogage and gain it all. It’s such a problem. So I’m taking it 1 week at a time. And writing on here to keep me on straight and narrow

day 1
weight 11.6 . Bmi 25.5
goal weight 10.8

this is post 4 days of self sabotage so should come off very quickly I was 11.1 4 days ago so should be water. And then will start slowing down

today plan
brocolli and Stilton soup at 11ish
feta stuffed chicken with a side salad of leaves and avacado at 4ish

I can do this. I usually eat 3 small meals but I ate so much last night I’m not hungry!

Today hasn't gone to plan. It involved cake and pizza. No workout.

Been a while since I've deviated from my intentions. Usually my treats are planned in but this wasn't.

The cake was thanks to being in the office and lacking in willpower.

The pizza was due to leftovers that I didn't want to throw away so ate a few slices.

Will be interesting to see what scales say tomorrow but it will definitely be 10:6 goal for next Friday and overall don't think I've had too bad of a week.

Morning, Friday is upon us again!

10:6:4 today which I'm over the moon with.

10:6 by next Friday is fully achievable - no excuses!!

The plan gets a bit loose on the weekend so I've already had one slice avocado toast and coffee.
I have a meeting with some hospitality today so that will either be a mid morning snack or classed as lunch depending how much I eat.
Dinner could be anything.

1-2 drinks are possible.

I will try not to completely undo the hard work during the week over this weekend but I always have treats so I think it will be about being mindful of what I'm having.

How did everyone get on this morning?

What are your plans to not sabotage over the weekend?

That is great Holly, Tempted to try cake and pizza now! I am still stuck on 10.11.4 but a year ago i was 12.5 so i am trying to look keep that in mind. I am only 5 foot so that does not help! Ideal weight would be just under 10 stone. I can do this with all your support. Thank you all and have a great weekend.

Half a pound off by next Friday could be an idea for a short term goal to see new numbers on the scale?

sorry I dropped off! dd been I’ll and been a long week! She’s fine now but it’s meant I’ve not cooked or planned and done a lot of reaching for the toast
I’m 10.10 so maintained this week.
next week is the week that I get to 10.9!

im out tonight for wine with an old friend. But luckily we eating before so no meal calories. I’m aiming to only have 2 glasses so I can hop at back on tmrw

I have no plans sat and Sunday so can really focus on low cal low carb healthy food. So pretty sure I’ll make it to 10.9 next Friday. (Fingers and toes crossed tightly)

today - Puriton shake
smashed avacado on low carb bread
cod and brocolli
2 glasses of wine

@jelly79 im sure u saw a fab loss this week u have really been so focussed this week reading back. I’m hoping that’s me next week as nothing standing in my way for a full 7 days after tonight (then I’m out next sat night for a big night!)
@whathappened maintaing isn’t easy. It will drop off let’s try make this the week it happens for us! What sort of things are u eating,

I am 10s2.4 which is 3 off and my stone! I'm over the moon!! I am hoping to get under 10 stone now - that's the next goal!

@whathappened keep remembering what you have achieved and you will stay on track!!

I am also out tonight but for dinner. I am just having whatever I want and enjoying it. No alcohol though for me

Just broke my fast and had a big Turkey and egg salad with hummus. Few strawberries

I'll not eat now till dinner tonight and then fast in the morning

Have got in a bit of a habit of egg on toast for lunch and jacket potato for dinner. Love your idea @hollyblueivy of aiming for half pound. Will do that and @Smartmove yes let’s make it a loss next week. Great weekend to you all

Macreal and avacado salad
cod and green beans

did a HIT last night before going out. I’m still up 1.5 with the wine bloat but hopefully back to normal 10.10 tmrw and let the loss begin! Aiming for 10.9 for sat ideally even 10.8 but think that’s def pushing it!

I’m just utterly sick of seeing 150 on the scales ! Time to actually do this! I think no sugar is the most important thing for me - once I start I can’t stop and I struggle the next day. If I can get through 2 days no sugar I’ll be fine :)

planning to start fasting at 430 ….fingers crossed 10.10 tmrw giving me 6 days to loose a minimum of a pound

fish heavy week! Find I loose weight quickest that way as filling and I can’t eat too much fish as feel weird even though I love it?!

@Smartmove sounds like you are in the right headspace. Sugar is my downfall and can really help when you reduce! It's so hard though!!

I crumbled this weekend!
Went out for dinner Friday and had lots of lovely guilt free eating, dessert and a couple of mocktails
Yesterday I fasted till 1pm and could of carried on but a sooonful of potato salad at a Friends party and it was like the seal broke! I ate all the meats and salads then the sugar gate opened and I grazed on biscuits and chocolate crispie cakes 🤣 still nibbling at 9pm!

Came home and made supper for BF but I gave it a miss

Was going to carry on with 'the weekend' until I typed that and it's made me feel more sensible so I'll fast this morning and cook something lovely later (although skipping breakfast today will be a challenge)

@jelly79 doesnt sound too bad esp as u don’t drink. I’m glad to know ur human too - u have been so amazing and focussed it’s normal to let ur hair down now and then. Have u been able to behave today coz I struggle once the gate opens!

on plan so far today. Should be 900 cals and low carbs. I am peckish but will have some water and hope it passes!

Ahhhhh @Smartmove thank you so much I really appreciate that! To be honest I am super all or nothing sometimes so trying to allow myself some slack and to maintain control at the same time!

I fasted till 3pm unintentionally today so I've just had a chicken pie and veg I made and really enjoyed it! I'm going to enjoy a chill and dessert / Chocs this afternoon whilst DS is gaming and BF is watching football. Then I'll fast handy so I'm not grazing all night!

After I messaged this morning I went for a run and skipped breakfast, I did have one finger on the fuck it switch!

900 cals on a Sunday is good going!!! X

Kitchen closed prob on 1000 as my broccoli plan with salmon turned into wanting the family noodles and veg. It was yum but prob punished my carb up

You guys have had a great weekend.

I had another meal out and few drinks and feeling a bit guilty about it and bloated. Didn't need to do that two days in a row and feel like I'm going off focus a bit.

Glad to see Monday come back around and ready to draw a line and go again this week.

Intentions will be the same as last week, two meals, water, exercise.

Hope my morning weigh isn't too bad then sim for the 10:6 goal by Friday. Need to stay on track and not self sabotage.

@hollyblueivy hope ur back on track today. Think it’s working for you having weekend off and focussing in week that’s the dream! And more in keeping with life. For me it wasn’t working as evident by my 2 month static weight! I think I can manage one day slightly off but the key is not to consume sugar that day as ow I struggle day after.

let’s see how my week goes. I’m feeling motivated but bet by wed I have the munchies!

@Smartmove good weight for after the weekend and you've done well to stay on track, is 10:9 the aim for Friday?

I was 10:8:1 this morning so need a good 2lb off by Friday.

No plans this weekend and at the moment I am thinking of not having a drink as that is my downfall and I want to make good headway for holiday as I know I'll be coming back loads heavier!

But it's only Monday so I won't get too ahead of myself. Just putting it out there for me to consider.

Ready for a good week.
